For me, I love the tasting notes. Many channels just mix and present the drink, and say cheers. I never go back to those channels. So, be descriptive! Great job

Oh for sure, I totally agree! Im just learning so I love the feedback. Did you like the end where I had Erin taste the drinks?

First video , good job! My recipes for the old fashioned and the Manhattan use opposite spirits. I go bonded or boozy rye in my manhattans and bourbon in my old fashioned. I like the floral note of cognac AND rye in my sazerac. All the same enjoyed your effort!

Nice! I've definitely done the reverse and I wasn't sure which way to go, I just went with this cause ive made sooooo many HH bourbon manhattans :).. As far as the sazerac, I've heard of that, but ive ACTUALLY never had one. I think I'll do a single drink vid on the sazerac one day and adress the different variations. BTW.. back to the old fashion, have you had a Wisconsin old fashion?

Congratulations! Nice, simple take on classic cocktails. My order of preference: rye Manhattans, vieux carrés (with armagnac instead of cognac), sazeracs (with a bit more absinthe and an expressed lemon peel), rye Old Fashioneds with a bit of maple or honey-ginger syrup. Keep up the good work!

I like a bit more absinthe in my Sazerac. Tequila is my preferred spirit when imbibing, but absinthe was for years. - Dangerous! :)

Nicely done! If this was your "humble beginnings", you're going to do great. Good luck with the channel!

It really is. So that means a lot to hear you say that! Cant wait till these are as easy as natural as actually bartending, and I hope you follow along to see that happen. One foot in front of the other!

It's a very good first video. Simple, yet quite informative and precise. Congrats. I like a lot the "La Louisiane" cocktail, cousin of the Sazerac and Vieux carré : Rye, vermouth, Bénedictine, Peychaud, absinthe, on the rockes. Cheers

Yep. really hoping to improve and grow, and I hope people enjoy watching that happen! I love the challenge, and 20 years of drink making - this seemed like the logical step in the right direction! Thanks!

It didn't suck. Not at all. Clear, concise information, well presented. Good job on the classics! Oh and I've never even heard of vieux carre before today. lol

Oh yeah! I hope have some fun with that. right now I'm just learning the ropes with the camera and editing. it's also hard honestly to talk to the camera. I thought it would be easy. Much respect to those who have it mastered.
