Korg DS-10 Plus is the version to get. It allows two instances for a total of 8 tracks. You can get clever and make chords with it. You can make drum sounds from scratch that pass as 808/909 sounds etc. You can record your live performance into the tracks. Dope enough I thought about doing some tedious multi-track recording of the stuff I made on it
DS-10 Plus needs the DSi or later to take advantage of that (I got a 3DS XL for that reason). Korg Gadget does have its limitations on the Switch vs an iPad (50 scenes per song, 100 songs max) but the sound is out of this world.
This is the first time I've not played the game in question before Emily has remade the music, and I'm pretty sure if I went on and heard the actual game music, I'd now be disappointed that it's not Emily's version 😂

Korg Gadget is no Ableton, but I use a Korg midi keyboard, an iPad, & Gadget to make music. Gadget doesn’t have every bell or whistle, but it’s got enough to get rolling w/, esp if you’re a beginner. (& I am. Haha..)

Have you heard of the Eterna from Mr. Black? It's a reverb with a 2 octave boost, and from what I have heard of it, it sounds really good
