Saw their riot fest set. Code Orange, along with a few other bands, are far ahead of the game in metal with the sound quality/processing.
Sound at shows has gotten so much better the past few years. I dunno what happened but thank fuck for it - almost every show I went to before was barely listenable. RATM is the best I've seen so far and it's not close - they sounded like a new band despite playing 30 year old songs

21:00 I went down after stage diving and got kicked hard. dragged offstage before the set was over. I was rough but the band and sunny made sure I was cool after the show. Best show ever! Great to be able to see the rest of what I missed! This channel is the greatest!

Me too! 42 years young here, been to close to 100 or so shows over the years. This pit was the most brutal I think I've ever seen. Slipknot IOWA era was bonkers too.. At one point during Codes set I seen 4-5 cats leaving the pit abruptly 🤕😆😯🤘🏻🔥🖤💛

Big fan after seeing them live. Kind of sounds like metalcore, deathcore, plus nu-metal revival in a good way. The band is also really tight and band puts their all into their live performance. See them if you're curious. You won't be disappointed.

I wasn't a fan of the Nu Metal sound on their new record at first but after seeing this live video, I feel the same insane energy running thru those new songs as the old one which is such a testament to these guys live performances. I'm now convinced they could cover the wiggles and I'd still wanna spin kick a dude in the face. CODE ORANGE FOREVER
I love the new record but I really really didn’t like Out For Blood, ironically I had a blast seeing them play it live & even joined in on the circle pit, they just have that infectious energy

Fighting is deliberate, and with malicious intent. Getting hit by a rogue fist, or spin kick in the pit is part of the culture, and almost akin to a high five in this setting. As I've aged in the scene I've found that legitimate, deliberate violence at shows has become a rarity. Maybe it's dumb, maybe it's not for you, but this is culture for a lot of people.
