How would you correct if your player is peaking too early before the season? Scaling back and then re-upping once closer to beginning of season?

What do you recommend for a player that is newly recovered from an injury, but lacks fitness in-season?
Also mate, regarding your question, my personal response would be that you shouldn’t be rushed back into games, it’s a risk of getting injured again, I’d say stick to team training, individual sessions, and get your fitness back up before playing bro. Goodluck!
