  • I went to flea market couple of weeks ago and found this vintage 1950 Devilbiss Air compressor that I thought would be cool to restore. This is a small air compressor that was used possibly for inflating tires. I was able to bring it back and now it looks great and works. This was made in 50's in Toledo Ohio, USA. I hope you enjoy this video.

Nice refurbishing project. You made it work and look good. Could even get a large tank to use with it to give more air volume... Thumbs Up!

My father had an old Devilbiss. It was much newer, but it sounded almost the same.

Looks great. At what point did you realise you had both the motor and compressor unit back to front on the base? We see that sneaky little jump cut where they turned around XD. Seriously though great job, it does look amazing.

13:36 - 🫢, I assume you corrected that mistake of the “crank-case breather” holes being blocked by the gasket as the compressor is seen working at the end and not erupting oil out of the fill bowl and the piston “seizing” solid

Why did you decided that the electric ebgibe doesn't need and overhaul? Cleaning the oxidation on the contacts and lubricating it would make it work probably better

Is the reason you chose those colors is because you're a Bengals fan?? LOL

Could have at least put a new pipe nipple on it.
