@@stop.chattn2517 I have to agree. My personal choice is still the Sony XM5 even over the Momentum 4 because of comfort, controls, ANC implementation & control, and overall experience. No one ever agrees with me when I say sound quality isn't EVERYTHING when it comes to headphones. It's the entire experience and how well that package is put together that makes the difference.

I really need to watch this video!!
I'm in desperate need of upgrading my headphones...I've had my JBLlive400 for 3 years maybe I know 2 years and over for sure
I'm trying to keep in 130.00 or less range...I would like good quality headphones ...
Here is what I would like or what I already have...when looking to buy
The jbl's I have now the battery life last for 2 days and I'm ALWAYS using them
      1. Good battery life
      2. Noise Cancelling
      3. Bluetooth
      4. Alexa or Siri
      5. Folds up (not a deal breaker)
      6. Sound I like to be able to hear everything even the smallest sounds...
And I would like something that will last...so far jbl has knocked everything out of the ballpark for a good price...I know I would NEVER spend 200.00 on headphones but I would spend up to 130.00 I think That's about as high as I would go....
Does anyone have any suggestions? Please let me know...thank you

Hi Antoine, thanks for the video. I have followed you since your Soundcore Q10 reviews. I recently commented on a post that Soundcore had on Facebook, asking when the Q45s were arriving in Australia. They replied with a yes they're here already, and PM me a voucher with a 3 day expiry on the Q45s to purchase. To me, brand loyalty also applies to customer service. This is why Hyundai has edged other manufacturers because they follow up after purchase, and respond promptly. Anyway, as I was saying, man can't wait to receive these headphones. One little detail about the Q45. The 50 hour battery life is with the ANC on. Without it it's 65 hours. I saved AU$32 with the voucher. Total cost AU186. Thanks again Antoine and Soundcore. 👍🏾

@@Messup7654 hi, it sounds good. I use a digital audio player, so that has EQ. The app also has its own EQ settings to your liking. The Q10 had more bass, buy the noise isn't cancelled. The closed cups help, but it doesn't filter out sound from a train carriage. The Q45s, I use while commuting. The active noise cancelling is good, but not perfect like the more expensive headphones. Hopefully a newer model will feature more mics to cancel out noise completely. Definitely will buy. The bass is not as prominent as the Q10, but it's there. It means that I enjoy all aspects of the song, along with the bass. It's an all round great sound. I like that it has good battery life, and a hard case with it, as an added bonus. Also the cups fold in both angles. Hope it helps. Cheers

I love how Soundcore just sort of quietly kicks ass and gives you ~85% of the all around quality of the Big Dogs, but only those who take a chance on them really understand how, from a value perspective - Bang for the Buck - they can't be beat. I have mountains of respect for Soundcore and while I own Sennheiser and Sony products, I also own a few Soundcore products too. No one should ever dismiss them just because they aren't a big name in audio - yet. I was most interested in seeing this type of comparison and I am very pleased to know that the Q45 is right up there for less than half the price of the XM5. That's very cool!

I’ll just say this, as someone who had a pair of Soundcore Liberty Air 2’s….THEY SOUNDED LIKE STRAIGHT UP DOG *HIT!!! I mean I am sure they have improved a little over time but as someone who would rather get A QUALITY Product that maybe I have to save up for instead of settling for AN INFERIOR PRODUCT SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE CHEAPER I CAN’T really understand people when it comes to that. I just went out and bought the Sony WH-1000XM5’s because they were on sale for $250 online at Target this past week. Prior to that I had bought the XM4’s the day before because they were on sale at Best Buy for $230….so obviously I returned the XM4’s to Best Buy when I bought the XM5’s. Prior to that I was coming from the AirPod Pro 2’s because I am part of the Apple ecosystem and have been for 22 years since I got my first iPod on my 17th birthday!! My point is, if people were BEING HONEST WITH THEMSELVES AND OBJECTIVE TO EVERYONE ELSE, they would acknowledge that THE SOUNDCORE’S CAN’T TOUCH SONY IN TERMS OF ANC AND SOUND QUALITY REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE! I was never gonna pick either a momentum or an xm5. They're just too expensive for what I need them for -- aka to use at night when I can't use speakers, and occasionally when I really need the ANC, which is not all that often. Makes the q45 perfect for me. It's actually impressive how they managed to get number 2 spots at all while being 1/2 or even 1/3 of the price.

