Facebook groups are super helpful and I have heard of some apps you can download that also show cruises and car shows! Also no we do not host any cruises. We participate in the River Valley Road Rally every year tho!
Earlier this year I had a friend crash on a car cruise. We had probably 100 cars, some absolutely flying, some people nust cruising, and then others racing. But he was one of the first people to leave and he was just cruising but when we came to the offramp and there was a lot of traffic we had to obviously slow down. But someone in a white BMW decided they wanted to try and take the exit going double the speed limit and caused the 3 cars in front of my friend to slam on the brakes and since he was the one in the very back he got screwed the most. He served off the road to avoid rear ending the guy in front of him and ended up barely bumping the guy's rear bumper in front of him. BMW left but my friends fender got super messed up. We spent around 45 minutes working on getting him out because a slammed car and a highway ditch is not a good combo. Luckily I have several friends there willing to help us if we needed anything. This was back in March I believe.
Tip from experience: If you're in a cruise with 2500+ vehicles in it, being plenty of water and WATCH YOUR TEMP GUAGES. I had no issues with overheating, but I saw PLENTY of people have to peel off and several I talked to cited overheating. Always keep an eye on your gauges in general, but especially when it takes you 2+ hours to get from Jackson Wisconsin to Slinger Wisconsin. Also, if you're driving a manual, be careful not to abuse your clutch too much (whoops)
If organizing a cruise it helps to break it up in to run groups with leaders leading each group.. easier to control 5 groups of 20 cars than it is to control 1 group of 100..... Plus.....when everyone gets on the road... Theyll speed up and slow down to whichever group theyre most comfortable in (i call it "natural selection") 🙃
In OzStraya very few car groups don't know how to organise a cruise, you have people who drive like total nuts, you have people who don't drive in formation everyone loses each other and then ends up going home, and alot of car cruise organisers don't tell you the entire plan of where we are going .the good thing is that they plan to stop at a petrol station on the way so we can re group, and just once I went on a cruise where there were a few bikes that were organisers of the group they would be riding in between group of say 10 cars an they would make sure everyone was altogether an if someone say got stuck at the lights or accident happened along the way ,we would all stop n wait and find out what the next move was ,it really makes the cruise much more fun when it's organised properly .
Just of of curiosity, whats with the don't turn left thing? I personally only cruise with very small groups (1-3 cars with occupants) so what ever it is doesn't really apply to me. Its seem strange to me as it would limit the options on the route. (also don't live in the US so maybe has something to do with that?)
Shit I just turn my music on and get lost never needed anyone to make me happy happiness is within. If you don't have a cruise worthy ride one simple answer. I used to live in Racine in Wisconsin. Do they still do those cruises down highway 100? I remember all weekend through the early 2000's it was always crammed full of exotics and all sorts
I know a couple of spots where there's big empty parking lots with office buildings. On the weekends around 12, they're dead. No traffic comes through. Thing is how do test your car without attracting the cops?
Know your class. A lot of cruises are open. When they hit the hills, people tend to group off. If you're bringing your Miata to an open "Euro" cruise, don't try to run with the exotics. Find a group of cars that perform within the same class. Nobody is impressed that you're hanging through (some) of the curves. Simply upgrading a turbo, headers, or springs doesn't change your Infinity into a Ferrari. Please, know your class and have fun in that group. Also, know the drivers and know yourself. Just because you've been champion on that video game for 3 years, you don't have the same driving skill as some of those guys who've been into performance driving for over 20 years. They'll probably give you some good tips and even let you follow them, but don't think you are as skilled as they are. Even if you were a stunt driver, you're not impressing us by endangering the lives of others and bringing unwanted attention from the local authorities. In other words, know your car, know yourself, and be humble. Coming from a higher end group, we like when younger drivers show up. We hate when younger drivers show off.
My first car was a mazda 6 with 170hp And i did notever crash it. But that was also thanks to my employer who ordered the ehole facory a driving saftey lession where we went to a specialised racing course where you experience all kinds of shit like aquaplaning and drifting and parcours so you really get a feel for your car in all kinds of situations. It was truly amazing
Recently been to a cruise I can confirm the experience part. 1. The people supposedly running the show aren't locals and know diddly yeehaw about the routes and spots to be. 2. The supposed crew were telling people to not go in one line, obviously everyone WILL go the same line anyway, don't tell em that shit. 3. The leader was frequently in the middle of the line. 4. The locations were given an hour before the not-a-line-line was supposed to haul ass there. 5. The cruise ends after 2 stops. Better than nothing but eehhh...? Also this was a meetup of over 200 cars.

