IF THE LINKS AREN'T WORKING for any reason on google chrome, first try a different web Brower, like the default Microsoft edge, or mac's safari. If that doesn't work, then right click on the button(s) and press open in new window, and refresh the page! Ti-Wizard is weird!

for ti-84 plus calculators, the ce verison of ti connect worked to transfer mirage os instead of the legacy verison

Will it work if I just used a generic mini usb cable? Or do I need to use the one in your description?
Do you have to have a ti brand micro usb cord. I tried using a random micro usb cord I found but when I tried to connect my calculator to ti connect it wouldn’t show up. What’s weird is my computer made a sound that indicated the calculator was connected to the laptop but when I looked for it in ti connect it would find my calculator. Also do you have to have the other wire because I don’t have one.

What do I look for when I want to find a calculator cord? My ti84+ has a JH intake hole and a double JH cord, but my computer doesn’t take JH. I don’t see much for a usb-JH converter, is there something specific to Texas instruments
The usb port in the calculator is pretty outdated and rare. It’s called mini-usb. www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6471832.p?skuId=6471832

When my computer is transferring files it doesn't have that green bar thing and takes a really long time to transfer all the files, and my calculator screen freezes during the transfer and I have to take the battery out and put it back in

I had gotten the Ti-83+ calculator from a friend and it came with a cord that looks like it has an aux on both sides. Is there a way I can connect it to my computer because I can't find an adapter for it

TI recommends the CE software. is there a reason you're using the legacy TI connect software?

Hey i cant find the game i want in my downloads, like its in the computer downloads but not in the files i go through ti connect. How do i get it there?

If the games don't download that you want, right-click and select open in new window. Then hit refresh.

Getting ready for school this year and need calculator games but when I try to download mirage it says it cant download securely. how do i make it work?
I had the same problem and on the right it should have three dots. After clicking it press keep and a warning appears but you can bypass it.

sometimes when i download a game it doesn't go to mirage os. it just goes to programs and when I try to run it it gives an error. Help?
If you haven't figured it out yet, some games are sadly not compatible is mirageos. You need to use the ASM( command. Watch my flappy bird video on how to do that! ua-cam.com/video/zg3BXFdh7M8/v-deo.html
When I select my Ti-83 on the transfer the software freezes and stops working
I get all the way to transferring the files and it will attempt or look like it is attempting and eventually go with program not responding or transfer failed. The screen also goes blank on my calculator and the only way to get it to turn back on is to take the batteries out and put them back in. Am I the only one with this issue or has someone else had this problem. Any suggestions?
Replace batteries maybe? I’ll put a link in the description soon for troubleshooting

So I got the cord, it is starting to work, but when I tried to transfer MirageOS, it said the connect TI device memory is full. Can you help? For extra information my Archive available is 9,379.
Delete some apps. That is a very low number for archive!

do i need to get the graphalink cable, or could i use a 2.5 mm jack to usb?
You would need a graph link cable because it needs a specific circuit structure, unless you follow the schematic for the PCB of the graph link cable structure, which will let you use the 2.5mm jack to USB.

I found a solution!
Right click the Download for TI-83+/TI-84+ button and open it in a new tab.
Then refresh the new tab and it’ll download!

I would say you can try to watch my ti-84 plus doom 2023 video, but you can download a different game besides doom if you need.

But there is no mini USB port on my calculator, the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition.
You will need a ti-83 cord that plugs into the bottom. They cost about $20 at any electronics store or online. Let me know if you need any more help!

What if your calculator is connected using an audio jack cable?
I tried that before, and it doesn’t work sadly. The small hole in the calculator is called a ti-83 I/O port.

I cant download anything on tiwizard, also when I download a game (from another site) the only game that mirageos will recognize is doom 😭

If it fits in the calculator slot, and a file transfer goes through, the yes. There’s no way to tell unless you test it. Shopping for a cord can be tricky, but here is a good link: a.co/d/adbK2cs

Make sure you are admin, and your antivirus software is not blocking the download. Also make sure you are using windows or mac.

Google chrome is weird sadly, so either use a different web browser, or open the links in a new tab by right clicking on the buttons!

Whenever I open mirage it freezes
Try using a different web browser to download MirageOS, or reset your calculator if you are willing to do so!
My calculator shuts off when u click”send to device”
That is completely normal! Your calculator is fine, as long as your computer doesn't give you an error!

I found a way to download it though, but then it kept failing when I tried to send the file over to the calculator. It kept saying “transfer failed. Retrying may succeed” or something of those sorts
If you haven't figured it out yet, I have an updated video on that. My tutorial on downloading doom has a very similar concept.
Downloading it is for nerds I perfer coding doom by hand
ti connect is unbeleivably cruel when sending files

They use a programming language called Z80.
