8 years late to the party, but Lilith and Inarius first born child was technically Rathma, but was born Linarian. He didn't take the name of Rathma until much later when he fled sanctuary to a mysterious realm, and began training under Trag'Oul (like the set from D3)
In real life lore, the sons of god came and mated with the daughters of man, producing offspring called nephilem. These were giant beings sometimes up to 10 stories tall, or larger, who need not sustenance to live, but chose to devour. Powerful and mighty, they ruled the lands and defiled all of creation, shaping civilizations and creating religions that made them the center of praise. God then realized that the abomination taking place in the land of men had gone too far, and ordered a great deluge to swallow all that lived in order to remove all of the sin and corruption that had been wrought over the centuries. He sent an angel to warn a righteous man named Noah, that a great flood was coming and to prepare by making a ship to withstand the rising torrents he was going to let loose from below the belly of the earth, and from the gates above. This saved the divine lineage of the first created human, Adam, and preserved his seed from utter annihilation.
I wonder if we get to see inarius in the next Diablo 3 expansion pack Because we get to read the diaries that he wrote, in reaper of souls. Because the last of the nepelhem just had killed the angel of death Should get his attention he is the most powerful being in the universe
+Reiner Braun I think in the next expansion we might get to free him actually because i am not sure but as i remember he was imprisoned by mephisto in a unknown realm and is being tormented for many millennia bound in chains that slowly rip his wings apart, and as you mentioned before the nephilim awoke their powers, killed death and the prime evils so he might call on them for help.
I actually thought the Sin War books were the worst Diablo books that have been written. I was rather frustrated to see they were incorporated into the lore. The short stories that have been posted on battle.net though are fantastic: us.battle.net/d3/en/game/lore/short-story/middlewick/
I dont understand, how can the hero (the one you play as) be so freaking powerful if the powers where dorment? Wouldent that make the nephalems kinda average?
Our hero is "special" but we have to take in mind that in diablo 2 the creation stone was destroyed, so the Nephalems will slowly get back their powers.
Just one correction: The Eternal Conflict raged for millennia, not centuries. Otherwise, AWESOME VIDEO, bro! It gave me even better insight into what I already know, and now I am more convinced than ever that Lilith was RIGHT, and Inarius was WRONG! So, he first decided to kill the Nephalem, and only after Lilith's Purge of other renegades, he changed his mind about killing them... although not about taking our powers. Selfish prick! I really wonder what will become of him, if he does appear in Diablo IV as it seems, but I feel no sympathy for him - only disgust.
To answer your question... Lilith can take any human form she wants so she took a woman for and they mated.. this can be discovered by reading the Sin War trilogy... -_- Check your facts.
The whole mating thing was meant as a joke, just pointing that out. That being said, yes Lilith can take on any human form she desires, but i'm not just talking about her. Which is why i say "unless you are into some pretty hardcore demon bestiality, I imagine that some of the angels had a hard time finding a partner. Especially if Lilith was the only succubus among the entire group". Meaning that if Lilith was the only demon with a human shape among the group, you would basically have to get it on with a snake or a dog looking creature. I read the Sin War Trilogy two times so i do know the facts, i just think you misunderstood what i was trying to say. Or perhabs i just didn't explain it very well. Either way it was meant as a joke and the more likely scenario is that they didn't in fact "mate" in biological terms but instead somehow "created" their offspring via some sort of extraterrestrial mating we don't know anything about. ;)
+A dog on the internet true but i think they didnt mate physically or as you imagine human sex is i think they might have done it in entity forms like pure energy or something like that
Amazing work man, well done

Well isn't the Diablo IV main players a great surpise for your ask 7 years prior XD Whole focus is on Inarius and Lilith
This is add on lore mostly by blizzard for d3. The first game makers real lore is unknown.
same like devil may cry , both dante and virgil are Nephalem ....
tony the new ones the old ones are cambions
If this is how the story is then how was sanctuary discovered and how did mephisto captured inarius ?
nicee :) have you read the Sin War trilogy? its a good read and it explains what happened.
I have indeed. Richard is one hell of an author! :)
I know right, I'm thinking of reading some of his books on WoW, I've already read his other books from diablo aha.
Pinky D I hear that "Dawn of the Aspects" should be a pretty good WoW read by Richard ^^
I'll check it out, thanks :)

Nice job! Where are you from? Your accent sounds very Danish, but I'm not an expert ;)
Thank you!
You would be right in your assumption, i'm danish, born and raised ;)
wow nice guess
Mert Erakın Judging from his own name, I assume he is danish as well. Which would make recognizing a fellow dane a bit easier. But yes, nice guess! ;)
Could be super cool if I weren't a Dane, though, but just really good with accents. I am, though. Go Denmark!
plz, give us the lore of the sin war, uldisian all that.
I hope they make a movie diablo
poor lilith...
Oh don't worry about her, trust me ;)
Well she did kill almost all of sanctuary's population
I’m back
What about THE nephalem?

relax angry nerd
Subbed because danish
Technically, Sanctuary was created by the death of Anu
Shit I never thought about how they mated before, eww.. horrible mental images
