The "Carnage" ability is so visually pleasing, they really nailed that ability, I actually think its one of the most impressive visuals in the whole game in my opinion, its effect on the combat makes quite the impact as well, all powerful AoE moves in saga frontier by enemies are really impactful though since healing up isn't so easy in most cases.
As a kid, when I finally struggled my way to the end of this run, and found this guy waiting for me, the techno/rock blended music kicking in, and then him opening with Carnage, the words NO FUTURE flashing across the screen, and then that amazing laser show (Basically it showing off, rebounding each shot multiple times and still hitting their targets), then most of my party being dead, I realized just how epic this fight was going to be. And how sooooo badly I was NOT ready for it. And that was a defining moment, I promise you lol
I heard that people complained about the name Genocide Heart, but that's crap. Genocide Heart is a way more menacing name. You don't want to mess with something called Genocide Heart... but what's the Heretical Heart going to do if you make it mad? Tell you that it disagrees with your religious beliefs? :p
It’s arguably the best body type (probably not even “arguably”). Which is a shame, I would like it if SF had room for different strategies you could build the other body types around. PluralSlash is just so good that anything else is irrelevant.
They kinda made his AI a little weaker in this version. In the original, where he took you depended on the damage. Usually if you hit him hard to being with he'd take you to the desert and then use Magnetic Storm on the second round to finish you off. He still looks pretty tough even now. One of my favorite battles in the game, especially if you had a mech with Satellite Linker. It didn't do too much extra damage but lasted the ENTIRE battle instead of the bit system.

First experience with that attack I really believed I had N O F U T U R E. 🤣

I originally fell in love with this game because of the visuals for FlashFire.

I can't believe they changed the name, this was the coolest boss in video game history!
Always nice to see someone using T260G's original body instead of the [final] one.
Not only that but to bring a team of basically all human too, which can be suicide given Carnage's instant death effect to biological life.

Funny how KO'd characters still get up to move around during a phase change.
Geez, if you can do that just get up for real!
Vampire Survivor fans, your time stamp is 5:54
0:34 I wonder if that’s a reference to Shadowrun.
