MPC 2500 vs. 4-Track Cassette Tape Day.02

So this is my 2nd day in my new little studio sandbox/toy room where I'll be playing around and testing out rhythms and ideas that pop into my head. I'll also be recording everything to #tascam multi-track cassette tape. Sometimes 2-track analog. Today I'm still on the #Akai MPC 2500 drum machine.

After thousands of hours of used, my MKII became so worn out that I just got another - I couldn't live without one.
Save yourself the headaches and forget about DBX. It prevents tape saturation, which I personally love. Also, there's a big advantage using type II cassettes but only the old ones. The brand new ones are manufactured differently under newer environmental regulation and they cause more hiss than even old type I cassettes.

Great groove….love the Compression, Saturation and Eq, very powerful combo. The MPC 2500, has got that industrial weight to sizzle the tape. Nice Man.
