In the DrumRack, you can also convert those to the new Drum Sampler and save that as a default, in your Drum Rack. I am generally happy about the browser now and I am glad that I did not go through and tag every single thing. I am currently going through samples and adding a few other tags, but they are generally in the correct places, which was a nice bump in 12.1. Thanks!
Yes, you can. Didn't fit into this video topically though. I have planned to make a video on the Drum Rack, because there are a lot of small features that were added. Happy to hear you're doing well with the browser now. I'm still torn, but that's likely to do with having so many packs, that are still completely untagged.

The clogged screen, the crowdedness and all those tags make me still use Live 10 instead of 12 that I bought last year. In a way your video shows it only got worse. Next update they will get rid of those annoying tracks 😆10 feels like a Sea of Tranquility to me.
I do understand what you mean, but I showed the worst of it. I also have another video in which I show how I optimised the browser to make it less messy and more useful. I don't love the new browser, but some things are better, others worse. Also it depends on if you're team folders or camp tags. We're likely both team folders.

I remember we tended to agree in a previous video. I was a software designer for a while and now I try to imagine which plugins are a joy to work with when it comes to preset browsers or menus (and which aren't)(I might be foolish, but I think that makes me use a plugin more or less often).

I'm not impressed either, I am on 11, bought 12 but do NOT like the browser changes. These changes should be optional... I want to keep the organization I already have. So much wasted screen space on tagging and naming ugh.
