Such a shame brother. Wild. Similar thing happened to my car. Walked out of the gym at night, had a smashed wing mirror. Someone had obviously punched my mirror or something along those lines. Not an expensive fix but annoying to not have a right side wing mirror 😅

I've always been a bit cautious parking my bike on the foot path in the city. If parking is available between car lanes in the middle of the road (where the motorcycle specific spots are available, is my prefferred such as on Russell and Exhibition streets).
I've had my motorcycle backed into while it was parked in a spot while at a KFC. The kid who backed into it excuse was 'sorry I don't have a reverse camera'... Are they not teaching new drivers to use their head checks these days? completely disheartening. Each cracked fairing cost me a couple hundred each, CBR300R for reference. Could save on labour since it's just a fairing/cowl that needs replacing, if you're handy with the tools.

Yeah I'm just keeping my eyes peeled for some second hand fairings as buying brand new is so $$$

@@gutterrashrides nah nah nah, was strangely the best thing for my bike, sold it honestly for a reasonable price. Kept the amount paid to me for the damages and upgraded. I held onto the 300 for way too long, 8 years.