*Fantastic* comparison here, and extremely timely for me: on account of a motorcycle crash I suffered a few months back, I've been on the mend, and due to shuttling back-and-forth between hospital and rehab, the one thing I knew I'd want is a decent pair of over-ear NC headphones, and after some brief but concentrated research I chose the Soundcore 'phones. Rather than being a tough choice, in my case it was easy: between my two hi-fi systems at home, I *already* own two pair of terrific wired 'phones which I'd put up against the priciest Bluetooth 'phones in regard to sound quality, so all I was looking for in a BT 'phone was simply good sound quality, but *seriously* good noise-cancelling and solid battery life, and the Soundcores seriously kick butt here. My take is that if these were going to be your Main Axe headphones for all your serious listening, then *maybe* spending the extra bucks for the Sony or Sennheiser cans is the right choice; for me, I follow the philosophy of "the perfect is the enemy of the good", and made my choice appropriately. And I'm pretty damned happy.

At the bottom (unde4 100), most are garbage and there seem to be a lot in the middle 200-300 range. The Q45 stand out as the best 200-300 set while priced at only 150. First off, appreciate the video, the insights, and reasoned comparisons. I am smirking however every time you mention price difference. It sounds crazy to say but value is really subjective. I'm well into headphones as a hobby, my most expensive pair cost 3 grand, but even that is considered a drop in the bucket regarding how much you could spend to squeeze every last drop of fidelity, or spatial information, or texture out of what we listen to. I actually think spending 3-500 on a pair of headphones that are well built (or built to survive basic elements and stresses), are portable, are wireless, have companion apps for customization, and their own DAC/amp modules is pretty fair given the ease of use and broad applicability to popular music. The rabbit hole goes so very deep for audio but even for niche elements like headphones and in-ears. Sennheiser makes some tremendous wired headphones, I hope in their new focus on providing commerical audio options they remember how much their 600 series is loved. Thanks for the video, but I think a wired headphone running into a BT dongle like an iFi GoBlu or FiiO BTR7 would be my choice.

@@melissaplasencia8717 and there's nothing wrong with that. Anything audio needs to fit a use case. The overall trend I'm seeing is that these wireless device are improving their sound quality, they're not just content to blast mid-bass and call it a day. It'll continue to improve with better codecs for audio transmission, better driver designs, and better DSP correction. Honestly.. I think brands like SoundCore and Final Audio have very compelling wireless products if you plan on beating something up at the gym or in the yard for under 200. I'm digging both the PX7 S2 and PX8 from Bowers and Wilkins but I wouldn't take them to gym. Have you considered, at least as a thought experiment, in making a video comparing a pair of wireless headphones against using a pair of wired headphones with a blu tooth adapter? Which option sounds better? Which would make for a better overall experience? As an example, I like using my Meze 99 Noir, they make viewing movies a theater-like experience, but if I wanted to use them wireless I just plug them into the FiiO BTR5. I find they sound better than the Sony WH-1000XM4 and are more comfortable to use, but the XM4 has ANC and is slightly more portable.
It's just a thought, and it would make for an interesting video.

I'm loving the Q45 personally but of course there's always some area of sound I find lacking a bit. That's every pair really, not just them. I just wish the bass up setting let you also do a custom EQ profile and also keep the bass up on. So dumb they make it either or and full bass on a custom EQ isn't nearly as effective as the bass up 🤷‍♂Plus I always want more sub bass but not the boomy mid bass or low mids boosted. I really just miss my Viper4Android sub bass! 😭But no rooted 2nd music phone anymore. Anyway I did find a decent EQ app called Wavelet that works in legacy mode without root on Android so I'm good with running both together. Just make sure to set the buffer up high in the settings or it will be a little rough and low quality sounding. I haven't tried the paid version features, not much of a reverb guy the Qs have a good wide soundstage anyway.

The anc of the AirPods Max has always been pretty good for my ears. Same for the Soundcore Q45. (Which I picked up mainly because my AirPods Max crapped out on me for some reason I’ve yet to figure out.)

@@NewStuffTV1 To be honest the Soundcore Q45 is basically a stand in until I can save up the money the repair or replace my old AP MAX. Also I’m using the Soundcore primarily for my Nebula Cosmos laser projector so I watch movies and not bother everyone else in the house when they’re sleeping. I used the AirPods Max for that and I think that may have contributed somehow to them crapping out on me. Pretty sure of it in fact as they were fine before that, and I didn’t have problems with it until then.

I'm trying to keep in 100.00 or less but I want headphones a lot of things with my them an idk if I'll be able to get what i want for the price here's what I want
Or what I do have already
    1. My jbl battery life last for 2 days and I'm ALWAYS using them so God battery life

Every time it is the same / worst than the cheaper one for some odd reason it still wins the category like you said about Sony and SC are the same, than you said that SC has much more and better bass but yet, they are the same sound quality?
If you give them to random people, without price tags, you will gett real opinions, mostly sound quality and comfort, reveal battery life and you have a clear winner.
