I have been watching your channel for about a month now. Looking to move to KC from Florida. I came in 2016 for a few days during December…it wasn’t bad. Then I came with my father in April for the NFL draft and KC just felt like home to me. More so than I have ever felt in FL (and I’m a FL native). We stayed at an Airbnb in Brookside…and I fell in ❤. McClaine’s bakery…yummy! Lol😊 We are big Chiefs fans!
Hi @lifewithlashaie383! Apologies for not seeing this sooner! I’ve been moving myself these past couple weeks. We’d love to assist you in your move to KC. Shoot me a text 720-270-6649 or an email info@movingtokc.net and let’s connect!
Interesting. I moved to Florida from NYC and 10 years ago. And i have the same feeling- never felt like home. but then I'm a transplant and it's hard to replicate nyc plus friends and family. I'm visiting next week to check out the area myself. Peace.
I just came back to Maryland/DC yesterday from a 3 day trip sponsored by a prospective employee. I accepted the job and will be moving out there in the next 3 weeks. I'm excited to see a new part of the country, excited that I'm moving there well in advance of the World Cup and will hopefully by a place in the next year or less. I can't wait to call Kansas City my home.... The only problem I see is that it's full of chiefs fans and I'm a Patriots fan.... But that Midwestern charm will rub off on me and will be a good time either way.
Congratulations on your new career opportunity @derekinhawaii !! KC is a very welcoming place (even for Patriots fans). I’m sure it won’t take long for our hospitality to rub off on you! Welcome and let me know if there’s anything I can do to assist you in your transition 🙌🏼
Thanks for the video. Yeah when the Blue Valley area blew up twenty years ago I had no idea so many would move there. Great ranking, my favorite River market and west downtown around quality hill near the old Folgers coffee mill.
I wish they would explain exactly what criteria they used to rate these places. It wasn't even a year ago where over 20 people were gunned down right in front of Union Station and another 4 or 5 at Crown Center but this is supposed to be one of the best places to live in the city?
Great info! I work from home but my son with life challenges works at Walmart and does not drive. We want to be close to downtown KC, any suggestions? Thank you!
😂😂😂😂 ✊🏾 FACTS!!!!! But frfr I been seeing WAYYYYY more white people in the “HOOD” these Neanderthal european caveman are trying to make it back a lNEIGHBORHOOD” gentrification IS REAL & HAPPENING all the nuggahs moving to the suburbs NKC area like Gladstone liberty or south in belton raymore! 💯✊🏾
Actually, these incorporated townships are both. In providing a video about best neighborhoods, it wouldn't be accurate to leave out the separately incorporated towns. I'm thinking that most people watching this channel are looking where to move in the KCA Metro Area, which includes numerous towns and neighborhoods.

River market has a certain people living there not fully intergrated. I dont what kansas city you are describing here ive been here 1964 and nothing other the river market sounds famaliar. They must have rezoned without most of the citizens knowledge.
I'm glad to hear that the city's vibrant Mexican 🇲🇽 community played a significant role in helping you meet your wife. It's wonderful how diverse communities can bring people together in meaningful ways right?

so far the list is pretty good i live around UMKC myslef
Brookside or South Plaza?
The River Market is called the River Quay pronounced Key by long term residence. Or the North End. The old Italian neighborhood.
The old MOBSTER GANGSTER neighborhood 🔫

Nice video, well done!
Thanks for watching!
Okayyyy I'll be there soon and see you around Sir
Awesome! Moving to or just visiting?

Thank you!
Hi Peggy! The closest Walmart to downtown KC is in Roeland Park, KS. Are you looking to lease or purchase something?
39th and prospect should be 1#

No. 35th and Prospect is better!
Fun fact: Prairie Village is referred to as Perfect Village. The reason for this? Chuck Norris actually lived there when he was a child.

Overland Park, Lee's Summit, Prairie Village are not 'neighborhoods' in Kansas City, they are completely different cities.
Damn AI for not knowing that 🤣
