1:08 - You stated on a recent BumbleKast Mini that it would be weird to visit a familiar area like Chun-nan without showing the humans that live there. What about animal people settlements on nearby islands? Wouldn't that be a good way to show familiar faraway regions in a new light and not worry about showing humans? And is there a reason why the book can't show humans when the brand has been showing them off as of late such as in that Tails Tube episode and that artwork with Princess Elise?

4:50 - Being based on the blue blur both Scourge and Surge have similar tendencies to taunt their opponents and pick at their ego. So who is better at it? Who can more easily prod at their enemies self worth and make them rue the day they even dared to exist?
6:14 - So here's something I think is still unexplored. Has the Master Emerald given Knuckles some passive Chaos Neutralization? He managed to knock the Super out of Sonic and take the Emeralds. Would him fighting Shadow essentially set Shadow's Chaos Powers to 0?

My question is: How does he know the pink marshmallow? Is Smash Brothers canon? Or is it just something else that doesn't need to be dug deeper?
13:51 - I noticed some parallels between the Ancients from Frontiers and the Interlopers from TLOZ: Twilight Princess. Both are ancient civilizations who, for reasons involving powerful artifacts (Fused Shadow, Chaos Emeralds), got stuck in a new world that evolved them into deformed new forms. Most likely a coincidence, but it got me thinking. Did you have any particular inspirations when working on the lore of the Ancients?
14:41 - Continuing The Isekai Adventures of Dr. Starline, our Homicidal Cinnamon Roll finds himself in the world of FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy’s). Would he be able to survive the nights, or will he become another victim of the vengeful children's soul-possessed animatronics? Also, would he find it intriguing that they are bound to the animatronics?
16:03 - a portal has opened in the world of Deltarune Causing the Delta warriors (plus Noelle, Berdly, Lancer, and Rouxls) to end up in Sonic’s world. How would you see the cast interact with each other and how would Rouxls screw up trying to work for Eggman?

19:59 - Let’s say Kit were to use an equivalent of the dynamo cage for him, where it boosted the power of his hydrokinesis, but also gave him more mental trauma like with surge. How would it boost his powers (use more liquids than just water, control blood, like blood bending from avatar, skips the middle man of needing his pack and takes moisture directly from the air himself, potentially immediately surrounding heads with it to drown people, he has more control over freezing it, etc.)? How would the ensuing trauma manifest and make him act (does he see everything as a Starline hallucination, does he try attacking everyone and everything indiscriminately in a fit of rage, unable to actually tell who’s who, does he just cower and essentially turn into an even more volatile ticking bomb, waiting to explode in a shower of ice spears?)
23:56 - I watched Sonic OVA and when Sonic and Tails portal to the Land of Darkness, a ruined and abandoned New York City. Tails refers to the streets as ""the ancient relics"". Also just beat unleashed and during the end battle Chip, who has battled dark gaia for thousands of years says "seven lights of the earth rekindled" referring to the chaos emeralds. So my question... Mobius is the future Earth and emeralds are from there?
25:35 - Why has Eggman not given Metal a Sonic "skin" like the Shadow Andriods? Or allowed him to Shape Shift into "Sonic"? Metal has earned it.
27:10 - Let's continue with Starline's isekai adventures! If there are multiple universes with infinite possibilities, what would be Starline's reaction if he landed on an universe where everything went like he wanted and he became Dr. Eggman's co-emperor? How is that universe and how would he feel seeing his dream coming true?
29:56 - Let's say against all odds and plot mandates, Silver actually succeeds and makes a Good Future. After he says his goodbyes and heads home, is it possible he'd arrive in that future to find Shadow and Omega just hanging out somewhere? How surprised is he? How unimpressed are they?

34:00 - Time for some fun! We know that Starline used Belle's coding to overwrite Surge and Kit's personalities, and thus he mad Surge REALLY HATE Sonic, and he made Kit EXTREMELY loyal to Surge.. Well. Just for the pure fun of it, someone reversed Belle's coding before Starline got to use it, so now it ends up having the exact opposite effect on Surge and Kit's personalities then what Starline intended. What are Surge and Kit's personalities like now, and how does the battle in issue 50 go? Just for pure hilarity's sake.
36:23 - A Sonic Multiverse question. Are possibilities actual worlds in Sonic The Hedgehog? Possibilities being worlds has been implied in games like Sonic CD and Shadow The Hedgehog but I wanted to know your insights on this.

