Another funny thing to do after the end of the match (in the end screen) is to double tap the joystick and hold down, then spam the boost+jump or jump button. It does amazing flips and amazing thing to reply toxic players when you win

I watched the other one where you talk about the super shots I think? Purple and gold and the other one, and I'm learning all of them as I play, but my issue is when I wanna make a goal I don't really know how to manage the directions my car takes, or even what should I do with it to get an accurate shot, so I end up doing random moves in hopes of getting a goal.
I'm trying to teach myself by using the training area but I lack the techniques.
So the video I'm asking for is attacking techniques, like this defending techniques. Thanks for your hard work!

Something I've realized about defense in this game is that you don't necessarily have to get a lot of saves. You just have to prevent needing to get saves in the first place.

Notes-
•Do not sit as a permanent goalie sitting in goal and having a picnic (I really liked the joke lol) , better help your partner and try to be passive agressive passionately!
•In position where you really need to be in the goal try to be in the goal put keep your car's nose little out. I will help
•Try Using Gold shot to clear your side, also do long pases with it. It helps by bringing you back to your defencsive position.
•Don't sit to deep, or too long inside goal
•Defensive rotation: Somtimes when are facing your own goal and the bowl is going to same direction, don't hit it to your goal's wall and do a U Turn Air-Dribble(Somtimes okay) but try going from upside of the ball then follow with downward flip (you can do pancake to sometimes, I love that)

I was so surprised when I realized I had learned these naturally, can’t wait to work on them more now that I have some clues!! 🎉🎉
Are there any good practices for properly being in position with the ball, like perfectly boost reset or just flip reset? I'm still terrible at controlling the ball and end up launching the down Antarctica and end up sitting idle in the air with no boost while my opponent scores. I'm usually grounded but knowing tricks like these can be so much more useful. I at the very least know to aim down to fall faster. It may be just a basic skill thing that you just get better more you play, if so then ignore this
I usually use free play with unlimited boost for practising air control, flip resets and the various kinds if shots. One example is trying to keep the ball in the air, at some point you need to flip to save it and you'll need a flip reset to keep going afterwards.
Just make sure to also practise without unlimited boost. Also always avoid being in the air with no boost or flip and don't commit without boost unless you are sure to score, that was a mistake I made too many times.
I'm sure others will have better tips though, only reached diamond myself recently.
Try using gold shots more than normal powershots because they are more powerful and allow for quicker recoveries. Seems simple but in high level champ and GC lobbies they are used more than any other mechanic

Mogz thanks for the tips I know have one major problem and that is positioning.i always end up in front of my teammate causing me to either own goal or just mess up their shot

For the sitting in goal tip, your right. Having your nose on the car is a great strategy for ground plays but for flicks, stall shots and air dribbles, I recommend hovering in the middle of the net with the bottom of your car facing the opposition.

My Strategy is
When one is fighting with opponent and one should be back there in a position(back position at initialisation of game) when player in front came to u and enemies came also came to u...then backward guy should move the ball to opposite goal and the first guy will stay....becoz he left out with Boost and also staying backside will work as defence....same process repeat wait untill your frd get to u with ball(hit by enemies) and you move he will stay in ur place...
This strategy works for me Soo many times....i don't know about you guys strategy but i have very confidence on mine...

So mogz, why do you play on the left side (from what I've seen on yt video) do you think there's a difference in playing or just a personal preference
nah just personal preference dude. I just think playing 'left to right' makes more sense to me cos.. we generally do everything left to right by default...
when I play touch, I prefer right to left though cos my fingers (on right hand) get in the way less.
yeah i try to stay outside of my own goal as much as possible and go down on the ground so i can have a faster reflex to counter a possible opponent aerial attack

Hey morgz I figured out the turbo on screen celebration, hold air roll and aim down, keep holding boost and only double tap jump and it will shoot turbo on screen

I think most of this is common sense yo anyone playing side swipe. The true difference in ability is consistency, ball and car control. And mechanics. You can do pretty well with polished fundamentals but it only takes you so far you have to start learning how to apply alternate ways of executing these fundamental skills. In a years time there will be a golden standard for what mechanics belong to grand champs exclusively due there will be ways to improve the meta of the game even though it's a 2d scroller. Maybe not as many as actual rocket league (there are still new meta mechanics arising now and it come out years ago)
These are all defensive moves i do in every match so yeah nice video🙂

I love shooting under the ball when it bounces and the do a quick 180 and flip it back toward their goal. Omg and faking on sideswipe is leathal lol and they will rage quit if you keep getting them with it lol
Hey I’ve got a question for your editing, how do you get rid of the buttons for games like this that are on mobile
you can hide the jump, boost, boosted jump buttons by putting opacity slider to 0.
or use a controller and it auto hides them all incl. joystick
