8:10 - When most people talk about Sonic and Nicky in the Shogakukan manga, they usually refer to them in the sense that Sonic is nothing but the secret identity of Nicky. But, in the issue entitled "At Last, We Learn the Truth About Sonic!!", it is shown that 20 years before the events of the Manga, Sonic Helped Nicky's father, Paulie, from nearly crashing his plan. This event would lead to Paulie Meeting the woman he would later marry, Brenda. Because of this, that would have to mean that Sonic existed way before Nicky was even a thought in his parents heads. This leads me to believe that Sonic, in this universe, is actually a spirit who sometimes gains possession over Nicky and not the secret identity of Nicky. Think of it like an ancient god sometimes getting possession over a random elementary Schooler sometimes. The kid himself is not the ancient god. Would my thought process be right on this, or am I simply thinking about it wrong?
9:56 - HappyTimes recently pointed something out to me regarding Enerjak. In his first appearance, Enerjak yeeted Knuckles and Archimedes into the middle of the Sandopolis Zone. In his second appearance he left the Chaotix for dead in the Sandopolis Zone too, tied up to bake in the blistering heat. Then when Knuckles took on the mantle of Enerjak, he yeeted all the dingoes into the middle of the Sandopolis Zone. So would you say that yeeting your enemies into the Sandopolis Zone is part of the package of becoming Enerjak? Is it as the saying goes: “Phenomenal cosmic power, yeeting enemies into the desert”? Or is this more of a case of Knuckles being easily influenced by Dimitri’s previous actions as Enerjak - “Knuckles see, Knuckles do”? Does it specifically have to be the Sandopolis Zone, or will any old desert work?

I can actually see shadow kind of smiling that Sonic’s head is stuck and then he’s going to be like “fine hold still” then he gets stuck and sonic says “who’s laughing now”
If Amy had just gotten there five minutes earlier earlier, she could’ve had fun in the tube and all she would be able to see is sonic on the other end. It would’ve been a win-win for her.

3:02 the silver impression is soooo freaking funny
My headcanon was that sonic was being shot down by the giant mounted guns on ares and chaos island, since those are the only islands that have them and are the only ones where sonic gets shot down on arrival
19:56 Here’s my best attempt at providing “hard counterarguments”. There are 2 reasons why Iblis still being in Blaze makes very little sense (to me):
1. Sonic and Elise went back in time and blew out Solaris, killing him and wiping the events that took place in 06 from existence. How can Iblis still be in Blaze when he shouldn’t even exist (since Solaris is dead and never split) and Blaze meeting Iblis + her going to the future was retconned? Blaze doesn’t remember 06, so she was clearly affected by the wipe… unless you take that one bit of dialogue from Generations as gospel, but considering she also doesn’t remember her time with Silver and IDW Issue 64 shows she only recently learned about Soleanna, I think this can be placed in the same bin as “You’re the Sonic from a different dimension”. That being said, since Crisis City is still around somewhere in time, I guess you could use the same logic Ian applies to the “Time Eater/Mephiles” theory if you really wanted to (where a bit of Mephiles and therefore Iblis survived the erasure), but that’s purely fan theory and doesn’t do much against the next point.
2. Blaze struggled to keep Iblis contained in 06, so why is it so effortless for her now? She was audibly under strain trying to keep him sealed, and she straight up told Silver to freeze her in time (presumably permanently) and teleport her to a different dimension so she could act as a permanent seal. Surely Blaze would notice Iblis being inside her, right?
To summarise, if you wanted to share this accurately as a factoid like Ian said, you’d have to do it like this:
“06 shows Iblis might still be in Blaze, but only if you ignore what happens in 06.”
You pretty much summed up my thoughts, though I might as well put out there that the belief (that Shiro Maekawa, at least, seems to have) that Iblis exists after 06 may indicate that Solaris wasn't exactly wiped from canon, but the _memory_ of Solaris was. ...Which I guess means that Blaze does have Iblis inside her still, but it settled down, hence the lack of struggle? And now she's harboring that creature with absolutely no knowledge of it (unless her dialogue in Generations means that she regained those memories upon the restoration of Crisis City in White Space, but I always found it weird how her reaction to regaining those memories was so apathetic). And considering that all it takes to release Iblis is for the host to cry, Blaze better not cry in the future or all heck will break loose again.
Personally, I would prefer for that not to happen (and it probably won't) since it would require the audience to be familiar with the events of 06 to understand what's even going on--something I'm sure Sega would rather avoid touching on--plus the whole prospect of dealing with an entity that has lit the world on fire is a bit "been there, done that" at this point. Maybe there would be a unique way of pulling it off, but I don't know.
@@Pikmanipulator Fully agree with all of your thoughts, especially in regard to Iblis being acknowledged due to evoking the story of 06. I genuinely think there isn’t much to mine by dredging it up again that couldn’t be gained through a new story, and doing so could at worst confuse the fanbase’s current understanding of Silver and Blaze’s characters.
Silver’s current outlook that all life is precious is really appealing to me and pairs a lot better with his naivety and earnestness, which would be a little undermined when the time he tried to murder Sonic the Hedgehog before it was cool is highlighted. And Blaze kinda went from a ready-to-act princess to a non-entity who only talked to Silver and gave very questionable advise. She suspected the “naïve hedgehog” (and therefore Iblis Trigger) could be Silver, for example, but then encouraged him to go after Sonic again when he expressed hesitation…? This is made even worse if Rush actually comes before 06, since Silver immediately after being convinced to hunt Sonic again tells Blaze that the hedgehog in question is chasing Eggman. How she doesn’t pick up that the target is Sonic is beyond me, but the point is that both characters don’t really come off the best in the context of 06 (Silver especially if the gameplay is considered).
It might be possible that 06 takes place before Rush and Iblis is essentially morphed into the Sol Emeralds when Blaze seals it inside her. She looks like she turns into Burning Blaze during the whole thing, after all.
Ian confirmed on the September 22nd 2023 Mini (at 0:10) that Rush comes before 06.