Bro what have you done with your hair?😂😂 but nice video keep going like this
Love your videos!
Can a diesel truck go on the cruise to? I wanna go 😭
Tip from experience:
If you're in a cruise with 2500+ vehicles in it, being plenty of water and WATCH YOUR TEMP GUAGES.
2500 Vehicles????
If organizing a cruise it helps to break it up in to run groups with leaders leading each group.. easier to control 5 groups of 20 cars than it is to control 1 group of 100..... Plus.....when everyone gets on the road... Theyll speed up and slow down to whichever group theyre most comfortable in (i call it "natural selection") 🙃
the ultra crew really do have some of the coolest cruises
I went on one cruise.
Everyone of us cuised to different businesses with the last stop being a dragstrip.
Obviously the best car ever!
sad that we don't have this kind of car meets in germany
Be the change you want to see!
Don’t ride bumper to bumper. Keep a decent car length between everyone
Are you guys able to do "so you want an is300" video? Id be able to answer questions to help
Number one question, where do I find a clean untouched is300 in Wisconsin for let than 15k?
@@OldManShoutsAtClouds not gonna be able to probably, all have high miles
ryan day lol got mines with 220k miles check, engine light, and shit tires for 4K. Clean title tho
@@DavidHernandez-kl1jl im at 170k with no issues and clean
James T manual or auto?
Just basically it was about the fact that at shows turning left is very hard with cross traffic and stuff!
When you live in an area without meets and you also don't have a cruise worthy ride :'((
Ride with a homie! That's almost better in my opinion you just chill the whole time 😂
Shit I just turn my music on and get lost never needed anyone to make me happy happiness is within. If you don't have a cruise worthy ride one simple answer. Stereo system a bumpin ass stereo in a saturn ion with suicide doors is the pure definition of uncool uncruisworthy car but I got a 1000 watt slab amp and 12s in the back and all of a sudden people come talk to me. Bassheads is a type of car scene too bro
do yall have any recommendations for walkie talkies? preferably around 6-8 pack. i also saw a baofeng 6 pack for $50, but i read some forums and seeing how we would need licenses? appreciate any help!
I just want my frs to be low and SLOW, it slides so I'm happy.
I need the low static and that meaty fitment industries stance.
94° average temp, 60% humidity, trust me southern summers are hell
Zello Is dope. I recommend everyone to get it
If u reacently did a fix or a upgrade to ur car make sure you did it right test drive it drive it around for atleast a week last thing a crusie needs is someone car breaking down cuz they didnt double check there work and did it wrong
I went to Milwaukee this week (from Central Iowa) to get a new hood for my car! Was hoping to stop by you guys shop, but didn't have time :(
Thanks for thinking of us at least! 🙏🏼
@3:37 lol you must not have ever been to a Chicago meet 🤣😂
For me a cruise is going on a drive In the hills, then freeway, then city, yk push the limits a little ;)
Outback steakhouse is just a step up from the olive garden lol. Just a corporate eatery, NOT fine dining. But to the average bear it is special XD
Have a cb radio with you, you can get a hand held at truck stops for under $100 and it’s the easiest way to communicate with other people and whatever you do, don’t chat away on channel 9.
What’s the difference between a cruise and a road rally?
Cruise is more chill in my opinion where road rally is a competitive cruise we will say😂
Did I just saw that car split in half at 2:00? I played back over 5 times so I could have a closer look
Can you do a video on should you modify luxury cars
Going on my first car cruise tomorrow hehe
Solid man.
Hay Alex. Is BMW 318i 2001 worth to buy for tuning? And also thanks for the video
Don’t do it fam
Not worth it
Ok thanks.
Great content as always but can you please make an MR2 video
My first car was a mazda 6 with 170hp
And i did notever crash it. But that was also thanks to my employer who ordered the ehole facory a driving saftey lession where we went to a specialised racing course where you experience all kinds of shit like aquaplaning and drifting and parcours so you really get a feel for your car in all kinds of situations. It was truly amazing
I never heard of this but now I want to do it.
Christian Wertti hmmm were u in the ice cream cruise?
