Own it for a week now (bought it after I saw your first review and checked the Qubic discord where everybody is saying the same thing) as an addition to my QS 220 and can confirm everything you say 100 %. Totally awesome. Game changer...Have tried a 6 point and a 4 point belt and settled for the 4 point...effects are the same and 4 point is much more comfy...I was worried about having to get a new seat as according to the Qubic instructions the slots for the belts in my seat are a bit too low and too narrow. However, much to my relief it does not seem to matter (I'm using 3'' belts with shoulder pads though...and I have chosen the "sports belts" instead of the "race belts" as in the sport belts the shoulder belts run down vertically (and not pointing to the center lock) which keeps them a bit more away from my neck). And, holy cow: You can actually drift a car on tarmac in iRacing???!!! I thought you had to get AC and quite a few mods to be able to do that...
So happy to read about your joy with it brother 😃 Indeed Qubic system recommendation are strict probably because they want to be sure will be the best possible experience but even with few imperfections I don’t feel much difference which is great thing 😃 And the RX cars are controllable indeed going sideways on tarmac 😆 Hugs brother and thanks for sharing your experience with this monster 🤗

Your first video convinced me to buy this. Still patiently waiting to get it. Now this video has me even more excited. Really looking forward to completing my rig. This was the final piece. I decided against motion and decided to go with this and the Slip Angle 4 corner (with one under the seat) and haptics on the pedals. I think it's going to be perfect. Keep up the good work!
@snoopy_peanuts_77 it's definitely great and does a better job than my previous diy version. With shipping, it's a little overpriced, but it's super convenient and easy to set up. A little tip, if you have any binding or friction on the spring housing at the rubber, use a little lithium grease. No binding and much better movement at those points.
@@chepilevski I finally got it on Friday and got it installed. Only driven a couple of times, but it's pretty awesome! Do you have any suggested settings for iRacing specifically? I feel like I might need to turn off the rpm's because of the constant tensions on the belts. I'm curious about your gain settings and deadzones. Thanks!

This time while your wallet will suffer, you will smile like never before 😁 It really is the most easiest recommendation I can make for fun experience brother 💪💪💪
Hi mate! 🙌 Quick question for you 😁 I just got my QS-BT1 and was wondering if I need to connect it separately to my PC, or if I can connect my QS-210 to the QS-BT1 and only run one connection to my PC? So basically, do I need to run two USBs to my PC, or can I just run one connection?
I haven’t try that as i wanted to run them separately for different uses and I know they can use the same emergence button but not sure if works single usb
I was looking at the PT actuator version which seems identical with 2 motors and same build looks but I think this is better and much easier to attach your own belts. ❤
I read comment from someone who had the PT and got this one and said was noticeable upgrade and said also the auto calibration was big deal for him but I can’t personally comment as I haven’t tested it side by side bro! Just hear say which is not exactly evidence 😁
I wonder how this compares to the diy versions that will also tighten the side belts. This seems quieter and likely much better quality but I wish it had a version for 4 straps.
@@chepilevski Just received my unit. Trying to get it mounted to my Sim-Lab P1X Pro. I hope that they fired the person that designed the mounting solution....
Gotta get me some jiggle jiggle! 😎 Thanks man another Stellar review. I saw the comment on the lower strap though hows the nipple chafing? I only ask as nippless erectus may be problematic on cold starts. Seriously though these would be fantastic for vr for inside out tracking hmd. Do they work with any telemetry based sim?
Hey brother, hope you’re doing well. Another great review and video. I really enjoy some content at the moment as I’m in a bit of a low with sim racing. Would love to test something like this as well. Do you know if they will be in Dortmund with the belt tensioners? Keeping going. Happy to see you in October again. Big hug
Hi Alex🤗 All goes great as usual here bro and hopefully you are good too besides the sim joy 🙈 I as Qubic System if they will be at the expo but they won’t which is a shame. I really try to push things and organize something with Imsim and Qubic System so there will be a chance for people to test this beauty at the expo but let’s see if that will work. This product really must be on the Expo in my opinion.
