Just installed this on my RK yesterday. Compared to stock, it's like the sound of a housecat to the sound of a lion. This is what a Harley should sound like.
Met rider today with a set of these. They looked huge so I commented that they must sound loud and mean. So he fired it up. Nope. Too quiet. My V&H sound much better to me. They bark but not too loud. First bike I've ridden without ear plugs.
I agree. My buddy tried Rinehardts and neither of us were impressed. He put his Vance and Hines pro pipe back on. I have the long shots on my Road King. Nice in town and serious bark when I roll the throttle hard.
@@mikedanaher3413 Everyone has a preference of what is loud enough or too loud. I buy pipes for the true sound of the after market products that convey the true harley signature sound. "loudness "(volume) is not always good. I am sure at some point a guy has driven by your house playing objectionable music that was offensive to your ears. he or she thought they were rocking it. Not really. The beauty of the Harley sound is not the loudness(volume). It is the deep resonance that does not need volume. It is a sound that resonates in the body and not the ears. Deep low notes don't need direction, hence why sub woofers only need one source. I have the new V&H on my 2020 Road Glide Limited. I like them but do not love them. My last bike (Road Glide 2011 had Reinhart true duals ). At idle the Reinharts exhibit the "potato potato" low notes accentuated with the slight metallic barks and rasps that evoke the essence of the older (less restricted) motors. The V&H is just a ramble of noise and annoyance . I had no issues when I had Reinharts on my last bike, stating it up and listening to the symphonic drones of that exhaust whilst downing my helmet and riding gear was a joy. I cant say that for the V&H. They are an assault on my sensibilities. With the power on its sounds like I am milling corn with the deep horizon drill rig. Too much grinding for the amount of noise and trouble. Frankly the factory stock sewing machine sound is no less pleasing but less harsh and offensive to my auditory senses. This just became about me not and no about you liking loud pipes. They do save lives! Cheers. Sorry for the rant.
@@Tomsyourbuddy Well said... I have a 2020 Lowrider s, and am not sure if I even need pipes! The natural quiet rumble sounds good... maybe a little louder would be ok! I had Screaming Eagle pipes on my Sportster and they ring your ears, but sounded good! I may eventually get some pipes, either Reinhart or Krome Werks.
Excellent video, I need to know there are slip-ons you can get, Took a ride on 2021 Road King the sound was horrible! slip-on doesn't break the warranty, I like these. Then after 2 years change out headers', I need loud, looking at Tab Bams w/ zombie baffles aftermarket headers is what I will change too.
I ride the Sport Glide and I have three options. Rinehart, advertises a slip on made for the SG and The Cobra Neighbor Haters or the 909's. I have decided to go with the Rinehart 4". Great video. Very helpful.
I'm a Vance n Hines lover but Rhineharts do sound great on Glides. That's what sold me for my '14 SG. Plus the baffles are out. Oh......it sounds like a Chevy 350 now.
I have the Rhinehart on my 2014 CVO Limited, Love them. I loved the video. Would you share what video camera were you using. I'm looking for a good ride camera. Thanks !
Good video. Thanks. I think people confuse volume and tone. Excessive volume is just unnecessary. Those guys aren't impressing anybody with their schoolboy mentality. They're just storing-up problems for the rest of us. Keep on the right side of restrictive legislation and show a bit of consideration. Reinhart sounded great to me, by the way.
Hi there nice bike and nice video , I have a question what do you advice me I have a road glide special 21 I love listen good quality sound music on it but it is time to change the whole exhaust do you think rineharts is the one that I need ? Thanks …
Great Demonstration video ,,, one question though? ,, are you running stock pipe or a Reinhart True dual header system ? Nice sled. I have a '16 Raodglide Special.
Hey bro, great video! I want these slip ons for sure. I bought a new limited last fall and these will be perfect. Did you install any kind of tuner with these? I hear so much back and fourth with all of this when it comes to slip ons with the m8 engines.
I have done research about the tuner. If you just add slip on mufflers no tuner needed. But if you add the header or you upgrade air cleaner you do need a tuner. To make it more clear if you were to start with just changing the air cleaner you would need the tuner. The reason for the tuner is to update your parameters as you add performance parts and it makes sure your motorcycle runs great. With no tuner and added performance parts it will lose power because the motorcycle computer will be set with stock parameter vs. the computer knowing you have added other upgrades or performance parts. So as time goes by and you keep replacing parts to performance all you have to do is an update using your tuner to keep it updated. Hope this helps.
@@jaybarber958 For me it's the sound. Don't get me wrong I like my Rinehart's, I just wish they were a bit louder. The KW in my opinion have a meaner sound that seems to be a bit louder
New to your channel, great content and plan on sticking around. Considering Rineharts for my 2019 Triglide. Do I need a tuner with these? Thanks, Larry.
Hello do you know if these slip ons reduce back pressure. I heard today from a harley mechanic that reducing back pressure on an M8 reduces torque but increases horse power. I prefer to keep the torque? Great video btw.
I have Rinehart on a 07 ultra classic and they sound nothing like that more like a race car first thing in the morning wish I knew how to make a recording
other than an appearance upgrade, your wasting your money making noise w/no balls, UNLESS you upgrade the header pipes w o cats. throw in a pair of heavier cams, S&S cam plate and oil pump...then you're STARTING to make a true performance difference. upgrade the throttle body, heads, and fuel injectors...now you're adding some balls
Just installed this on my RK yesterday. Compared to stock, it's like the sound of a housecat to the sound of a lion. This is what a Harley should sound like.
You described Rineharts perfectly! Low, deep, mellow, but not annoying. I had them on my 2016 Tri-Glide. Loved them.
True, microphones don't do exact justice but this was a solid side by side comparison and representation ...well done!!!
I’ve got Rinehart slipons on my 2019 Heritage 114, it a big difference over the stock pipes, I love em.
Well I want to thank you for the video. Just bought a set of Rineharts and I can't wait to put them on my Ultra Ltd.
I replaced my stock pipes on my 2014 street glide with those 4 Rineharts. I love the sound.
Great review! Thanks for putting in the extra work to have the comparisons of both the stock and slip ons. Much appreciated
You did a hell of a good job on this video!
Sounds great! Thank you!
Tough to beat the sound of Rinehart.
The whistling sound on those stock pipes enraged me. Wtf is Harley thinking

