the weird thing is that according to Sonic Generations Sonic 06 still technically happened since you fight Silver in his destroyed lava future.
so I guess 06's canonicity is trapped in limbo.

As an Australian, I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get Dr. Starline having a poshy Aussie accent.
I'm going to be honest here. I grew up with the Archie Sonic comics, and when all the reboots and stuff happened mid-storyline with no real closure or ending, I walked away. All the characters, lore, and storyline I was invested in my entire life was just.... gone. I'm not blaming you for that, but it was how I felt and I wasn't ready to just start over.
Recently, I've been doing some research into the IDW comics. I'm far enough removed from everything now that I've been thinking about diving back in and taking a fresh start, but I wanted to make sure the comics were still good before I made the commitment to catch up.
THIS video is what finally convinced me to start reading the IDW comics. The writer going the extra mile to roleplay a character and answer fan questions, and clearly having a lot of fun with it, is just.... SO so cool. It really goes to show how much care is put into what you do.

If Starline ever makes his way into video games, Ian Flynn absolutely MUST voice him! I honestly thought that Kevin Michael Richardson's Demongo voice would've been good enough, but Flynn is awesome!

I have a question about Fang the Sniper: In his few appearances in the games, he's shown with four fingers on each hand, but in the comics, he's been drawn with five (though he did have four in some earlier issues of Archie Sonic); was this a request from SEGA, or just something that slipped by because it's such a minor detail?
I ask because I know there's a stigma about hands having four fingers in Japan due to Yakuza connections, Bob the Builder famously had to be edited over there to give him five fingers due to that, so I wondered if something similar happened in regards to Fang's comic depiction.

Mobian Biology 101: Shadow. He's the World Ultimate Life Form. I guess that makes him a lone WULF. But what that tittle even means? Shadow is amazing and Gerald was a genius, but I claiming you created pinnacle of evolution is a bit braggy.
And which of his investors even asked for that? Gun and Black Doom wanted a weapon, while Gerald wanted a cure for NIDS and person with "free will and heart, not a weapon, but if you stop Black Arms from killing us it would be nice too". Isn't that enough to worry? Was outdoing god a priority?