I built myself a belt tensioner (Simhub+Arduino+Servos) and I can confirm that belt tensioners just work. The transition from brake to turn is beautifully feelable. And I drive curves more confident.
Beside the two tensioners for the up part of belts, do you think that it can be combined with one more system, to handle the lower part of belt around the waist? I believe it will be more complete that way.
I can imagine must be better but must be tested. I think from pure physics point of view they will fight against each other as one will pull up and and the other down which my take some of the effect. I don’t know really
This looks awesome but I already have a long list of things I want to buy still. Surely there will be a few choices on the market soon… looking at you Simagic…
Hi, do you know if it s nearly the same feeling as the "Tension R pro " from PT ACTUATOR ? The price is nearly the same but I am already bound to SimRacing Studio software for dof H3 and I don t no if having one sofware more is a good idea. Have already Steam VR, Virtual desktop, ovrmotion compensation, SRS, Moza and crew Chief running . That s a lot
I've felt abs in real life many times. I've been racing for a year now and i still don't feel the ABS in iracing. I only check the lights on the dashboard for it 😂
That’s awesome buddy 💪 We need as many creators as possible to grow our beautiful sim world 💪 I use different cameras but for the onboards I use the GoPro 10 and then I use the OBS for the TVcamers and sound and i edit the videos in Premier Pro 🤛
Thanks for the review. I Have a question do you feel the engine vibration effect keep the belt compressed you all the time? Like it compress all the excess play in the belt and always keeps you compressed.
Thx brother 🤗 That’s very old 6 point model i found many years ago out of homologation for 100€ They are all basically the same and if you look on the net, you may find some out of homologation for very good price 💪😃
Your great review and passion triggered me to order the QS-BT1. As I see you wear the Sabelt 4 point belt. Wouldn’t it be better with a 5 or 6 point belt, as I can imagine, the forces of the tension pull up the seat belt buckle? Thank you!
You will love it Chris, by far the best product of the year! Actually my seatbelt is 6 points but with this feels more comfortable with 4 only for my nuts just had to really tighten the side points !
@@chepilevskithank you so much. I have both the PT Actuator TensionR and the TensionR Pro and I am very excited about the feeling in the Qubic. In December I await my delivery here to Germany. 👋
Just installed mine and its brutal under braking! Immersion in VR is epic. Are you able to share your profile so I can see how you have it setup please? I noticed a bunch if atuff enabled by default and vertical force isn't.
Hey buddy, I’m far from my rig but I remember what I use so, Brake effect checked Side acceleration checked Centrifugal effect checked Vertical effects checked All those are set to strength 1.7 Next effect are Rumble strips Bounce effect up to 12 Gear changes both on max 2.5 Side slip effect And lastly the ABS with frequency 30hz The reast is off !
@@chepilevskiExcellent! I may need to turn down the intensity a bit but these settings have solved there being no or not enough corner g force under acceleration💪
Awesome review. I'm planning to buy it, and I'll also get the same O'rouge seat as you have. Could you share how tall are you? So I have a reference for where my shoulders would be placed in relation to the seat holes where the bealts go though. Thanks!!!
Man, you will love this thing 💪❤️ I’m 180cm and if I seat correctly in the seat, the holes are just two centimeters lower then my shoulder but that’s not problem at all for the experience of the belt tensioner 🤛
Good morning from Australia. I love your videos talked a couple times to u. This belt tensioner setup what are your thoughts on it with no motion still worth it still amazing until get motion 😀
Hi brother 🤗 I haven’t fire up the motion the last few weeks because i wanted to get the maximum from the belt tensioner and I have to admit i didn’t missed much the motion! It really provides a lot and the motion just add bit more to the immersion in my opinion. For me personally this is more fun then the motion 🙈
@chepilevski Great to hear cause I orded one yesterday 😬 love your videos watched it multiple times and u sold me on it same as the p1000 pedal set with hydraulic added. I like your honest reviews and trust it's not a paid pitch so to speak 😊 so hopfully few weeks ill get it set up and see if I smile same as u
You know ... at some point I'm beginning to wonder what my electricity bill will going to be if I end up getting all these toys. Already got like 3 power supplies attached to my rig and now more electric motors to consider.
