I wouldn’t exactly say out of the blue. El Salvador has a lot of churches and people praying everyday for that country! They prayed hard to G-d to have a change. They even preach in busses, on the streets and the markets!
Facts. El Salvador is truly lucky and blessed because so many presidents are corrupt. Look at Mexican president they could care less about the people as long as they benefit from the cartels the killings will continue.
So many stories that haven't been told because the gangs would dissappear anyone that dare to speak. Horror stories, events that no human being should have to go through. All the victims; the women, the elder, the kids. It's easy for those who didn't experience it to criticize what Bukele is doing but it's not fair for the people of El Salvador. This part of our history, we should never forget.

My girlfriend has been living under the shadow of the gangs for decades now...she's a God fearing Christian woman and never has a bad word for anyone, not even for my ex wife...yet, when it comes to the pandilleros, she is very vocal about her happiness at their demise...she lost a cousin, shot in the face by a pandillero for no good reason...she was chased out of Auachapan when her mother died, having to flee with her father since an uncle employed MS13 rats to intimate them in giving up her mother's inheritance (a small house)...let them rot in prison, they are terrorists and deserve everything, happening to them now

My wife is from El Salvador and came to the United States during the civil war. We are planning a trip to visit friends and some family. I pray and am hopeful that El Salvdor will continue to prosper and give it's people the safety and pride they all deserve. Keep up the good work and stay the course.

I was born in El Salvador, left in 84 and last time I was there 1993. I swore never to go back, the gang violence was just too much. Now that President Bukele has cleaned up, I am looking forward to visiting once again! My kids share two things wirh President Bukele they are Salvadorean and Palestinian!😄
There was no gang violence in 1993, it started to get back after 1996 when Bill Clinton started deporting them.

@@veronicaana the president is encouraging foreign investors/ investments in the country and encouraging free citizenship. I think the goal is the new businesses will provide jobs for the locals. Right now in El Salvador there’s a shortage of many jobs (for grads and non grads) and there are many business sectors lacking investment/ experienced business folk. For example agriculture, IT, technology, computer sciences, import/ export, shipping receiving etc etc. Many ES people have done well out of the country but will they invest in their own country? We will see. Capitalism is about who gets there first and unfortunately there’s some cons that come with that…

These story's can be heard in all Latin America, the suffering of the people due to weak, incompetent and corrupt politicians, being bought off by gangs, or are complicit due to fear of retaliation from the gangs.
I don't know how Bukele pulled it off, but its the only president I have seen that has no fear of retaliation and the cartels are on the run in fear. There's story's of gang members of being in so much fear of being affiliated with gangs, they are burning and cutting off all tattoo's. Many are hiding in holes in the ground or leaving to neighbouring nations. Bukele has done a great thing. Now he needs to work with other Latin American nations, and issue bounty's for the capture of fleeing gangsters, either dead or alive. The tables have turned, let the hunting of cartels and gangsters begin. No mercy, no forgiveness, they must pay!

I'm salvadorian and was about to flee to the US myself, saved some money to look for a flight with a VISA and never let the goverment expell me from there. However things have changed and now i'm aquiring a terrain to start my own business here on my own country.
I lost so much from their crimes. To watch my loved ones join them and comit crimes themselfs as they tought that was the only option to live conftably. Girls going hard on drugs willingly or unwillingly and many friends that ended up joining on their "fun". I have no remorse or shame to wish they can engrave in their skins the real definition of "rot" in the little hell they made for themselfs in CECOT.

I was in to El Salvador in 2022 and I loved it! Beautiful country and beautiful people.
It is awesome to hear a national leader, the President, give glory to God and encourage their people to take heed in godly moral virtues. This gave me hope (and shed tears) as a Gen Z Christian to know that people are hungering after anything of God. The testimonies of the people finally gaining freedom, ah, Gloria Dios! Now been an American 💖but with my salvadorian 💖roots , I can only say that the changes happening in El Sslvador are surpassing by far many Countries. They were living in usa for long time ago and they are building their own home in our City, some of them are building mansions. No hay precedentes en la HISTORIA de un presidente que gozara de tanta popularidad y apoyo de su pueblo, es descomunal. No lo dejen de apoyar, él no tiene que ser más que la punta de lanza, de lo contrario se vuelve muy vulnerable (varios presidentes han sido asesinados en la historia, particularmente los buenos, cuidado). As an american, El Salvador is a better bet than Mexico. Why? If you become a mexican citizen, you can never renounce it ever again while in El Salvador you can renounce it AND can reapply for salvadoran citizenship again. El Salvador is the safest country in the western hemisphere, no property tax. I pay $200 dollars for garbage and water tax per year on a $500K US dollars house, an innovated country, a vastly improving infrastructure, investing potential, better educated people with their mannerisms, friendlier, more humble people/culture and a country on the rise on the right direction. Salvadorans are not nationalistic people compare to Mexico which makes it easier to assimilate with them.

I hate politics and politicians, but it's the first time that I like one, and that's Bukele for the simple reason that he doesn't just talks he backs it up with actions and not just words like the typical politicians that are just liars, I'm from El Salvador and I'm very happy with the change, God willing it continues but it won't be easy but with hard work and dedication it can be achieved.
You guys are getting more and more professional, your work with your videos is great.

I visited San Salvador, El Salvador last year. Amazing listening to this young man express the change. When I landed I felt the fear in the local community. I would walk from my hostal to the city center about 1 kilometer. People would suggest I take a taxi. All the streets had kioskos. Literally a week later. All the streets were void of all kiosks and human traffic. Cleared and cleaned. Painting of buildings started taking place. I will return! God bless Bukele for his efforts in directing his country out of all the violence those gang members caused. Huge improvement. Peace and progress.
