The Heaviest Podcast of All Time
Full Of Hell would be interesting guests. That band is the epitome of a workhorse and really carved out their own sound.
They are so dynamic live. It’s unlike a lot of heavy bands I’ve ever seen
Hell Yeah ! A Garza Podcast day is ALWAYS a good day 😎🤘🏻🔥
love Jami, dude's a character and seems genuine.
Listened to these guys back when they were still doing the side project "Adventures" got nothin but love for em.
The new album gets surprisingly Adventures-y at certain points lol kinda full circle if you think about it
This was a solid podcast
The Back Inside the Glass stream is so fucking phenomenal. It’s insane that nobody has seen it. And honestly makes me sad lmao. It’s THAT incredible.
love CODE ORANGE. they got like this hardcore version of NIN thing going on visually and perhaps a bit sonically in some songs...been a fan since Jami was on the drums and they were 'kids'!
Jami and Shade trying to pull a Trent Reznor and blow up off movie scores so they can become an award winning duo, then the hype from that will allow Code Orange to blossom into the arena act it is destined to become!
CODE ORANGE IS FOREVER
Awesome episode, love Code Orange! The Above is one of of best albums of 2023 imo
Garza is legit the Joe rogan of metal, always giving top tier content 👌🏼
Get Chelsea Grin on!
Never listened to Code Orange but these guys turned out to be very interesting. Thank you for the interview
Their new album is great, I’d recommend that one over their older work but it’s all solid
You hit the jackpot with this one, Chris!
I'm 35 years old and Story Of The Year is my favorite band. Period.
They made some musical choices that prevented them from breaking it BIG big. They went against the major labels suggestions and went heavier with the second record instead of pop like Panic! at the Disco. Got dropped and have been on independent labels since 2005 or 2006.
Glad to see someone else like them
RIP Kayle
Love this band
This is one of my favorite podcasts and I hope Garza keeps it going. I didn’t know about code orange til they were on the Bein Ian podcast and now this one
Garza for president! Love it bro
Great ep!
I respect the fuck out of Code Orange.
Making every Monday a little better, Chris!
The 20 things in my head and do nothing was crazy. Just makes me think imagine the impact of being truly focus thru out your whole life. (And makes me think of ppl born with “better focus”
I want Jamie and the rest of Code to know: my whole crew and I bought the ticket to “Back Inside the Glass” on Halloween and watched it live - it was amazing
Garza is the 🐐. Just absolute 👑 shit
Dope video as always. Would be great to see Traitors, Spite, or Chelsea Grin on here soon
Hard agree on all three
Jami always seemed like he had a bit of an attitude, glad he's getting better. Forever is still one of my favorites ever.
I agree. For a while he came off really arrogant but nowadays seeing him on pods like this and the Danny Brown Show, seems like he mellowed out.
Lmao. That garage show at 30:18 is my friends garage in NC! I was at that show. Its so wild seeing how far they progressed since.
Idk why but when Jami said "Yea, you can't chuck stuff." cracked me up lol
I have found a recurrent theme in most interviews and it's volatile the music business and band success can be. I would like to hear from Chris how they survived their self-titled records, what they are thinking about that, and how they overcame the people's reception. I had the chance to watch Suicide Silence live in 2015, totally in love with the band, and no other than respect.
Died when jamie recognized prurient....holy fuck. I knew code orange knew whats up but didnt know they were that far down the rabbit hole.
I don’t see any bands doing stuff like this. That live stream was one of the best things that’s been done in decades. People are haters
We need HEALTH on Garza Podcast!
new album is fucking great.
I thought Shade was Peso Pluma for half a second
Get Kublai Khan tx next on the podcast!
Based🤙
Future bands to bring in: ORBIT CULTURE & BLEED FROM WITHIN 🔥🔥🤘🤘
Really undercut Will Putney as a producer and musician at the end there. Will has produced all of Thy Art is Murder’s albums, Northlane’s ‘Node’ album, which, was sonically fantastic. He writes and records all of the music for Fit For An Autopsy. He plays in the amazing band END. And most importantly, his mentor was Machine, who recorded ‘No Time To Bleed’. I’m really surprised that Garza doesn’t recognize the name.
Garza thought he was talking about Putney, we’re you even listening hahah
He wasn’t talking about Will Putney, he was talking about Will Yip.
Not to mention, he's also in the band Better Lovers (the Every Time I Die guys with Greg Puciato [ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan]).
You gotta do Tallah, Primitive Man, Full of Hell, Disembodied Tyrant
You gotta get face yourself on!!!
I'm here because I love "Underneath" through and through!!
Got me through the majority of the 2020 sickness
And also to push my music - All Us In One
C'mon in and give it a listen
Bring Waking The Cadaver also broo
Yes, bring Don and Mike on.
SPITE on here please.
Knocked loose pls
Summer Lands? What he say his friend plays in what band??
What new bands are coming out that he doesn’t like?? Like the new versions of “attila x emmure” (I like those bands)
Sumerlands
TOTH
Thinners of the herd
Where. Is. Reeba.
Jami’s the only one who actually likes doing interviews/podcasts lol
I call that the "little debbie diet" hahaha
BROTHER ME SOFTLY
Ese no es peso pluma??? Jajaja
Who gave him the kids chair? 😂
Yo yo watup watup, Fake de la Rocha izinda Houz! PS: Hey, where's Reba "Not a single foul word" Meyers?!
What in the hell are you talking about
No reeb no code
No disrespect to Code Orange, they are a killer band, but I was so bummed this wasn't a Spite interview 😢 After Crystal Lake, I thought Spite would be next since they were on the same tour. I'm still holding out hope!
I just want to see that cutie Reba on the show! She is my favorite member. I think this band is really talented, and I do like the songs that feature Reba on vocals, but overall I'm not really a huge fan of them.
still bummed after all these years they dropped 'Kids' from their band name
I miss the old Code Orange
They’ve never been better imo, thank god they don’t want to repeat themselves & choose to actually express their creativity
They still sound like Code, just with versatility, more bands need to be like them & take risks & evolve. Like they said in the interview, even back then, they had an indie rock side project during the early Code years, all they’ve done is expanded the boundaries of what people think their band should be & do what they really want
Shade looks like the emaciated gay kid from Stranger Things.
Coming from overweight Shane Dawson 😂
"I got that from wrestling!" .. yeah dude we know, we hear it in the lingo you're using.. "get the idea over", "buried by the group" ect ect. we get it, you're a mark.
"we're at catering".. the many uses of "brother", instead of "blood" he says "color".. this guy got a taste of the biz with Bray Wyatt and performing on NXT and thinks he's "one of the boys" now.
@@johnthompson6689relax princess, Jami’s been a fan of wrestling since he was a kid, for most others who think it’s lame & don’t know the lingo, he has social awareness to actually explain himself 😂
Why u mad 😂
lolll are you one of the boys? will you ever come close to having any sort of relation or connection to any of them? you're gatekeeping all the way out from the fuckin parking lot WRESTLING NERD
@@johnthompson6689 jealousy sucks
Their new album was incredibly dogshit
Can you give me 5 albums from this year that were better that also have as much variety & creativity?
i started laugh crying when they brought billy corgan out
The Above was quite good. Metal fans are the worst. Most insecure batch of people ever