I’m afraid to check that too bro 🙈 Last year I had to pay like 170€ extra but at the end of the calendar year but not sure if some of that is not coming from the inflation 😁
The belt tensioner wining for few reasons definitely! Way simpler yet at the same time gives illusion of g force which motion can’t recreate, also covers very well the haptic feedback almost like the motion kit and is way more affordable!
Thanks for another great review brother🤘 is there a chance that maybe you can review the SRT V10 diy shifter ? It seems a pretty interesting and very successful project. I would appreciate it 🤙 thank you !
Thanks for video. I wonder what happens with tensioners when doing rally and flying over the hill on full speed. I think on landing it will tension too?
It reacts with the chassis but there is protection mode and if the landing is harsh it just reduces the effect! It’s the same with the motion actuators. It must be reasonable soft landing and if is not will kill the effect to not hurt me !
Hey man, I saw some 3d printed parts with rollers in the discord of the QS-BT1 with which people solved that problem! I shared link in the discussion of the video and if you scroll in that chat you will find the topic and the 3D file 🤛
I‘m not sure if I should get this kit or an SFX 150 from eRacing Lab / Aliexpress. What would you do if you could only choose one? Motion platform or the qubic belt tensioner?
My choice will be this as i feel more immersed with it the the motion! Together both make incredible experiences but if i have to choose only one will be the belt tensioner 🤛
Thanks for answering so quickly. I still have one question. In the menu under shift it says "It is recommend to disable this effect for H pattern shifter" Thats a bummer, as I love driving older cars in assetto corsa. Have you tried the shift effect with H pattern cars ? How does it feel?
Excellent review dude. Totally convinced me 😊Mine has arrived today so will be fitting it tonight. I currently use 2 Buttkickers for haptics, do you think the BT1 will replace the need for other haptics?
Happy for you Timmo💪 I would love if you test it without the buttkickers for few days and see how it works for you ! It will be great to hear your opinion 💪

Is not like the real 9g which take the blood in our heals as is different but is the weight we will experience on the belts which is still impressive 😁
To be honest, all FIA belts are the same and won’t matter in use! I suggest to look on internet for belts which are going out of homologation or already out as they cost third of the price! I found my Sabelt for 100€ which usually cost 300€
@@chepilevski I figured it was for a reason such as that. Maintaining a discord can definitely be difficult and you'd likely need to delegate things like moderation and maintaining to others to make it work so you still enjoy spending the time you have the way you do. Perhaps in the future an alternative/compromise can be found, as having a repository full of information such as your setups and settings for various hardware and games would be incredibly useful. One alternative would be something like a subreddit I suppose.
Hi, received the unit today, all installed, but before I boot up I have one question. I have no motion and confused by the manual, its unclear. Do I need to plug in the motion lock jumper or not? Not sure what this means/does. Sorry to be so thick 😊 Regards, Pete
Another question: Do you run the vertical-g on your setup? (I find it pulls the central connector up a lot on a 4 point harness with this option turned on)
@@pineapplegrips1989 with 4 points you must tide the side belts as much as possible to not get pulled up buddy! In my 4 points is almost zero movement up but they are very tide !
Hey man, the belts I use are very old and I got them many years ago with huge discount because where out of homologation! All you need to do is is just such for 4 point FIA belts from Sabel, Sparco, OMP, stant21 or even Beltenik which are the cheapest option and are the same quality!
@@ryanchenoweth5673 no bro, I have it on 6 points and 4 points and the effects feels absolutely the same but with 4 my nuts are comfy. Just have to tide a lot the bottom left and right side to not pull the locker up🤛
@@StickyPlasters I hope will work at close distance and it looks like there must be perfect physical position for the side monitor to not get the warp effect but man, if that works will be crazy 😁
Does it get in the way of trying to be competitive, as in feeling like a distraction that takes away some of the focus from your inputs? Иначе страхотно качество в продукцията на всеки клип!