24:41 I asked this question because of the part in Lost World where Orbot asked Sonic if he could be his sidekick. I’m surprised Sonic would get annoyed by Orbot acting like a bootlicker. With his ego, I’d think Sonic would enjoy that. And he doesn’t have a problem with Tails, who’s also sometimes portrayed as clingy and sycophantic towards Sonic.
Oh my god tho, the way you voice the characters, especially shadow, you guys should be voice actors ❤
Question: English Sonic meets his other language versions. How does he react to hearing himself talk in over 30 different languages? Is he surprised to find out Finnish Sonic makes great music and has an equally as great singing voice? Is he entertained by Swedish Sonic's UA-cam videos? Does he ask Italian Sonic for advice to get closer to a certain red plumber? And is he caught off-guard by German Sonic's recently gained tendency to voice crack every sentence? (Seriously, what happened?)

@@ElsanneJ I was referring to Joonathan Kettunen, Sonic's voice in Boom and Prime. But Markus Niemi is also a musician so you could take it either way, the joke just works better with Joonathan, as Sonic says in Boom that he has a great signing voice.

ngl I have a head canon that at some point in the future knuckles realises that when rouge steals Jewels she doesn't sell them she kinda just keeps them around. and so he realises that if he let her just chill by the master emerald all day she would probably make a good guardian.

I need to understand some aspects of the thumbnail art, Eggman's and Sage's outfits themselves I know what they're from (eggman's hero protag concept design and his pajama's from some of the early promo animations respectively), but I'm not entirely sure what their slippers and Sage's plush doll are based on.

My thought would be, if I had to give it a reason outside of the obvious Egyptian parallels, would be that the Sandopolis Zone is likely where a lot of the thought behind the creation of Enerjak came from.

My personal theory is her connection to Iblis, the Sol Emeralds, and the Sol Dimension in general is the result of the post-'06 events where Solaris likely could have re-fragmented (creating more/different entities other than JUST Mephiles and Iblis, like the Time Eater getting created for example) after the candle is blown out. Basically, it's a case of Blaze trying to seal Iblis away in a pocket dimension, gets joined with Solaris in his reformation (forming as the core of the big glowing sun that is the boss's weak spot), but then after the defeat and candle blow out, she and her memories of her '06 adventure get rubber-banded back into the separate dimension, but it makes what was a pocket dimension into a sort of out-of-sync copy/reflection of Sonic's world, sort of like the "Ultimate Marvel" counterpart to Sonic's "Earth-616 (main canon)" world. Granted I also have like a WHOLE other thing where I go into detail of "she might have been a lot more important to '06's story originally outside of the one thing she does for the finale."
The Slippers are Egg Pawn inspired, but they aren't from anything in particular. I just thought it would be cute for them to have matching slippers.

Have you seen any Trigger anime? I would recommend watching Inferno Cop or Space Patrol Luluco as those are really fun. Especially Inferno Cop like thats just observed and trust me, you won't regret watchin it. Kill La Kill is also great but everyone already talks about that one, so I thought I would talk about my two favorites I don't hear people talk about.
How would The Chaotix react about Mighty returning at the front door. Would Eggman even remember Mighty or just call him Red Sonic. It would be funny if he remembered Ray but didn't remember Mightys name.
Also do you think Eggman would call Bean Jet and Jet Bean?

Since dark shadow from shadow the hedgehog and dark sonic from sonic x both have a similar up bringings to use the form
(In sonic x, sonic is purely fueled by anger just like shadow in the game with vengance, which could possibly mean anyone could use these forms if they're heroic enough or angry enough??)
Do you think that can make the shadow dark/hero forms and the dark sonic form one in the same, and still canon because of shadow the hedgehogs inclusion of it?
Or are those dark/hero forms separate things entirely from dark sonics universe form and the dark/hero form is just a shadow exclusive/game play thing?
(I should also say the wiki tells me that you can use the form in shadow with and without the super form, so dark sonic only being a alternate super transformation doesn't seem like a good excuse)

#BumbleKingVideos What is the status of G.U.N. and the United Federation by Sonic Frontiers? Given that Twitter Takeover and Tailstube both seem to say that G.U.N. was wiped out by the Eggman Empire and logically the Federation was part of the 99% of the world taken over during the war, are they both gone for good?
Also, why are is the comic series set to end chronologically before Sonic Frontiers? I like having a timeline of events, but I am curious as to this decision.
I think Blaze having Iblis sealed within her is a really awesome concept. We don't really need an explanation as to why Blaze has fire powers, but to think that they are derived from a demonic demigod living within her very soul makes it a bit more interesting. Yes, I know in 06 she had flame powers before absorbing Iblis, but still. It would also be interesting to see how Mephiles would factor in if Iblis was sealed in Blaze as opposed to Elise...and if Mephiles was still alive.
