Well, now that you've done this song, you've got to do _Nasty_
Yes!!!
It’s mandatory.
This was great!! Please do Janet’s song Nasty next!!!
vbvermont yes! I requested that when she posted this one!
That is Paula Abdul as the friend at the table talking to Janet. Paula also choreographed the video before she became famous.
Yeah... During this period, Paula was the head cheerleader and choreographer for the LA Lakers cheerleaders. Her first album dropped shortly after this.
Pretty sure I saw Pebbles as one of the background dancers.
Pretty sure that was not Paula's voice coming out of Paula's mouth though lol.
ImmortalBroken LOL, you are absolutely right that was actually Janet’s friend Melody, voice not Paula’s
Paul D No, that was my pebbles in the background. Pebbles, could barely do a two step. 😆
I’m more than ready for her to see “Miss You Much”
When they kick the choreography up about 10 notches.
Another sassy song is "I'm Looking For A New Love" by Jody Watley - she has a lot of great songs, great fashion & style!
Yes react to Ms. watley. The first to say Hasta la vista, Baby!!
Janet has a huge catalog of hits!!
In this same era, Nasty and Control. Moving into the 90's, That's The Way Love Goes, Again, If, Escapade, Any Time Any Place, Black Cat, Miss You Much. All great songs!!
Don’t forget The Pleasure Principal
@@coreypeavy Definitely a great one to add!
Love Will Never Do Without You. Number 1 hit for Janet in 1990:)
Time for Rhythm Nation......
Her album "Control" was everything when it came out!
It's been a long while since I've seen her old videos. You're right....it was a LONG time ago. Sigh.
This was Janet's first single, Paula Abdul is to Janet's left in the last dance segment in the white blouse and white ribbon in her hair. she choreographed a lot of Janet's first few videos, but I always admired how Janet made the dance look like she made it up herself!! Please Please do Pleasure Principle!! and If, or the whole video special video event of Rhythm Nation
Rhythm Nation please.
This was Janet's first single off of the Control album which was her third album.
@@40EastTrill Heh, her first two albums are chopped liver ;p
@@fnjesusfreak Lmao..... yeah but they were still her first 2 albums.
They still count lol
Janet Jackson! Her music is so high energy and her choreography is off the charts! India, you 😊 made my day! Thank you.🥰❤️
Actually, Paula Abdul choreographed that one and others for Jackson around that time.
@@JC-yb3zb I was aware of that. I meant to say that Janet's dance moves were awesome. Wish I'd been able to dance like that. Thank you.😊
You should really react to Black Cat. I think it's the best thing she's ever done!
I agree with that.
I think anyone doing reaction videos need to watch Black Cat. It's got excellent choreography, musicality and videography!
This song, when it came out, became the new ladies anthem and overtook "I will survive". It was BIG with women.
"Janet Jackson's got a hit record, 'What Have You Done For Me Lately?'...The record starts off like that: 'I know he used to do shit for ya, but what has he done for you lately?'..." -- Eddie Murphy, RAW.
And the fellas like that funky groove, this is one of Janet’s best R&B grooves!!
Huge Janet Stan here!!! You’ve just gained a new subscriber here. Because I love your reactions to her video. Janet is my all time favorite artist. And she has a huge catalog so l look forward to seeing more.
When I think of you and What have you done for me lately are just the tip of the iceberg. She has so many awesome songs and videos.
Do you agree she was better than her bro
“Nasty “ and “Lets wait a while.” Musts’! ✨❤️✌️✨
She was groundbreaking when she came out! I was a kid in dance class back then..and I wanted so bad to be her and Paula! Plus..My name is Janet, also. If I had a dollar every time someone asked me if I was Ms. Jackson if they were nasty..I would be SO rich right now! lmao!
Rythmn Nation is a must watch video. And must listen album. Sooooo gooood.
I could watch Janet Jackson all day everyday
Wait until you react to the Nasty video. Janet was playing no games in heels killing the dance, the attitude, you name it.....Janet is the one!
Janet's one of the best to ever do it. Great stuff. More Janet, please!
Also those shoulder pads under her black blazer are a mood 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Guilty of wearing something very close to that
JANET JACKSON IS THE BEST OF THE WORLD🌍‼ we need more of her.. more more new music too..‼🇵🇪‼🇵🇪🌐🌐🌷🌷🌷
Janet was the bomb when I was a kid. I loved her music and videos, and she could dance her a-- off.
