I am 15 right now, and i've wanted to work for LEGO since i was 9, its been a dream ever since and i'm hoping it will stay that way for age. I've been collecting LEGO since, 7 years old(Juniors) and watching this video and seeing you build LEGO has inspired me even more.

Always brings a smile to my face when I am reminded of how 1980, I had a girls convent school stop for the night next to a B&B I was staying at in Salzberg. After the nuns went to sleep the teens came out smoking filterless Prinz Eugen cigarettes and drinking schnapps straight from the bottle.

I get that it's a little late, but when you graduate high school, you should try to get a college degree that has something to do with design

@@TiagoCatarino Having watched your movie I dare to doubt because 2 of top 7 reasons of working for TLG are free bricks and discounted shop. I always thought that having a dream job you don't have to care about money and you can buy as many bricks as you want.😉
Does designer's salary depend on commercial success of his sets?

There's a documentary by ENDEVR titled "the world's dream job: how to become a set designer at lego" on youtube that documents a lot of the process, though some important things are being experienced with lego, as well as getting some sort of degree in a design field, though the second option won't be strictly necessary

Hey tiago, i will put my message here because I can't manage to do so on your website, somethings is off on it
I would like advices concerning being a Lego designer, it's been some time since I've begun to follow you on UA-cam, and your advices videos regarding your ex-job have been priceless to me, who's dream job would be what you did.
There would be 2 sectors where I lack knowledge to do so, and that would be in what type of design studies to do, and what type of build should I do, to improve myself, to be able to design more complexe sets.
I already can't thank you enough for all that I've learned in that regard thanks to you, and I'll understand if you can't really help me more about it.
I don't even know if you will this comment, but thanks if you do

1: just pursue whatever fits you best anything from 3d modeling to carpentry can help, though it's best to get a degree that involves 3d software to some extent. What really matters is that the degree teaches you how to design. Of course, what really matters is how well you can design, and a degree just helps with that
2: build lots of things. Cars, buildings, animals, ships, whatever you can think of. Just make sure to build varied things
