Magnifique.
Which one of the six is the first peice he plays? Does anyone know? Greatly appreaciate it if someone can answer :) By the by, remarkable performance on a guitar that seen so many years. So much history and even though whoever plays this peice it sounds grand! I'm glad music such as this exists and this what makes life great! Well, to me at least :)
the person who made the guitar which was antonio de torres. he is the equialavent of of antonio stradivari who made violins. both of the instruments they make sounds like the strings were made of angels guts. while the wood was finished of with their tears and blood. while god used his craftgodship. im a guitarist. im a noob too. :/
I listened to the Aranjuez (clip). You should post nicer things about people who play as well as Marc Teicholz. He is a virtuoso. Your, "Constructive critiscism" is not accurate at all. Be nice please. The video above is a fabulous piece of music played by an outstanding player.
I think this guy has some potential! Seriously, as regards feeling, it is very subjective. I don't think he was mechanical at all. I thought he was letting the music breathe quite nicely. I must comment about the guitar: There should be monuments to Torres everywhere that the guitar is played! It is amazing to me that Torres could build a guitar that sounds this good and can still be played more than a century later.
This area is for comments... non biased comment, having a voice (to comment) I gave my honest 'opinion' of the interpretation. No doubt this guy is a virtuoso, but virtuosity NEEDS to also express FEELINGS, to me... this interpretation LACKS feeling.... as I mentioned, his bes (to me) was between 2:55 and 3:15. Sorry if you people only want to hear possitive comment... you can always delete mine and keep it a flawless list of censured comments. I have spoken. PEACE!
Sorry.... but I hear a 'bull in a china shop' phrasing on the first half and then an harmonious second half with a 'total lack of feeling' Thee instrument is a wonderful one... Best appreciated at 2:55 through 3:15 Constructive critiscism!!!
too much coloring, people who love and understand the guitar would say it is made and played by the sweat and love of the artists. This is a human achievement, not some forgotten god or angel.
Toca: de "Seis brevidades", 0:01 Feliz 1:15 Cantiga 3:15 Saltitante

Valseana is one of the most beautiful compositions in the guitar reportoire.

Teicholz is my fave of new generation its his sound!!
Hard to believe this guitar is 150 years old, great sound
I just wonder how much compression and other 'goodies' are added. It doesnt sound natural to me. But anyway for sure a great guitar.
this guitar has an awe inspiring sound. no mic can do it justice. to think its over a century old. great playing also!
Probably one of the greatest guitars ever built. The music and playing is wonderful as well!

What is the piece he is playing starting about 3:15 in?
Nope... I am the guy that plays Aranjuez (clip) Nice meeting you!
the first piece he plays is "Feliz"
Only friedrich detuned guitars salesman say that!!!
I would like to find something more beautiful than a guitar Torres to die of happiness.

Imagine dropping this guitar XD....You'd probably be murdered.I wouldn't even hold that guitar if someone offered me the chance. I'm clumsy.
lol. late replys. yeah i definetly changed after typing my comment. anyone can do anything if they work for it.
Two people should cut their ears off if they don't like this.
Stay away from my house.... and especially my guitars.
deberia abrir los ojos!!!el guitarrista
lol when people can't criticize technique, they criticize "feeling"
