That was literally my little brother at the age of 8 with the Wii. He went from full body force wild arm swinging to lazily lying there like a couch potato while flicking the remotes.
For quick slices, definitely. But you get a bigger score for doing a wider slice, so if you've got a lone block coming up, using your arm is a good call!
Just stumbled on your guys's channel by accident and then proceeded to binge watch all your videos! You guys make some amazing high quality content and I love the different perspective from the "date night" videos as well! Can't wait to see more of your adventures in the future!😊
The level of immersion she puts herself in is honestly impressive. The whole lore talk of Bloodborne and now vanquishing the invisible blocks during car rides. So adorable!
Dude same with me. Vr just has a way of bleeding through to reality, after finishing Half Life: Alyx I was still flicking my hand at things I wanted to pick up for like a month, I also do the beat saber hand thing when I play it for a couple days at a time.
Stumbled onto your channel through a random youtube recommendation for your elden ring vid and just wanna say you guys are great and have awesome production quality
Awesome :D Given how she likes to improvise dance move, I think she will absolutely love Audiotrip, which is my favorite rythm game in VR and tends to promote cool moves more than beat saber or synthrider. The only downside is that there is less songs, even if you can download custom ones.
I didn't know ya'll covered VR too!!! Dude ya'll are so awesome and honestly gamer relationship goals, love ya'll channel and wait to be here when you hit 100k 😁
So, what's going to happen when Elden Ring comes out? Would be amazing to see you both struggling in a game (though one of you a bit more than the other)
I fully respect you guys wanting to maintain your privacy, but could you guys do a comparison montage where we switch between your's and Tarny's avatars playing beat saber?
If you are still interested: I can confirm that, yes! It can be a great work-out. For health reasons I decided to play Beat Saber on all of my day-offs (is that a word?). It's a playlist with about 14 songs. The first days I struggled really hard to play more than two, or one of the more difficult ones, without taking a break. Now, about two months later, I play it all the way through without stopping. Half of them are played on expert now instead of hard. The game even becomes much more fun the better you become, which keeps you motivated. So in short: If you are looking for a cardio work-out that's fun, I highly recommend it. Oh yeah, I slowly started to dance, too. It's so much fun!!!
Moving around a lot, putting my whole body into it and swinging my arms all around is ultimately what made me have to quit Beat Saber for years to recover. It absolutely screwed over my shoulders once I was getting into harder songs and they took a long time to heal, still not perfect. Your body just isn't built to constantly be flailing your arms all around at those speeds. But I also don't wanna just stand there and flick my wrists around, it feels lame lmao
If the band is tight enough so the watch/monitor isn't lifting off your wrist, it's fine. They work off infrared light passing through your skin, and if they come off the skin that lets ambient light bleed in and affect the reading. Same thing happens with running if the band isn't tight enough. I've tested this with both a Garmin and Apple Watch with a chest strap and sure they're not 100% in sync (never are) but they're not wildly off, either. 10-20 bps variance tops, so as long as the wrist monitor itself isn't junk, you should be fine, just tighten the band a notch or two as needed. Edit: I should say I tested this specifically while playing VR, Beat Saber, Audio Trip, Synth Riders, and Ragnarock.
@@8BitCerberus Modern GPS watches use motion to improve accuracy. It gives them context. I tested it too, with a tightened WHOOP Strap 2.0, which has excellent accuracy for a wrist-based monitor. Allegedly, an hour of Beat Saber was more strenuous than an hour of intervals on the bike or 1.5 hours of steady-state running, even though I didn't even feel winded at all. My Coros Pace 2 said the same thing. Again, wrong. I know my body, and I'm intimately familiar with what Zones 4 and 5 feel like it. That wasn't it.
I remember when I first got a VR headset the first game I played was Super Hot. I handed over the headset to my dad so he could try and he immediately socked me in the jaw
"I wasn't punching you, I was hitting you (while holding a VR controller while playing Beat Saber and wearing a VR helmet so I didn't see what I was doing). Baby, you're not punched." Since AH likes to inspire herself with events borrowed from other people, that could be her next line of defense in the JD-AH trial next week. :D

@@meapyboy12345 look at the first video
The key to Beat Saber is realising "Shit I don't have to swing my entire arm"
It's all in the wrist.

If you aren't moving your entire arm, and doing unnecessary dancy movements you ain't really playing beat saber.
That's so boring though...and also a great way to injure yourself

Wish we could see her elaborate dance sessions. Though, we understand the whole identity stuffs. Keep on having fun guys.

Ah yes the symptoms of a rhythm gamer, when you start to subconsciously play a song that isn't in the game but you can imagine what it's like anyways.
Literally binge watched the majority of your videos. All of them are awesome
SHE BEAT BLOODBORNE?? Brother pls don’t let her go…
Couple goals! You guys are so sweet and fun to watch, amazing content

That's gonna be a real treat! We both can't wait for Elden Ring xD He's gonna be just as lost as I am haha
2:29 I had my mom play gorn and she almost broke the monitor. I almost got hit in the face too. Still a funny thing to see her play that though.

What a gem of a channel

Definitely try Synth Riders! I play it with 2 lb wrist weights on. It's AMAZING!
3:57 I’m a bit concerned how into “MTC” she seems to be.
Great content as always :)
Thank you!! :)
Next episode: I threw my girlfriend into the radius
But for real that would absolutely terrify her
What about Pistol Whip?
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Another Rythm VR game that is arguably easier than Beatsaber..
Just a thought, great video as always! 😁
haha yes the community clip, every time I beat a level in VR now I yell "JESUS WEEEEEEPT!"
Man I love seeing this one, and vr games are really good no matter the channel
I always found it works better for me if I dance while playing this game. The more tired I get, the harder I dance or I won't succeed.
Bro is just flexin’ his gf lol.
I just want to know If she ever beat the Funni reality Check through the skull

Tip about Beat Saber: the heartrate readings from wrist-based monitors aren't accurate. The wild flailing of your arms confuses it.

you should see if you wants to play into the radius i would be so fun to watch.
Was she playing MTC by s3rl
I'm not a dancer AT ALL IRL, but when I play a song I like in Beat Saber, I find myself dancing while playing! 😂
this is extremely cutee
4:00 Hm interesting song choice
PLEASE what is the name of that song at 4:36 ??
You guys should play Syth Riders, its far better a then beat saber if you want a VR dancing game
Oh 100%! I've completely replaced Beat Saber with Synth rider.
I always dance in rytmic games.
I need to play more beat saber
I remember when I first got a VR headset the first game I played was Super Hot. I handed over the headset to my dad so he could try and he immediately socked me in the jaw
I must be one of the lucky ones, i can't get motion sick in VR, i've tried.
Smh. missed this video before, but because I saw u had a nier avatar, are u planning on making her play nier at some point? Its such an amazing game.
Ah, I hear a s3rl track mixed in there :p
He advertises his tracks on beat saber as well :)
Ofc she's gotta do abandon ship 👌 subnautica has so many good songs
The tetris effect of vr…
Except not actually vr Tetris effect
YES You got CC!!
i have a question 1 what version of beat saber do you use for mods and 2 what is the name of the mod for avatars
