I feel like so many people struggle with Ghost (including me) because it isn't as well mapped as the more recent songs. It's kind of accidental artificial difficulty.

@@FINALBLENDERMAN It is a pretty outdated way of mapping. Compare Ghost to OST VI or even OST V and you'll see a major difference in the way the devs map things. Playing custom songs is even worse because there were well mapped custom songs even when OST III was the most recent OST.

I just beat Tempo-Katana three times in a row, but then I try Ghost and I decide that this monstrosity is indeed still the hardest song in the game

@@sonic_enjoyer Yup, but my argument is that the mapping is way better on like tempo katana and power of the sager blade, and therefore songs such as ghost and final boss chan are harder overall. I find those to be way harder than the newer songs, but I guess it’s up to preference
Building on this, just beat Ghost (for the first time) and I still stand no chance on Saber Blade, so I guess my point is kinda invalid

I don't know if you have ever gotten this advice, from looking at your hands i could recommend using your wrists more, you can minimise arm movements and keep strength/stamina more, even when you're not panicking. You've gotten farther than most people, with wrist you can perform smaller swings and get the same amount of accuracy. When you do this you can move over to modded songs around 8 stars in difficulty if done right, its all up to preference but it will help you improve a lot. (if people ask who i am to say this im top 3k on scoresaber)

I remember doing one saber cycle hit after fencing and I still can't believe I pushed through the pain my arm was in at that moment to beat cycle hit
Getting rid of the 19 second long nothing beginning and averaging out the rest makes it almost 9.5 notes per second

Even before OST volume 6 came out, I still think that final boss chan and the $100 bills remix are harder. It might just be me, though, since it took me just over a year to beat ghost. 3 years though, that is true dedication.

The NPS isn't my problem. The fastest I've beaten is 12 NPS. With Ghost, it's the mapping. It trips me up without fail every single time I try.