I had this tape in the 80s. I played it so much it finally broke on a rewind.
I remember when this video & song came out. It blew everyone's socks off. I think her brother Michael
was a bit jealous that he didn't do the song. Hot track, and still is.
While she had already made 2 albums before...this was the song and album that finally set her on her iconic path, and we've all been behind her since day one...that "Control" album had 6 big singles come off of it...and those hits still rock any old school party! 👍🏿😁🎵🎶
Classic :) Rythem Nation, Escapade, Pleasure Principle would be my suggestions. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
The list of Miss Jackson’s songs you could do is almost endless. I won’t even attempt to name my favorites because there are too many.
Old school Janet🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Check out miss you much I love that video so much it’s so fantastic
Another 80's classic
20 years later and still crushing on her!!
I think you would really love Rhythm Nation!! Nasty! If! I get so lonely! Alright and The pleasure principle.
Catch phrase of the 80's "What Have You Done for me Lately?" Loved Janet Jackson. Also liked her when she was on the TV show "FAME" great dance album "Control"
Loving this JANET Jackson journey! I know you get loads of request from commenters but I would totally be okay with you exploring more of her videos, she has some brilliant vids that would be great to see your reaction too like I Get Lonely and Got Til It’s Gone! ❤️😃
INDIA Thank you so so so much ...for react to JANET 's SONG... This song is my favorite ever... react to SOMEONE TO CALL MY LOVER BR JANET..Regards from PERÚ🇵🇪‼‼‼
Can you imagine what it was like growing up listening to this music and the videos that came with them? It was glorrrriuuuus! MTV and the music industry totally dropped the ball for the following generations.
Love me some Miss Jackson. I sware she had so many songs and videos I love. She always makes me smile.
This was one of my first records. I would love to hear Black Cat and Rhythm Nation. Both great songs and videos. A couple of years later in her career. Oh, Nasty Boys is another one.
I loved that line "Soap Opera says".. That was my Soap back in the day! Please listen to "NASTY" next India.
"Pleasure Principal" it's just Janet in the video and awesome choreography! "If" also has some ground breaking choreography.
These old school music videos from Janet were so fun!
This was of the first Janet solo stuff...all the dancers in the vids, slightly heavier here, all the layers of wardrobe in what she wore, all the supporting cast of dancers and people in all her vids....this was the only Janet people knew, the she released PLEASURE PRINCIPLE, with a stripped down look and she went hard...and it took everyone by storm about have you seen Janet now?! PLEASURE PRINCIPLE was when she turned the corner as a solo artist, and shed all of this supporting cast they always surrounded her with early on in her solo career....PLEASURE PRINCIPLE was just her, a new look, and she scorched it.
I love Janet. Good memories used to make dances to her music. I was like 9 dreaming of being one of her back up dancers😂. Paula abdul taught her to dance.
fkn love Janet. She has soooooo many years of great music/videos and performances
I was so obsessed with this album in middle school
She's absolutely amazing.
Like to see more of Janet Jackson reactions....PLEASE!!!!
Janet was speaking for all of us. These were her glory years.
You can see Paula Abdul in here as one of the backup dancers. At this time Paula did most of Janet's & others choreography. She's also in Janet's Nasty video. Paula then released her album.
Now you know why Janet Jackson her brother and so many owned the 80s and 90s
Love it, India. JJ was mandatory listening in my high school. Please do “Nasty” next. And If you want a cool Paula Abdul song to react to, my fave is “My Love is for Real”. 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
..Jammin' Janet Jackson back in the day. ;)
NASTY!!! That’s your shocker lol
Love this song! Such a great beat, great video!
Oooo girl Janet Jackson has some jams! So many I could recommend: Nasty, Escapade, If, Rhythm Nation, That’s The Way Love Goes... 💜
I remember when they used 2 do the Pop-Up Videos on VH1 (I believe) that in 1 of her videos (Rhythm Nation) it said that she was so hard on herself that if she didn't feel her dancing wasn't good enough...she would make them reshoot til she felt she got it right. Dedication ❤️
Word for word - from the beginning of the video to the very end.....I looooooooved this video when I was young!
Oh yeah!!!!! More Janet please!!??
