That would actually make a pretty good series. I have a buddy who did it last summer on a street glide. He did 1000 miles a day and circled the whole country. It can be "The Definitive; Are Harleys Dependable Series."

I mean I'm 18 and ride a sport bike and I love the look of baggers and would love to own a cruiser of any kind really. It's a bike thing you can never be content with just one type.

I currently ride a Harley Forty Eight Sportster (1200cc). It's light, quick, comfortable, and look great. Feel like I get the best of both worlds with it, while still at an affordable price. Although, if I had the money... I'd have a Sportbike AND a bigger Harley for longer rides (Street Glide maybe?).
Yamaha v stars are super cheap and extremely comfortable. The 1100 is great but the 650 is almost as good for even less money
Check out PDX Cycles. You can pick up a bagger that's been down with all the motor work done with next to nothing. You can get something for 4k and put a grand into it and give you a 8-9k bike.
I don't care if it's a sports bike or not. as long as it's 2 maybe 3 wheels and an engine I'm fine

many sportbike riders (including myself) talk crap about Harleys, because it's become "the thing to do" lol. however, many of us sportbike riders have that same secret love that you do Dan because long rides are uncomfortable as fuk on sportbikes. I'm looking at getting one because sport bikes have taken their toll on my thumb (I can't feel it anymore lmfao)
Alex Skomra it is a two way path. Most Harley riders secretly love some things about the sports bikes too. Like the crazy fun acceleration.
Pro SQUID! I am a Harley guy but if I could I would own a Ducati diavel,Yamaha r1 or BMW s1000rr but I like Harley because it's a bike that you don't outgrow like a crotch rocket. Plus Harley are simple bikes easy to customize

i've really been thinking hard about a big bike, a nice electra-glide i can take the top-box and passenger backrest etc off, and still have a classic 2-up longer distance ride. i'm 64. i ride a 2018 softtail slim and love it. after watching this i'm more excited to find and tweek a bike than ever. if this isn't the greatest show & tell of what we all love about motorcycles and riding i don't know what is. thanks dan.

I never gave Harley Davidson a single thought, love nor hate. But I have ridden my whole life. So when my wife came down with cancer, I bought an electraglide, so that we could do a little riding together. In the past she wanted to go but didn't want to be on a sport bike.
All of that aside, I love that bike, it rejuvenates and me its pure joy to ride. I wish I had bought one 20 years ago. The best part is that you can bring stuff with you, extra clothing, food, beer etc.
I absolutely can relate to your enthusiasm in the video its the same way I feel. And lastly the wife is doing very well now, the chemo is working and everything is looking good, praise jesus.

Just got my first Electra glide ultra classic and it’s been the best Harley riding experience I’ve had so far. Been riding over 20 years now. I thought I’d miss my fatboy, but I don’t at all. Everyone should test ride one.

Brigman yes they are massive, but ride one of these newer ones, they have changed a lot on them making them feel super light. They are very well balanced and a smooth ride, and yes Dan please do ride a Honda f6b or Valkyrie next!

I've had the urge to get the Vulcan S in all Flat Black since they came out. I just love the look and functionality. They aren't the most powerful but it would be a really fun and peppy commuter. 2017 has an all flat black model again and i'm really considering adding one to the garage to go along with my 636 :) I don't hate on any kinds of bikes. Different taste, Same passion. And if you base your life off of trying to please other people you are living life wrong my dude. Buy what you want and ride what you want. I'll watch your vids no matter what bike you are straddling! Keep up the good work homie!

Never cared for Harleys until maybe 5 years ago-and I am an old guy. But, like a classic Chevy, Harleys have so much history and are American made, just like a Chevy. Plus that rumble is so satisfying. I finally understood the appeal of Harleys when I rode one. I get it now.
Trying to pick up a 2008 Yamaha V Star 650 classic over summer as my first bike. Obviously not the wisest choice for a beginner as I'm 16 but I got an offer that I just couldn't refuse. $700 with only a couple thousand miles and runs smooth. If worst things come to worst. I can flip the bike, sell it for $2,000 to $3,000 and get a V Star 250 (I would prefer a Yamaha as a first bike due to low maintenance.) but I definitely prefer the cruiser style and comfort but I can still respect motards and sport bikes along with anything else on two wheels.
You'll get bored on that 650 real quick; then you'll want a motorcycle that's faster, handles better, has better brakes, better tires.

Dan the Harley's can be pigs. If you lower the front a couple inches and instal air ride in the rear they are a hell of a comfortable cruise and can adjust to your baby legs like I have love the vids dan!!

I would definitely watch videos on a cruiser, even tho I'm 13 I do see the appeal in cruisers. Like you I love the brutally loud crackling sound of V-twins😂😂and the way the bags and rear fender curve and just make that irresistible line that you can't help but love😂😂😂😂😂and pinstriping on the outline of the bags and fenders and tank looks amazing if done well

My mom has a police edition bagger and its amazing, i would love to see more videos like this, thats something chase on 2 wheels dosent do, he dosent do cruisers that much, he does more sport bikes than anything. I want to see more cruisers and baggers. Also this is your channel, do what ever the hell you want to do, your true fans and dick heads, will always be there to support and back you up. I have been a sport bike rider my whole life. From CBR600F2 to ZX7R to GSXR750 and CBR1000RR but now I'm on 50s and this baggers are calling me for nice long chill trips. Almost got into a Kawasaki Vulcan vaquero. They great looking ride. Aging and gaining experience its a factor for real.
Dude never say you're to young to love baggers! My old man has an 03 road king, got a cold air intake, true dual Vance & Hines and got a programmer hooked up to it. That's the first bike I've ever drove, and I'm 18 and I'm so in fucking love! I'm getting an 83 honda vt750c. Going to do cams, push rods, straight pipes, and cold air intakes. Then I'm going to Bob it about like your girl Maggie 😂😂
My personal favorite Harley is the Road Glide. That front fairing with the dual headlights is just so sexy to me. That's the only bike I use in GTA V.

I’m the same way. When I was younger I hated Harleys and mocked them every chance I got. In the past few years I’ve really come to appreciate HD. It all started in 2014 with Project Rushmore, followed by the M8 and 2018 Softails. I really want to buy one now and just hit the road. Love of motorcycles is all motorcycles.

OfficeBear IMBACKURMAD except it doesn't cost 30k... you would have to buy one with every option you can get, plus the extended service plan to hit 30k. There are few out there in the CVO group but not many. A used street glide can be had for 10k or less, of course there are some that cost more.
