Your whole sim racing rig looks awesome. We can see the joy you have when you smile after those GeForces hit you. I understand all too well, there are plenty of times while sim racing that I just can't stop smiling. I love the adrenaline rush when racing.

As I said in the previous video I have tested belt tensioner at Maranello in Ferrari museum, just few years ago. I can clearly remember the feeling on going flat out through eau Rogue and Raidillon at SPA, insane sensation of lateral force and downforce

I really hope you get a chance to test out the QS-CH2. I'm saving for a Qubic system and it's between a QS-210 then upgrading to a QS-CH2 later or saving for a couple years and grabbing a QS-S25. Of course I'm gonna need to toss a QS-BT1 in the mix either way now. Your reviews and videos have been essential to tracking down a motion manufacturer I feel will be a good investment. I think their software is going to get extremely refined and excel over the competition. They also are just the hobby side of a manufacturer that has the money to really invest in new technology and advanced programming which means they probably have some really cool things in the works, the QS-CH2 being just one of them. If it can give just half the sensation of drifting without the odd floaty reset feeling it will be worth it. I'm super curious how convincingly a QS-CH2 with a QS-BT1 could trick your brain that your really in a car.
There is an option to set preload on the belts and I guess your question is very legit and makes lots of sense! I must provide your idea to Qubic System and I believe they will be very happy to listen and try to do it 💪

This is my question. After having built my own G seat I was looking for a turnkey belt tensioner. But I find that all the belt tensioners get the belts incorrect. Under acceleration the belts shouldn't tighten. You are being pushed back into your seat by the G force of accelerating, which my G seat simulates by pushing the back panel forward and naturally tensioning my body against the belts. Under hard braking, then your seat harness should exert force on your body much much greater than when you are accellerating. How does this system work? Is it backward like most? Thanks
It works exactly as you mentioned! When you brake the belts tight and creat illusion of braking forces which the pressure added to your chest. That pressure is also progressive depending on the braking forces and the lateral forces in trial braking!
Ta6nks for the review. I also hope qubic will add abs and traction control effects. Also in their motion software. It's available I'm simhub, SRS, simucube but not qubic for some reason.
I was thinking about that too and won’t be bad to be as an option and probably will be very easy to be implemented. However, the centrifugal effect gives that same feeling of acceleration while going out of the corner but it takes about bit from the deep trial braking effect.

I think this is absolutely great device on its own as it gives something nothing else can do and everything extra like but kickers or motion just adds on top of that! As much more I use it that much more love it 😃
It has progression in release while trial brake and if is pressed lighter! It is not linear and also move the pressure from left to right progressively with the weight transfer! I still have to find the perfect settings but I’m getting slowly there
That’s very interesting question. As the price difference is quite substantial I would say the Belt Tensioner will be less painful for the bank and still give insane immersion. I think right now I enjoy the most the tensioner but that may be because is new to the impression!

Hey, You got me really intereted into this. I checked their website and QS advice to not buy simracing belts but real belts. So I checked Sabelt because... They seem to be fine; why else would you use them. However... studying their catalogue made me feel like I'm lacking a degree in race car building... or mabye even two; there are just too many options. Any advice on which belt you are using would be very much appreciate or which belts you think would be good for this system. Also... since I feel like the risk of rolling over in a sim isnt that bad, I wouldn't mind having only 4 belts... because... comfort around my "man bits". Do you think that's fine for the system or is having belts between your legs necesary for this to work properly? Thanks in advance.
Hey man, I think I made wrong statement saying 6 points is the probably the best way to go but ones i put my belts on 4 points things get way more comfortable without any change in the feeling of the system and I was super happy with that as it wasn’t really optimal for my balls 😁 However, about belts i strongly recommend 4 points and all FIA rated belts are absolutely the same in terms of comfort! My Sabelt belts where very cheap at the time I got them as the homologation was ended the previous year and i paid like 100€ You can go for whatever you find from Sabelt, Sparco, OMP and if you want to safe some cash, Beltenik have same belts for 100€ As I’ve said, whatever you take from those FIA homologated belts they will be absolutely the same for this case and only the stickers will be different!

Hey pal, would you say a 5 point belt is needed to get the best out of this system? I currently do own a 4 point belt but my seat offers the installation of a 5 point belt. I read users advising 5 point for a perfect experience. Also, I think I’d need those 3D printed Inlays for my Simlab speed one seat to have the belts not dragging down on my shoulders. It is complementary for the motion world as it gives the sustained G-Forces! There is no way to compare both as they do different things but for sure they complete each other! Today I started testing it again with the motion activated and I understand the logic behind some settings if combined with motion activated! Each next day I see more and more value in this device 😃
Hey buddy, I have 6 points Sabelt but it turns out when I detach the bottom part between my legs is way more comfortable without making any difference in compression! So, I believe any 4 points racing belt will do the same job and will depend on how much you are willing to spend! I found my belts like many years ago which was out of homologation in very discount price like 100€ Beltenick 4 points belts are very good price for example and just as good as Sabelt,OMP, Sparco and all the other well known companies 🤛

@@pineapplegrips1989 I have no problems with lap times using my motion at all and even I began to understand better the behavior of the car from the road surface! The problem with motion devices making us slow is when they are not set properly and non of the exhaustion have them properly set for actual driving improvements and they become distracting! Ever feedback is very welcome and becomes important after long use ones we start to fully understand the provided feedback! I can now understand the problems of the car and can work on the setup to help the problems! Agin, I use to say the same thing for motion rigs before because I never tested properly set one!
It does, and it's also made by Qubic systems (their other brand called Motion Systems I think), but its cost is more like 100k EUR or more and requires a lot of power lines and space.

Hey man, it doesn’t have to be Sabelt anyway but I would suggest to look for belts which are out of homologation and they cost usually half the price! I found mine In some rally shop in Poland but was few year back and don’t even remember the website 🙈 I remember I paid 120€ for that set

This is my question. After having built my own G seat I was looking for a turnkey belt tensioner. But I find that all the belt tensioners get the belts incorrect. Under acceleration the belts shouldn't tighten. You are being pushed back into your seat by the G force of accelerating, which my G seat simulates by pushing the back panel forward and naturally tensioning my body against the belts.

u also have to attach the underbelt to the fixed platform if u have surge, that will give u a double realistic experience..
You should make some ballbearing rollers for belts going throught seat holes. I bet that without this qsbt1 force is weakened by friction
Comes with very low friction parts which are for the holes and works well without making the installation complicated 🤛

The problem with motion devices making us slow is when they are not set properly and non of the exhaustion have them properly set for actual driving improvements and they become distracting!
Ever feedback is very welcome and becomes important after long use ones we start to fully understand the provided feedback!
I can now understand the problems of the car and can work on the setup to help the problems!

yeah.. there is good diy tensioner for simhub.. cost u around 350,- exact the same concept and working.. u have to have 3d printer though

It does, and it's also made by Qubic systems (their other brand called Motion Systems I think), but its cost is more like 100k EUR or more and requires a lot of power lines and space.

@@RIP212 cant find it anywhere, I seen one custom one in this youtube short recently thats about it. Im talking about complete rotation so if u take a 360 degree ramp the rig keeps rotating untill you do a full 360 degrees

Hey man, it doesn’t have to be Sabelt anyway but I would suggest to look for belts which are out of homologation and they cost usually half the price!
I found mine In some rally shop in Poland but was few year back and don’t even remember the website 🙈 I remember I paid 120€ for that set