phuk the pipes. when are you writing your next novel? geez my IQ just increased by 5 points by reading your COMMENTS😬
Definitely will be putting these on my 23 Road Glide 👌🏼
I have the same pipes on my 2019 SG only in chrome and I have to say the video doesn't do the pipes justice at all. They sound much better in person.

Love rineharts.....got a set on my 04 roadking 100" with fueling cams....pulls like a freight train for a 100"
Damn!! That sounds LOVELY!!!😂
I can hear the difference. I like Rinehart exhausts too, but Is it just me or does after market exhaust sound better on the twin cam motors?
Bro I've been watching you're videos for a while starting with Sunday gun day and I'm sold on reinhardt thank bro great videos
Thanks Man
Great video. Thanks for all the comparison clips.
Damn, them Rineharts are deep!
Haha the good ol vape hit while on the bike 🤙🏼👌🏼.

About to get me some Rinehearts on my 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob!
You did a good job with this presentation. Can you send me the link to the 4" inch vs 4.5" inch comparison video? thanks!
Excellent comparison video nice job with the editing too. Sounds much better with out blowing your ears out 👍🏻
i have rinehart 3.5 on my 2017 street bob and it sounds amazing 😎
I hope so I feel like I wasted my money on them. Only ever done full exhaust
great job love rineharts do you feel performance improvement ?

I have the same pipe's but added the head pipe to a x pipe and stage 1 it really woke up the motor
Nice!
I have the Rhinehart on my 2014 CVO Limited, Love them. I loved the video. Would you share what video camera were you using. I'm looking for a good ride camera. Thanks !
Do the rinharts have the baffles in or out.?
Sounds really good

Do these require tuning the ECU? Or you just slip them on and go?

SVT is beautiful and TAB Zombie is amazing.. the TAB is VERY Loud
Are they the stock handlebars? Thanks
Thank you for the video! It really did help me a lot!!!
excellent video...love the side by side...very well done.
What kid of mic and camera setup did you use? It was perfection...
much appreciated brotha, these sound great!
rinehart true duals is my goal, which is a cat renewal and a remap.
Great Video. Well Done. Thank You.

My bad ,, didn't see the header memo on the video , prior to asking. Yeah sounds great. Even better with the stage one setup.
No problem man
just right not too lout. Sound very good.

Stock actually sounds pretty good, better than stock pipes on the twin cams.
Very good video one of the best
What part number did you install from Rinehart?
Good video thank you!
Rhinehart’s on my 20 SG. Wish they were a little louder though.
New to your channel, great content and plan on sticking around. Considering Rineharts for my 2019 Triglide. Do I need a tuner with these? Thanks, Larry.
Not if you just do the slip ons. But the bike benefits from a tuner even if it's stock cause their leaned out from the factory.
Great video, thanks!
Is that Westcott?
Do the rhineharts drone in your helmet?
Thank you very much

I have the Rinehart on me Electra Glide Standard.
Love mine!
I think rineharts sound the best not to loud just right
is that in havelock
Do you have the hi flo baffles in the slip ons?
I have Rinehart on a 07 ultra classic and they sound nothing like that more like a race car first thing in the morning wish I knew how to make a recording
In high school I used loud exhaust noise to get attention.
Then I graduated.
Most guys run rineharts from my observation.
Nice pipes. But I’m still V&H dude.
Rineharts do sound good. Just not on your mic unfortunately lol. Still love the content 👍
Not much louder but a much better sound
I couldn’t tell. Are these true dual?
Badass!
Cobra neighbor haters half the price and sound so much better
Tab performance sound way better.
Rineharts sound btr as they break in
Rineharts and roar don’t belong in the same sentence. They aren’t much louder than stock Harley exhaust.
Back the camera/mic up by a significant distance to get much improved audio. Great video otherwise.
BREATHE AIR, YOU DON'T NEED A VAPE.
haha stock sounds better

Reinhardt sound better!
How about more horsepower,no
not much difference mabe a tiny bit
okay the second one sounds way better but still to tame for me
If u wanna hear ur stereo dont buy v&h's
Great video thanks
