Hi Xilith, Greetings from kartacha from Nerd Zone! I was about to ask you a few questions. Where did you get the information about the eye of Anu becoming the Worldstone? Is the the "Book of Cain"? I ask this because it is kind of bizarre. I remember that I read somewhere that the Worldstone was created by Inarius and Lilith to keep the Sanctuary hidden from both angel and demons and to maintain the balance in the Sanctuary. It makes sense because it was (before it got destroyed) last sitting in Sanctuary (the mount Arreat's peak to be more specific). Also, do you have any accounts that prove that Pandemonium Fortress was build around (or more likely near) the Worldstone? And one last question do you think it is possible that the "Book of Cain" is not 100% correct? It sounds strange but it will be more realistic if it is not. After all it is written by a mere mortal scholar in some kind of dark age for the society. Cain could not know all of these due to his experience. He did not witness those and you know how a story could change from mouth to mouth. Cain captured some legends and for me it is totally possible that most of them are not true or some exaggerated tales. I feel that if it was written that the Worldstone was somewhere in the Pandemonium and the demons and angels fought over it then it only shows that the "Book of Cain" countains not 100% correct and full information. Why is that? Because if angels and demons fought all day and night (figure of speech. I know these do not exist in Pandemonium) for the Worldstone then would not have they notice when it dissappeared (and it certainly did because it was in Sanctuary last)? And if they noticed why they kept fighting in Pandemonium and just did not switched the battle arena to Sanctuary? The arguement that angels voted to not affect the Sanctuary is invalid. In this case it is not possible for a single side to decide whether the conflict would be or would not be held in a certain place. If even one of the sides decide that the Sactuary will be invaded then both sides should and will invade it otherwise the side that declined to act grants the acting side the win over the Worldstone. And the demons clearly showed over the course of time that they do not have anything against invading the Sanctuary. However, their "invasion" was evidently done with aim to control the nephalem than to control the Worldstone otherwise we all know that Sanctuary would have become the new Pandemonium.
You are right. Inarius and Lilith used the Worldstone to hide Sanctuary and keep the balance. But the Worldstone existed long time before this and it was a part of Anu. The whole conflict of angels and demons is because of the stone. Later when the nephalem were revealed and showed their immense power, the forces of hell fought to control them instead of obtaining the worldstone.
The world stone was originaly located within the pandemonium fortress. Inarius and Lilith later stole it and used it to create Sanctuary. It's all explained in another vid on my channel :)
