      You are so welcome! I was watching Beth Wallen, I think that’s her name and she used it! Then I seen Nik the Booksmith do one, so I decided to try it the the inks I have and I love it🥰

    Thank you so much, Tonya! I have been looking all over for a simple & straight forward approach to this aged tape idea! I’ve probably watched 10 other videos & several are way too difficult or have way too many instructions! I realize this is at least 2 years old, are you still making videos? I just ordered the brown alcohol inks by Tim on Amazon & they’ll be here in a day or so! I’m just thrilled to be able to make some aged tape soon! I hope you will have a wonderful year! Erica❤

    Excellent work Tonya! I’m wondering... when you peel it up to use, do you just use it as-is, or do you add a bit of glue before putting the newly aged tape where you want it to stay? If so, what type of glue do you use?

    I made two batches of old tape and I was surprised how fast it dried. I thought it might be an overnight thing. I've seen tape like this in journals and wondered how they got that. I didn't realize you could make old tape, so thank you for making this video!

    Your books are incredible and I am so inspired by your work! Thank you for blessing us by sharing your gifts here. I am very new to journals & alcohol inks. Can something like Tim Holtz distress spray stain or Dylusions ink spray be used for this tape method?

      Thank you so much! And you are so welcome💕 I don’t know about the distress spray or the dylusions ink, I have only tried the alcohol inks. Sorry I couldn’t be more help😉

      The ink sprays you mentioned are water based and unfortunately will not dry properly and will rub off easily on a non porous surface like this tape. On a non porous surface it needs to be an alcohol based ink to dry properly and remain permanent:)

    Does the ink, after it dries, smear if it gets wet or from the oils on the fingers?