🤘❤🤘😁✌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You need to hear Janet's Love Will Never Do Without You. To me, it's her best song!
All I can see in my mind is Janet Jackson playing the character Penny on the tv show Good Times! Makes me smile😉 She was probably 10-12 years old then.
Janet's swag has always been on 100.
Love love love Janet. Thank you.
You need to react to Come Back To Me, my personal favorite song of hers
Beautiful song and video!
Ok how has someone honestly never heard this song or seen this video? I'm like this still gets radio play!
Janet jackson,- PLEASURE PRINCIPAL
I can not believe this is a new song for you but I am LOVING watching it through your eyes lol The friend at the table was Paula Abdul and Paula was also the choreographer of this video. This entire album was fire to me including every video she dropped from this album
I couldn't click on this fast enough!!
Janet was the worlds top female late 80's to mid 90's One of my favorites
I was told in highschool I couldn't wear my Janet Shirt. (Almost all white school). Principal took me to his office told me to turn it inside out or take it off. I flipped him off and walked out if his office half the school was outside and cheered when I came out still wearing the shirt...I wasn't expelled After lots of support from start and students.. Don't bow down
Fun Fact: Janet's love interest in this video (and this person was the love interest in at least one other of her videos "Escapade", and a video by Pebbles "Mercedes Boy")... has since transitioned. She now goes by Lana Huston.
I love Janet and this song is a fave!!
I thought they were going to dance a hole in the restaurant floor 😄 one of all time favs
It's refreshing to see this one.
Wouldn't you love that whenever we have a disagreement we could dance instead of fighting? Seems like it worked out in these children's lives. lol
She never got the respect her brother did not reached his heights. But in her own way, she was every bit as important and dominant as he was. The Jacksons absolutely redefined music through the 80s and 90s.
Those moves, her voice = amazing. Always love Janet Jackson.... check out Rhythm Nation!
Janet has some really awesome music - her videos were top notch! ( still are )
That’s iconic snake move!!!
Your reactions are everything?! So awesome seeing you discover her and her artistry. If you're gonna do her, you really should do her videography in order. Then you will see the growth from album to album and how unique each one is.
Pleasure Principle official Video is amazing by her!
It's funny. Through the ages, ladies continue to ask this question of guys.
Rhythm Nation was my anthem! The video is fantastic!
Thank you! I love early Janet.
Paula Abdul did the choreography and played Janet's friend at the beginning of this video.
Via Wikipedia: "Jackson shared in her book True You in 2011 that her recording company thought it was important that she appeared thinner in the video:
'I'd been told that my whole life, but at this critical juncture, with my career taking off, I didn't have the wherewithal to argue. We [she and Paula Abdul] shared a house and spent weeks exercising [in Canyon Ranch]. I was as motivated as ever to come out on top. I felt good when it was over. I enjoyed the compliments about my "new" shape. I shot the video and did in fact reshape my image.'"
Oh, now you have to react to Janet's "When I Think of You". Awesome video. And Paula Abdul taught Janet all those moves.. :-)
Fun fact, this song is about her marriage to James Debarge and it was recorded after the album Control was completed. Janet went back to the studio because a label executive wanted more uptempo songs for her album
Love it! Keep jammin Janet Jackson
I just realized it’s because of Janet that i always look like i hate everyone while I’m dancing. It adds dramaaaaaaa.
I see you are doing Janet Jackson...you would prob love "That's the way love goes" official video".....J Lo is in this video..she was very young
This was a fun video! Paula Abdul makes cameo as the friend and she also choreographed the video and others by Janet like “Nasty”! React to that one and “The Pleasure Principle “!
I had this on cassette, wore it out~ bought another cassette!😃❤
My favorite off this album is "The Pleasure Principle."
Always a JJ fan she is amazing and talented af!
Janet is still killing it. Check out "Damn Baby"
Hunny. That was the sh*t in the 80s. Miss Paula Abdul was the one that asked her .."What has he done for you lately" I was 16. And she was the "It"
Pleasure principle!!!
I read the title, and right away started singing LOL
Pleasure Principal is my favorite song by Janet.
Don't tell any of my buddies this, but, this song hooked me on Miss Jackson. Black Cat is my favorite.
I remember dressing that way 😊💕🇺🇸
You are my favorite music video critic!....Love It!
Check out her song and video Black Cat.
Ahhhh! The music of my childhood ^_^