I guess that will be subjective from person to person. For me personally, it helps me relax my shoulders in the braking and turning zone which helps me to feel bit more the FFB coming from the wheel base! Blagodarnosti bratle 🤛

@@chepilevski really appreciate it man been on the sim for nearly 5 years now and absolutely love the passion of driving hopefully one day I can convert my sim skills to a career lol 😂
They complement each other for sure but I found I stop feeling the kick of the gears trough the motion as I did before the belt tensioner which means some effects are more direct from the belts! Of course, the vertical forces are great coming from the rig and some haptic effects are more defined like rumble strip! For sure they compliment each other a lot !
Those are 6 points but I use only two side points and not those between my legs! Ones i de touched those become way more comfortable without losing any of the feeling

QS-BT1 and QS-220 ordered
Full send 😁
That’s gonna be some exciting days 💪😃
How is it?
Beyond 4 wheels? Could only imagine what it would be like piloting a mech with one of these systems installed.
thank you
I ve been watching your videos for a while now and everything I bought was based on your reviews, feels like my wallet is going to cry one more time😂
This time while your wallet will suffer, you will smile like never before 😁
It really is the most easiest recommendation I can make for fun experience brother 💪💪💪
Hi mate! 🙌
Quick question for you 😁 I just got my QS-BT1 and was wondering if I need to connect it separately to my PC, or if I can connect my QS-210 to the QS-BT1 and only run one connection to my PC?
So basically, do I need to run two USBs to my PC, or can I just run one connection?
I haven’t try that as i wanted to run them separately for different uses and I know they can use the same emergence button but not sure if works single usb
I tried, and it doesn't work😆 @@chepilevski Thanks mate! 🙌
It is also better to be separated as the belts must be locked every time you do some small test 😄
Let me know how you feel with those bro 😃
I was looking at the PT actuator version which seems identical with 2 motors and same build looks but I think this is better and much easier to attach your own belts. ❤
I read comment from someone who had the PT and got this one and said was noticeable upgrade and said also the auto calibration was big deal for him but I can’t personally comment as I haven’t tested it side by side bro! Just hear say which is not exactly evidence 😁
@@chepilevski the PT TensionR in the new PRO version is also very quiet, quite as strong, calibration is only one short key...but less expensive
@@christianhofmann7182 that’s interesting 😃
I wonder how this compares to the diy versions that will also tighten the side belts. This seems quieter and likely much better quality but I wish it had a version for 4 straps.
Never tested that buddy.
Must be interesting to know too 😃
In ordered one but it is on back order. Expected delivery is mid October, really looking forward to it
Would love to hear from you when you jump in it 💪😃
@@chepilevski Just received my unit.
😂😂😂
Happy to report balls are safe brother 😁
Hugs my friend 🤗
Hey brother, hope you’re doing well. Another great review and video. I really enjoy some content at the moment as I’m in a bit of a low with sim racing. Would love to test something like this as well. Do you know if they will be in Dortmund with the belt tensioners?
Keeping going.
Happy to see you in October again. Big hug
Hi Alex🤗
All goes great as usual here bro and hopefully you are good too besides the sim joy 🙈
I as Qubic System if they will be at the expo but they won’t which is a shame.
I really try to push things and organize something with Imsim and Qubic System so there will be a chance for people to test this beauty at the expo but let’s see if that will work.
This product really must be on the Expo in my opinion.
Hopefully they provide a better, inaudible, power supply in the future. Then I absolutely want one :)!
The PSU is ok but that fan is like turbine 😁
Great times ahead for you brother 💪😃
Might even be Moza

Hi, do you know if it s nearly the same feeling as the "Tension R pro " from PT ACTUATOR ?
The price is nearly the same but I am already bound to SimRacing Studio software for dof H3 and I don t no if having one sofware more is a good idea.
Have already Steam VR, Virtual desktop, ovrmotion compensation, SRS, Moza and crew Chief running . That s a lot
I pressed like when I saw ya grinning on the kerbs lol. I am guessing the immersion is amplified in VR?
🤣🤣🤣
Hugs brother 🤗😁
That's correct 🤪👍
Pimax Crystal 😎
@@Rave-agent i still haven’t set my VR on that rig but i promise to do so soon!
