Well i can pick up 2024 not 2025 LOL. How many games had the X factor? Yet 2023 was the best one so far the previous ones synching screen 24/7 EA never fixed that at all. NHL 2024 i think they made the hitting a lot different!
The Winnipeg clip had me balling. I forgot scheifele loved hugging the post on the rush, I think he may have blocked the shot as well. EA are shameless , again they are exploiting our loyalty. Same with FIFA, same with Madden.
They make these clips against Rookie level AI difficulty so they can get the clips that they want to showcase as getting these types of clips against superstar AI would take a lot more playing time.
I wish for some logos, jerseys templates to customize in offline modes. Nhl 25 seems like it's a package of minor stuff. The future doesn't look too promising with those devs.
The PC Pirates feel the same way as you, love puck, hate EA. We just wait for it on game pass now. Last one we paid for was 21 when it was on sale for like $40. We refuse to front them money for roster/patch updates every year. Need more people boycotting, it's the only way things will change.
I'm still on NHL 20 on ps4 at year 20+ on my franchise team lol. Refuse to buy a new NHL until ported to pc or they actually do something besides roster updates

I honestly think its gonna be different, being on current gen only gives them so much potential to fully smooth the game play and add reactive animations. You can see it in the game play. Of course it will feel different once you play it, but from impressions of youtubers who got to play it they say it feels different. AI will always feel like ass no matter what but atleast they try to enhance it. AI being adaptive to your position and face you and the puck to open game play is a plus. Seriously just give it a chance and see. I am not defending EA but unless 2k picks up the franchise we have to make due. And i really think they are trying.

Flawed but we still played them and had fun. Times changed now and i know most ppl perfection from devs but corporate politics ruined game making and the experience for us gamers

Well, I'm gonna be fucked about the new one-timers. I can't get a a game with a decent connection with anyone on HUT/Online Versus/WOC no matter what time of the day I try to play, so I guess one-timers are not gonna be for me.

HUT and CHEL are why the game never changes year to year. They know to play online, you’re going to get the new game. The game started going way downhill once the online modes took over and they realized they could sell card packs. I know CHEL seems like it’s the main reason for the complete lack of investment in improving this game, but HUT is just as guilty. I’m out, there’s nothing about this year’s game that is going to convince me to buy it. I’ve bought or was gifted every game since NHLPA 93, but 23 and 24 were enough to put an end to it. So little put into the offline modes, which is what I play, there’s just not reason to buy it again. Maybe NHL 26 will be different

I actually stopped palying NHL24 after a few weeks because I just found it dull and I have no reason to think NHL25 will be any better and these early trailers haven't done anything to dispel that.

I really wish they'd do something to the lighting the shading or whatever is happening that is making everything look like melted plastic the jerseys look atrocious its really obvious on the Vegas one.
Ive played nearly every nhl since 03 and im at my wall with yearly release sports titles and their minimal effort and disrespect towards us die hards. 24 was it for me as far as buying on release, that was the worst nhl game ive ever touched and im still mad i spent 100 canadian dollars on it.. im going to keep saying this, but truly we deserve better. End. Yearly. Releases.
