A visor that’s awkward to close fully. The main point of interface and they manage to fk it up and then to top it all they choose Sena.
Three years ago I bought an HJC with drop down sun visor (an excellent feature) but it is sooo noisy that I had two ear plugs custom made (moulded) which I have to pop in and remove every time I get on and off. Fed up with this, and the ratchet gate, two weeks ago I bit the bullet and pulled out my immediately previous helmet (a now 10 year old Arai) which, despite the absence of a sun visor, is so much softer (comfortable) internally, has a D ring (which doesn't chew into my neck) and is soooo much quieter. I'm now looking to buy an Arai Quantic - I'll sacrifice the absence of a sun visor (Arai don't incorporate them) for a quiet helmet which means I don't have to continually muck around with ear plugs. Flip helmets have too many moving parts that can go wrong.

Shoei if you read this as you should, pay attention: We need future nxr3 and gtair4 or a new model to have:
Much Better multi stage adjustable ventilation where its fully open position leads to a -1 degree Celsius inside temperature vs outside temperature instead of the same inside and outside like this gtair 3.
A drop down sunvisor that goes lowdown not to get on our field of view BUT with a dropdown button next to the base of the helmet not the side as it ruins the Aesthetic completely not to mention its aerodinAmics! Pay attention to the competition HJC's dropdown sunvisor system and Arai ESPECIALLY Arai's interior lining at it is the absolute best in confort it slides down our heads butter smooth every single time and That is all we dream of in a top of the line sport touring helmet.
As for 2023 me and my club rider friends all went for te better sport touring helmets of the moment hjc rpha71 and rpha 91.
you should make your own helmets with all of those great ideas

Just a shame everyone seems to be moving away from the D rings to ratchet locking systems, I find them bulkier, more uncomfortable and not as easy to get it perfectly secured for your own fit. That one thing alone means it wont be the replacement I'd have liked for my GT Air.
You can sent your GT Air (2/3) to Shoei and they will convert it to double D-rings for you. It's not super cheap (80€ here in Europe), but if it's important for you, maybe an option? :)
