1. the bus line is free making ridekc garbage. 2. PLEASE STAY OUT OF NORTHEAST! its a hot spot, poor community riddled by drugs and murders and moving these people into our community is raising the rent. the cops will not come either. its not going to change and we dont care to have it change either. 2015 my rent was 475, today good luck finding something less than 1,000. 3. the hoods are not welcoming to outsiders and they make it known. do you tell your buyers how we love our guns and the 911 dispatcher put you on hold? how police will not come? do you know how many murders go UNREPORTED?? what the hood sees when there are outsiders move in, shopping day is coming soon. quit trying to revamp our communites. we are doing just fine without outsiders.

i love kc, its my home. i live in the hood because thats what i can afford. the influx of new residents is making it hard for us locals. especially in northeast. there are people moving there because of the historic houses not realizing its hot there. i dont like new people moving here. and also dont complain when you come down here and your car is broken into especially by sprint center. if you park near the jungle thats on you. keep kc local and keep black rock out! they really need to quit going in to poor neighborhoods trying to flip old apartment buildings. especially when they are trying to charge almost 2000$ for an apartment on troost and armour. kcpd does not care about it either. they care more about the funding thats lining their pockets.

I just moved back here from Dallas....Buccees is definitely good for the city. For sure. Granted it's not next to a subdivision or creating traffic issues. (Witness multiple personally in Denton, Austin, Waco) HUGE bonus if done right...the quick BBQ beef is worthy! DEFINITELY APPRECIATE BEING "IN THE KNOW".....I thank you, sir!

KC is growing and growing. As a Saint Louisan, I am extremely jealous.

Moved from Overland Park to Illinois five years ago. Grocery costs is about the same but my property taxes are higher here. I don’t pay State Income tax on my retirement income though. Crime was lower in OPKS than it is here. If I were to move anywhere in the future, it would be back to OPKS.

I met Mayor Q at the Teamsters Local 41 stewards Christmas party. Nice guy! The Xmas party was at a casino and being the socially inept guy I am I remember asking "So, plan on doing any gambling while you're here, want to win big?" Buc-ee's is NOT a trucker friendly stop and thats a shame. They dont want truckers to stop at their place and they made it to where big rigs have noplace to park. They discriminate against truck drivers, they are not welcome!

Kyle Talbot I have some questions: Any email I could contact, need of advice nothing is free.. my husband used to live in KC ( did for years) We live in Springfield, Mo., now I want to move back sooo worried about being the wrong season, my husband is battling cancer now in pancreas, same time my moving home worst decision EVER made.. 2840 S Ranch Dr. Springfield, Mo 65809 We live VERY nice subdivision ( I didn’t choose to buy long story family pressure, but Patio Home is custom High end finishes etc.. we’ve paid off our mortgage, but this move is harfest time in my life ( long story) I don’t want to rent we are now on his DOJ pension hes Little older I am ( retirement savings is gone ability to have invested 0:02 due to family member) Is there any type of quick sale without I’m miserable but NOT selling under paid off mortgage we will pay for house in KC in cash .. seems like I have some things made but I’m just depressed overwhelmed, etc .. reason hate our house .. is very nice patio home! I hate it and living here, Bill wants for he passes to reconnect with his grown kids.. I JUST WANT TO NAB A HOME THAT I LIKE ALL POSSIBLE ( season) cute little houses, that KC life.. Realtors DONT help with questions or ideas

Interesting to see what's going on at Country Club Plaza. Was there a couple of months ago when visiting family. Always loved the Plaza but was rather shocked this last visit. Place seemed dead, a number of vacancies, and my Mom told me that she had heard stories of increase in crime. Only good thing about that visit was Shake Shack. Since the first thing you mentioned about the Plaza was security, I'm assuming the stories about increase in crime is true. Very sad. Hopefully the developers can turn things around.

Brookside/ Waldo, Plaza, Westport & Midtown, Crown Center are being over run with property & auto theft often resulting in gun violence. Outside Jackson county are safer options. Winter - 6” snow will shut this city down, could be 1 day or a few days. Snow removal & road winter treatment is a toss up. Unless you work from home winter months can be challenging. KC is consistently top 10 for violence #6 Auto theft. If considering a move to the KC area, choose wisely.

There was a murder in Waldo the other day and a well known Brookside chef was killed outside his house taking out the trash.

Ah yes , the Kansas suburbs. In KC suburbs means more jobs, higher density , less single family housing, larger economy and way way less crime.

Prairie Village was created for white people starting families after WW2. It was nicknamed "pregnant village" because of all the pregnant wives who lived there.