With VR this things must be multiplied 😃
I've felt abs in real life many times. I've been racing for a year now and i still don't feel the ABS in iracing. I only check the lights on the dashboard for it 😂
I also want to start making simracing videos, what software do you use for recording and editing your videos?
That’s awesome buddy 💪
We need as many creators as possible to grow our beautiful sim world 💪
I use different cameras but for the onboards I use the GoPro 10 and then I use the OBS for the TVcamers and sound and i edit the videos in Premier Pro 🤛
Nice 👍🏻 that’d ad even more to a motion set up. If I didn’t have so many bills 😁 just covering living expenses is hard enough.
Hope you will find the way at some point to enjoy yourself brother 🤗
Bills those days are crazy indeed 🙈
Cool
Thanks for the review.
I Have a question do you feel the engine vibration effect keep the belt compressed you all the time?
Like it compress all the excess play in the belt and always keeps you compressed.
They have bit much compression for my taste indeed!
They will probably fix that easy with small update!
I have to suggest that to the QS team
@@chepilevski yes I was also thinking to talk with them.
Thank you
Hi Chepy... Great review as usual... I what to have the same smile... 😄 Can you tell us what Sabelt belts are you using?
Thx brother 🤗
That’s very old 6 point model i found many years ago out of homologation for 100€
They are all basically the same and if you look on the net, you may find some out of homologation for very good price 💪😃
sabelt.eu/en/steel-series-saloon/2-X335S633SU2F.html
Hey buddy, I’m far from my rig but I remember what I use so,
Brake effect checked
Side acceleration checked
Centrifugal effect checked
Vertical effects checked
All those are set to strength 1.7
Next effect are
Rumble strips
Bounce effect up to 12
Gear changes both on max 2.5
Side slip effect
And lastly the ABS with frequency 30hz
The reast is off !
@@chepilevski awesome, thanks mate.
Thanks!!!
Man, you will love this thing 💪❤️
I’m 180cm and if I seat correctly in the seat, the holes are just two centimeters lower then my shoulder but that’s not problem at all for the experience of the belt tensioner 🤛
Good morning from Australia. I love your videos talked a couple times to u. This belt tensioner setup what are your thoughts on it with no motion still worth it still amazing until get motion 😀
Hi brother 🤗
I haven’t fire up the motion the last few weeks because i wanted to get the maximum from the belt tensioner and I have to admit i didn’t missed much the motion!
It's nice to hear u dont miss motion too much I was saving for it but then seen this belt product 😊
You know ... at some point I'm beginning to wonder what my electricity bill will going to be if I end up getting all these toys.
Already got like 3 power supplies attached to my rig and now more electric motors to consider.
I’m afraid to check that too bro 🙈
Last year I had to pay like 170€ extra but at the end of the calendar year but not sure if some of that is not coming from the inflation 😁
If you have to choose only one, would you choose motion or belt tensioner?
The belt tensioner wining for few reasons definitely!
Way simpler yet at the same time gives illusion of g force which motion can’t recreate, also covers very well the haptic feedback almost like the motion kit and is way more affordable!
Thanks for another great review brother🤘 is there a chance that maybe you can review the SRT V10 diy shifter ? It seems a pretty interesting and very successful project. I would appreciate it 🤙 thank you !
Thanks buddy 🤛
I don’t know if I will have the chance to do that but if I have I will for sure 🤛
@@chepilevski thanks for explaining. I see it’s made in Poland. Well done, great product.
@@kristaps2010 those are the same guys from Motion Systems and they do one of the best simulators worldwide 💪
Just some cool stuff.
too bad my shoulders are too high in the seat for it. would probably have to take the bottom foam out and make a thinner version
I think I get more fun from the belt tensioner as it has so many effects and those G-Forces are really immersive 😃
I think I get more fun from the belt tensioner as it has so many effects and those G-Forces are really immersive 😃
@ Thanks!!
so if you could buy only one: this or a motion system like the Sigma DK2, which one would you get?
My choice will be this as i feel more immersed with it the the motion!
