I removed the cat on mine and not only decreased the heat in the engine and for the passenger but it sounds mean. It breathes better I have the same pipes. I love them, Enjoy.
Great Video! I'm picking up my new 2023 107 black and chrome Street Glide in 2 days as i'm having these 4.5" DBX45's ( chrome with black end caps) installed as well as new chrome front forks with front lowering springs prior to me taking delivery of my new bike. I almost purchased the 4" version exhaust but the parts guy strongly suggested these were the ones to buy? After watching this video I think I made a great choice and it looks and sounds great! ! I will however admit I am surprised how good your stock pipes sound as that stock sound is not bad at all. This is my first new bike in 26 years and I remember my then new stock EVO pipes were silent and I just assumed the stock pipes now would be the same. Now after I do my 500 mile break-in will be time to do the 128! Thanks for the great video as I was questioning my exhaust choice.
Congrats on the new bike. The Rinehart slip on is a great choice. The regular camera mic doesnt do it justice. The stock sound is louder than in real life and the rinehart is lower on camera. go figure. Also if you want quite a bit louder I have heard Tab exhaust and they are good as well. If you want louder that is.
My last bike had the Rinehart's and I loved them, especially when they get some miles on them, they just keep sounding better and better. Current bike, a 2017 CVO I picked up used with only 5K on it still has stock. I'm gonna try drilling out the centers of the rear baffles, and see what that's like before dropping 500 plus bucks. Beautiful bike and pipes. My 2002 Heritage Softail has 2 to 1 Reinhart pipes. My every day bike 2016 Road Glide special has factory. These are. Must haves. Ride safe.
I love the deeper sound and it's built solid. I thought it would look too big on the bike but I can't see myself getting anything smaller if I had to do it all over again.
The stock sounds good for a stock. But in real life it's not that loud and a bit muted. The DBX sou ds great especially when you hear it with headphones. Thanks for watching.

Hey, great vid on comparing the slip ons. Did you inquire with your dealer first about installing the Rineharts to see if it will impact your factory warranty? From what I head only Screaming Eagle pipes will maintain your warranty.
Thank you. I don't think warranty should void, no service person has told me to make sure I get the pipes installed from harley to keep the warranty. All harley dealerships sell these pipes and installation is not complicated. What they have said that changing the air filter and tuning the bike using anything other than screaming eagle will void warranty.

Great video ! Rineharts sound deep and not too loud compared to V&H… did you ever consider buying screamin eagle mufflers ? Do you know how they sound compared to the Rinehart ?

I have the Street Canons ( or as I call em, street squirt guns ) on my 2020 RG Limited and I would tell anybody not to waist time on those. Not much better than stock.
Replace your stock headers and you will get real sound. I have Cobra Neighbor Haters with stock headers and the sound was ok, but i just replaced my stock headers with Cobra headers (no cat) and she sounds 10x better. The headers are about the same price as the slip ons but the engine seems to run cooler also. Had to get a tuner also so that adds a bit more to the price but well worth it. Now debating on cams, they are cheap but the labour for cams is a bitch. Here in Canada the labour is $150/hour and assuming 3-4 hours so maybe $600 to put in a $250 SE-555 cam. Not sure its worth it to me.

Good luck. I just recently swapped the Rinehart out for a full exhaust system by Khrome Werks and feel that the Rineharts are still a bit louder.

Kinda surprised at how good the stock exhaust sounds, the Rinehart's do give it that little extra though.
Yeah the stock exhaust came out louder than normal on the video and the rineharts are actually louder in person than in the video. Go figure.
