i did a trick and i posted it in my channel its a trick where it help thro ot when an enemy is camping goal it will get them by surprise bc i dont think anyone used it i have it in my channel if ur cool with it can u check it out bc am not sure what to call it but its kind of useful when someone is just at goal defending
For the last one, for beginners or intermediate players, you can put on the 180 flip in your setting, it's called single press air turn in accessibility so when you tap the top right of your screen (if on touch, in controller, you press LB once) you can do a 180 flip, like a halfway flip instead of constantly flipping like the joystick air roll does, it takes a lot of time and practice to master and get really good at it and do it faster but it's a really good way to get unlimited flips and get your boost back

You can do the same idea but easier with a gold shot up into the air by first popping it up a bit and then quickly gold shotting it up to increase height rather than the insanely complicated purple flick.
@@ManuMitraan now you can do it, and faster bcuz you can flip 180 degrees with a single tap in a blank space. You have to enable it in settings. Probably faster than air rolling.
Important tip: To get your boost/flip to reset you don't have to touch your wheels on the ball, just the center of your hitbox. That's very important for cars like the Scarab, where the point you have to use is just behind the front-wheels not right in the middle of the model.
That’s true for normal rl but for sideswipe it has to be the four wheels at the same time
No you can use front or back wheels.

you can also use the back wheels (or slightly above it). works all the time :D

you can also air roll by double tapping anywhere on the right side of the screen that is blank (ie: there is no button or element in that spot)
if you double tap you only air roll 180 degrees but i think its a bit faster so the spacing is different

@Antonio Campen if you hold your finger on the screen, you will keep air rolling and you can direct where you are going by moving your finger any direction

Left:
Thumb - Joystick
Index - Jump + Boost button
Right:
Thumb - Jump
Index - screen(if you double tap the screen in the air you air roll once)
Middle finger - boost

Just a correction of the flip resets. You don't have to be air rolling, just upsidedown so if you use the tap to air roll once on touch you can just do that. Also, you can get the reset from further away while right side up. Correct me if I'm wrong

You can airroll by going into the settings and control customization and adding airroll as a button, and on controller, LT (flip car) can be done by going into settings, "Accessibility" and enabling "Single Press Air Turns" which will make you flip your car if you press on an empty space on the screen. Accessibility settings have some cool things in there btw you should check it out

How to do that
I have been doing manual flicks when I am in the air with no boost or jumps and the ball is there, I usually hit it with a musty and then face my car up. I do that so that if a defender blocks it, it will bounce off of my car AND give me a flip reset. It also keeps your car in the air longer. I will also mustyand them double tap.
That could be even more effective using that to go into anything also you could use it for a purple shot and go for an unexpected shot

Quick question, do you use an emulator to play Sideswipe?
On touch, you need to only tap on the right side twice (not the jump or boost buttons) to quick flip. You also only need to be upside down to flip reset while flipping onto the ball. You can do flip reset while doing a normal flip but it's much harder, but allows you to reset your flips after flipping into the ball from much further away
I do manual musty kickoffs but it didnt occur to me to use it fast to fake using my flip. I had one accidental boost flip reset once too it felt amazing haha. My big struggle is flicking up with a small amount of horizontal space. I hate how the map in 1s keeps switching from low to high, it fucks with my muscle memory. Oh and for the reset stall, have you considered using L1 instead of L2? It does a half flip instantly, it can be easier to time than the air roll I find.

The thing he doesn’t say as you try to make the purple shot which really made me go into many losses because when you do a purple shot or a purple flick (only on controller, I don’t really know if it can be done in touch) as all of you’re wheels touch the ball, you stop moving and then jump/press A
If u do that boost reset then tap flip for purple shot... its op.. yur constantly reseting while purple shooting

i learned how to do the ceiling stall/shuffle/dash by myself. i was experimenting after playing for about a day and i wondered what would happen if you jump/ flip repeatedly on the ceiling. i did it and i thought i made a new mechanic lol

if you go into air roll mid way into the kickoff and flip backwards 0.1 second before hitting it, it will always send the ball up on your enemies side. (works for me in diamond 2)

one thing on the purple shot for touch players u also have to let go of the joystick or it wont do a purple shot
Do you need to be on controller to do the stalls?
Another word for air roll stall is turbo reset and a better way to do it is to double tap joystick then jump

You can also air roll by pressing l2 or on touch there is a setting
I use gold shots all the time it's very strong and fast and you can hit full field shots from your own goal

You can use half airroll for stall chains.

On what device do you play ?
for flip resets you just do a stall reset. Its much easier and requires less space. you should do it by pressing air roll and jump at the same time while under the ball and then its super easy.

yes you have to do the same as in the video but have to release your left finger when you touch the bal so you dont flip away but just backwards;
Highly suggest doing purple flicks by just jumping turn your car over by tapping anywhere that’s not a button and jumping again
The wave dash helped me recover 4 to 9
I have been doing the ceiling stall and got sliver 3 in like 20 games

Can you tell me the benifits or drawbacks of air rolling?
I always tend to air roll without knowing if its helping me or slowing me down or no effect
air roll creates softer touches on the ball which can help with control but not with power. It's also very useful when trying to get flip resets like I've shown in this video. Try out air dribbling in freeplay with both air roll and no air roll to see the touch difference
@@sidestriped804 exactly. Mogz made a video showing that air roll does nothing for aerials and air dribbles but I think that is false. He even made evidence on why it doesent give you softer touches but I just don’t think his evidence is true. And you are a higher rank then him so I would rather listen to you then mogz