Together both make incredible experiences but if i have to choose only one will be the belt tensioner 🤛
Thanks for answering so quickly. I still have one question. In the menu under shift it says "It is recommend to disable this effect for H pattern shifter" Thats a bummer, as I love driving older cars in assetto corsa. Have you tried the shift effect with H pattern cars ? How does it feel?
I will try it today and let you know how it feels buddy 🤛

9G is quite crazy.😃
Is not like the real 9g which take the blood in our heals as is different but is the weight we will experience on the belts which is still impressive 😁
What harness are you using ? Or any that you recommend ? I am not sure what harness would be best
To be honest, all FIA belts are the same and won’t matter in use! I suggest to look on internet for belts which are going out of homologation or already out as they cost third of the price! I found my Sabelt for 100€ which usually cost 300€
Can't wait for my belt tensioner to arrive
Can’t wait to hear from your experience once you get it 💪
Speaking of discord think you'll ever make your own server?
Hey man, I haven’t created one because I want to be active with the community and I’m not sure I have time to be active there 🙈
@@chepilevski I figured it was for a reason such as that.
Could you make a video just talk about the type of movement etc...
You should bring a pulley system to Your rig for less friction on your seatbelts👍
I saw the 3d part and looks like great solution brother 💪
@@chepilevski Yes there are good ones out there, and I agree with You, belt tensioners are awesome, man😃👍
Hi, received the unit today, all installed, but before I boot up I have one question. I have no motion and confused by the manual, its unclear. Do I need to plug in the motion lock jumper or not? Not sure what this means/does. Sorry to be so thick 😊 Regards, Pete
Yes buddy, you need to plug it in to work!
Great video!! Because of this video i will get this belt system. My question is: what belt do you use and do you have a link to the belts you use?
Hey man, the belts I use are very old and I got them many years ago with huge discount because where out of homologation!
All you need to do is is just such for 4 point FIA belts from Sabel, Sparco, OMP, stant21 or even Beltenik which are the cheapest option and are the same quality!
@@chepilevski Thx for you quick response!
5 point should fit this application better
@@ryanchenoweth5673 no bro, I have it on 6 points and 4 points and the effects feels absolutely the same but with 4 my nuts are comfy.
Just have to tide a lot the bottom left and right side to not pull the locker up🤛
@@chepilevski interesting thanks mate. Can anyone else chip in on this?
Does it have resuscitation mode?
Does it have haptic feedback? Can you feel the engine rpm?
Yes buddy, tons of haptic feedback.
Engine,Tire lock, abs, rumble strips, gear change, wheel sleep and I’m probably missing few more.
Which game is it where he drives the Subaru?
That’s iRacing with the RX cars and tracks buddy 🤛
I wonder if the new Samsung 3d glasses free monitors could work on a rig like this
I never heard of those buddy🤔
Must make research as sounds interesting
@@chepilevski not released yet but has been shown at some tech demos
@@StickyPlasters I hope will work at close distance and it looks like there must be perfect physical position for the side monitor to not get the warp effect but man, if that works will be crazy 😁
@@chepilevski yeah can’t think how the side monitors would work, but hopefully there’s a solution
❤
Does it get in the way of trying to be competitive, as in feeling like a distraction that takes away some of the focus from your inputs? Иначе страхотно качество в продукцията на всеки клип!
I guess that will be subjective from person to person. For me personally, it helps me relax my shoulders in the braking and turning zone which helps me to feel bit more the FFB coming from the wheel base!
Blagodarnosti bratle 🤛
You can combine belt with motion platform...?
Yes man, they compliment each other 💪

what about to have both motion system and BT1 system? it's better?
They complement each other for sure but I found I stop feeling the kick of the gears trough the motion as I did before the belt tensioner which means some effects are more direct from the belts!
Of course, the vertical forces are great coming from the rig and some haptic effects are more defined like rumble strip!
For sure they compliment each other a lot !
are you using a 4 point harness or 5 point?
Those are 6 points but I use only two side points and not those between my legs! Ones i de touched those become way more comfortable without losing any of the feeling
