Pattern for reducing:

2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 = 12L
2 2 2 2 2 2 = 6L
Total Loops Needed = 228
Modified to:
Baby
20 Loops x 6 Rounds
Then 15, 10, 5 Loops x 1 Round ea.
2 1 1 2 1 1 2 1 1 2 1 1 2 1 1 = 15 L
2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 = 10 L
2 2 2 2 2 = 5 L
Total Loops Needed = 150
Newborn
16 Loops x 4 Rounds
Then 12, 8, 4 Loops x 1 Round each
2 1 1 2 1 1 2 1 1 2 1 1 = 12 L
2 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 = 8 L
2 2 2 2 = 4 L
Total Loops Needed = 88

Lovely tutorial :) thank you. I tried it yesterday and I would say it is definitely big for a baby. I will try it once again but with 20 loops and only 4 or 5 rows. And also only 4 or 5 loops for ears :)

@@lisaericdavisson1755 I made this pattern for my 10 and 5 yr old granddaughters and 8 rounds was WAY to much, I ended up doing 6 rounds for the 10 yr old and 5 for my 5 yr old. So, I would say no more than 4 for a newborn.

I’d say around 15-20, 22 to be on the safe side since it tends to shrink a little from stitching.
