This is a fairly straight up cover. For me the best cover versions are the ones I don't expect or understand. (Not that I don't like this... I do). Try listening to The Rolling Stones Tell Me (then the Dead Boys version). Try The Rolling Stones Satisfaction (then Devo), Bob Dylan All Along The Watchtower (then Hendrix). You might not like the originals or even the covers but a great cover discovers something in the song that wasn't there before..... At least in my mind. That is where my mind is!