I always assumed that every robot that debuted in Sonic Heroes, including Shadow Android, were Metal Sonic's designs, not Eggman's. Eggman just ran with the idea because he already had them produced, but didn't bother making more of them.
For Five Nights at Starline’s, it’s where I want to be on the Algorithm Quest!
A shame Lego Dimensions isn't canon because really, why isn't it? Sonic interacting with well known pop cultural icons like Ghostbusters, Dr. Who, Gollum, Cyborg, and Adventure Time characters, Eggman mentioning Mean Bean Machine as if it were canon, and the fact that the voices were all there. If Subspace Emissary can be considered canon, then what the heck?
Honestly, I think Knuckles should have some form of abilities connected to the emeralds. The guy is supposed to be the guardian of the master emerald and has lived his entire life as such, so it'd make sense for him to have a few tricks that could be used in a pinch. Maybe not to the same extent of Shadow's repertoire, but an emergency "off-signal" for the emeralds to deal with someone who's missusing their power would neat. It could be balanced out by just saying he needs a minute to prepare himself for it, it can't work on extremely powerful enemies, etc.
Knuckles and Shadow have fought at least two times. Once was in Heroes in a group fight between Team Sonic and Team Dark. The other was in Rivals 2, where they had a more traditional 1v1.
I agree honestly the fear of power creep or "being too similar to Dragon Ball" has been nothing but a hindrance to the series as a whole. Sonic works best with his ensemble cast. Even outside of Sonic 3, Knuckles has been shown to use a Chaos technique known as Thunder Arrow in SA2 and canceling out their power. Its baffling that Ian doesn't want him to have any connection to mysticism when hes the one most tied to the actual concept. He guards the ME, the earth originated emerald that somehow is the master of the ones from space, how he neutralizes the emeralds power is through prayer, he communes the most with the spirit of Tikal and if Battle is taken into account Chaos, his tribe is responsible for the Hidden Palace prophecy that indirectly created Shadow, he fights ghosts the most out of all the cast and there is whole treasure hunter hobby. Is not like Ian hasn't balanced this side of Knuckles before considering his time on Archie.
I think just giving Knuckles some kind of ability to negate chaos energy or maybe just an immunity or extremely high tolerance to it would be enough. It gives him something unique to him, that directly reflects his position as the Master Emerald's guardian, but is only really useful in specific situations. And I think it would fit nicely in his fighting style, flashy ranged powers aren't really his thing. He could maybe tank chaos-based moves and charge in for physical attacks or something.
@@TheSwordsman100 I think the worry about it confuses me the most because if there’s any character who deserves that kinda Buff it’s knuckles, considering how integral he is to the lore and how other sonic rivals are literally showered in there own flashy powers, giving knuckles an ability related to the thing he guards and has dedicated himself to and would at most just put him on an equal power level with shadow is completely fine, I understand not wanting to go completely bonkers with arbitrary power ups, but this seems more like being resistant to something that would be cool and make sense for the character, just because it might change the status quo.

I concur, what makes it weirder is, while sure Ian was working off a preestablished title, he did not have this problem with Archie book. Either pre or post reboot Knuckles' spiritual connection was utilized, to the point that one Sonic youtuber thought thunder arrow originated from the Archie book when it was in SA2
Hi Ian! What do you think Omega will do once all the badniks are destroyed? I personally think he would either go back to his original task of babysitting Shadow or keep himself in denial, looking for more badniks around the world. Although he could also jump to the conclusion that he's technically a badnik and therefore has to commit a Gamma and self-destruct to complete his mission.
On his Isekai adventures, Starline finds himself as a member of the Frieza force during the Frieza Saga. What does he think of the Dragon Ball Z cast?
Random fact but the only bad thing that happens in the Deltarune dark path is that Birdly dies.

What if the Continuities of the Sonic Archie Comics (Post-SGW) and Sonic IDW Comics both Main Series (from #1 - Present Issue) and miniseries (Tangle and Whisper, Bad Guys, Imposter Syndrome, Scrapnik Island) took place in the same reality! How would the histories, characters and locations of both continuities interact with each other? (And before you ask, yes the events of Sonic Lost World and Sonic Forces do take place in that hypothetical amalgam reality, somewhere between "Archie Sonic the Hedgehog Issue #287" and IDW Sonic the Hedgehog Issue #1"!)

I assume that with Knuckles' case, he likely can neutralize Chaos Powers inherently relying on the Emeralds in order to be used, like Super States, but against someone who naturally has an inherent level of Chaos Energy like Shadow (Within reason, like Chaos Spear, Snap, and sometimes but also not, Blast) wouldn't be afflicted as it isn't drawing from the Emeralds, it's drawing from his own energy
I may completely off my mark, so let me know. According to a fan from my first Bumblekast Mini, I have literacy levels at a Kindergartner level (Which I take offense to, those 5 year olds can be so much more tenacious and smart when they sense weakness compared to me)

Sonic X is the true Canon. Nobody can convince me otherwise :)
Show makes more sense than the actual game canon.
Plus, I like how Super Sonic is first used to defeat the E99 robot, than say in Sonic 2 how he's only used flying at the end of the game.
Another point too Professor Gerald moving Eggman away on Sonic's planet so his earth revenge won't hurt Eggman.
It doesn't state on the show how Eggman ended up on Sonic's planet but I bet that would probably be the most logical reason.
Sonic All Stars Racing is the true canon, because Banjo is there. :)
Also the theme song of the game is great.
Ian there is a little mistake but nothing so huge: in Sonic Forces Eggman conquers the 99% of the planet and then also the humans, G.U.N included also if not directly quoted, is indirectly quoted in this number... is only for letting you know 😊

Also if not directly quoted, they are indirectly quoted in this 99% also because I really doubt that the G.U.N hasn't tried to stop Eggman and we see in Frontiers ( ⚠️ spoiler ⚠️)
