I’m Salvadoran born in the US and my sister and I both in our 30s sometimes discuss moving to ES because yeah the cost of living and politics in California are getting out of hand

This comment is not a criticism of anything in this video. It was great. You guys are great. And yay bitcoin! Don’t know much about it but hope it’s successful. A rising tide lifts all boats. A thought, an observation just came to mind as I watch and I would like to share it with all off you. Respectfully, my fellow US expats, please remember that we are guests in this beautiful country. Whether our politics are left or right, or none at all, I think all of us are here because there were things about our country that we didn’t like and we appreciate being in a free country that respects its people, respects the rule of law and puts the welfare of it’s people first. (80 degree weather all year long is just a plus.) I promise to leave my politics at the doorstep and make a new start of things here. I hope you do too. And please do not forget, our job is to assimilate to the Salvadoran culture, not the other way around. Blend in and don’t make spectacles of yourselves. Don’t insist that they speak your language. Learn Spanish, learn their culture, be polite, come out of your bubble and make friends. Salvadorans, as we are all discovering are amazing people. I would hope they say the same about us.
Absolutely, you make some excellent points. We are a firm believer of being respectful and honouring the ways of the country and it's people. We are learning Spanish unfortunately at a slower rate than we would like but we are getting there. We are fully aware that this is not our home country and we never wish impose such a horrible thing on this country. We came here for freedom because in the current climate our country has decided to make freedom illegal. We have so much gratitude for the kindness of everyone who have welcomed us with open arms. 🤗❤️🇸🇻
I being out of El Salvador for more than 40 years now I'm planning to move back I was there about a year ago I couldn't believe how my native country has changed thanks to max and Stacy for being the embassadors of this new era we love you guys and appreciate for the this amazing transformation...

Are you really from Utah? If you go to El Salvador or live there, you are going to find out that the salvadorans love american people. El Salvador is a pro USA ally. El Salvador never wanted to be part of Mexico. On 2 different occasions, El Salvador wanted to be part of USA as a state. Check the salvadoran flag from 1865-1912, you will be very surprised.
I will advise to any foreigner coming to el Salvador from any country of Europe, Canada, usa, or any part of the globe... If you have funds to invest in setting up a business could be, barber shop, restaurant, hardware store, food market or whatever your creativity can think. So you start to contribute to the ISSS ( salvadorean institute of social security) that way you use the isss hospitals, operations rooms, clinics, free at point of service, decent service and infrastructure, bukele is making it better,,, THE IDEA IS YOU CAN CREATE JOBS AND EMPLOY POOR SALVADOREANS SO YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES CAN CONTRIBUTE TO ISSS AND BE PART OF HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

El Salvador is a safer bet than Costa Rica, why? In Costa Rica, you can never renounce your Costa Rican citizenship while in El Salvador you can and can reapplied for salvadoran citizenzhip again, no property tax in El Salvador except water and garbage tax ($200 US dollar).

Is really good that people move to my country, but I wish or hope that the new people learn spanish and live the way of life of El Salvador.
I mean, not to try to change the culture, and we become a society where everything its about a materials things.
Life its better if it's about friends, family and enjoy life.
Nosotros aprendemos español poco a poco! Speaking personally, we feel that El Salvador has changed us more than we've changed El Salvador, insofar as our priorities have aligned with the culture here -- friends, family, and enjoying life. And we a supremely grateful for that.

I feel like a have the same problem with my sons trying to convince them to come and look at it. But they said, no dad we are Canadians, we don’t belong in there we are going to feel like a fish out the water. Even though they have relatives in here . 😢 I want them to come and see what it’s all about.

Are you aware of the new traffic rules to drive in El Salvador? Apparently President Bukele and Congress listened to our concerns about the traffic and road accidents
Yes, I heard about higher fines ($150) for motorbikes if they overtake into traffic jams.
Bukele is making sure everyone is safe in every possible way.. including traffic … best president ever!

Salvadorians are absolutely amazing. They really make the country. I hear a lot of people say that about countries, but en El Salvador, it's true. I've been there 5 times in the last year.
Salvadorans are known for being humble people even during the 12 year civil war. They are also not into racist ideology like USA where you see it even on the american news outlet. My parents are from El Salvador and they are both proud to have an american son like myself. That is a respectful thing to say about their own foreign born family members. As for me I am proud to be an american as well as my parents. Salvadoran culture/country is not a nationalistic one compare to Mexico which makes it easier to assimilate with them.
