Unbelievable that a house like that would be left to decay regardless of who lived there. Thanks Tim for another great video!

I don't know but the logistics are mind boggling. There are no roads up to the house, just walkways. Maybe they could use the Hollywood Bowl parking lot? dunno...

@@rockessentialswithtim710 when you mentioned in the video about no vehicle access, my first thought was -- how in the hell does one get groceries from the vehicle to the house? Based on the looks of that wooden walkway leading to that open door entrance you entered, I'm thinking the termites will have that house in the Hollywood Bowl parking lot before the first whack of the wrecking ball 😆.

@@chadmooreofficial Yeah, humping in groceries would be a problem. Parking your car would be an issue as well seeing as how there is no driveway, much less a road to the house.

Demolition and rebuilding in that location would be so labour intensive, with only pedestrian access.. the historical value of the place. It may be rough, but certainly salvageable. WTF are they thinking?

So much potential for a fixer upper and historical value. I can't believe it's being knocked down. It doesn't look dilapidated and the history behind it (being built in 1921 and In Utero being mainly written within those walls) make it worthy of another chance of life. It might be rough now but with the right people and amount of work, it could be stunning.

Given it’s accessibility for a construction crew it’s probably for the best. Construction costs would be far higher then normal because of the challenge of that location.

I use to do that in old houses in Detroit whenever I got the chance. Was once in Battle Creek and got to go through an old Kellogg house. It was a cool house, lots of nice features, but not a big house. Pool table room in the basement. All tile bathrooms. Small sunroom on the south, street side. Each room had small wall phone intercom phone with all the family members names still on the phones. Cool show Tim. 👍

Il faut bien être français pour écrire des choses en français que les américains ne connaissent pas. Aucun respect pour le lieu.

really sad they're going to demolish it. I would think it would have way more value in restoring it and paying tribute to history

not in America anymore. It is run by Corporatists...Big Business.
The arts and culture were eliminated from public education curriculum a long time ago.
Civics knowledge, music & art education are not valued enough by the right wingers to keep it. So, we have a dumbed down society making poor choices in many things.
