  • The Big 12 can strategically strengthen its position by poaching ACC schools, capitalizing on financial incentives, competitive opportunities, and potential instability within the ACC. By targeting key ACC schools, the Big 12 can enhance its conference profile, expand its geographic footprint, and increase its marketability, ultimately solidifying its status as a premier college athletics conference.
    Financial Incentives
The Big 12 can leverage its lucrative media rights deals and potential revenue-sharing models to attract ACC schools. Offering financial stability and growth opportunities can be a significant draw for ACC programs facing economic uncertainties or seeking to boost their athletic budgets. By presenting a compelling financial package, the Big 12 can position itself as a more attractive option for schools looking to enhance their financial standing and overall competitiveness.
    Competitive Opportunities
The Big 12 offers a robust competitive environment that can appeal to ACC schools seeking higher levels of competition and greater national exposure. The conference's dynamic football landscape, characterized by high-stakes games and strong rivalries, can provide ACC teams with a platform to elevate their profiles. Additionally, the Big 12's commitment to basketball excellence aligns well with ACC programs known for their strong basketball traditions, ensuring competitive opportunities across multiple sports.
    Geographic Expansion
Poaching ACC schools can significantly expand the Big 12's geographic footprint, creating new regional rivalries and tapping into diverse recruiting territories. By adding schools from the Southeastern United States and the Atlantic Coast, the Big 12 can enhance its national presence and appeal to a broader audience. This geographic diversification can also attract new media deals and sponsorship opportunities, further strengthening the conference's financial stability.
    Potential ACC Instability
Potential instability within the ACC, whether due to internal governance issues or dissatisfaction with current conference arrangements, can be an opportunity for the Big 12. By positioning itself as a stable and forward-thinking alternative, the Big 12 can capitalize on any discontent within the ACC. Strategic communication and engagement with key ACC programs can facilitate a smooth transition and integration into the Big 12.
    Conclusion
In conclusion, the Big 12 can strengthen its position by poaching ACC schools through financial incentives, competitive opportunities, and geographic expansion. By leveraging potential instability within the ACC and presenting a compelling case for joining the Big 12, the conference can enhance its profile and ensure its status as a leading force in college athletics.

Saw this in another video chat and I love it. If Allstate buys the naming rights to the Big 12 they should call it the “Mayhem Conference” by Allstate.

    Realignment video again?
“These teams will join expansion Big 12!” and “Big 12 expanding soon!” every other video gets pretty old don’t you think?
Sorry the Big Allstate 12 wasn’t good enough to make the college world series, but there’s got to be something interesting about the Big 12 that isn’t just the ACC collapsing, right?

This is all he has to talk about because the Bread Crumb Conference stinks.. No teams in the College World Series, they collasped in hoops, and they will underperform in football.Too bad the A.C.C. might get broken up. But when the good A.C.C. teams go to the Super 2, the Bread Crumb Conference will be a glorified Group of 5.

Louisville, Virginia Tech, NC State, and Miami, or Pitt to the Big 12

I suspect that VT and Miami may end up in the SEC.... along with NC and either Clemson, Oklahoma St, or Kansas. This would finish the SEC out at 20 which is where I think the conferences will stop at.

After what feasible chain of events ends with VATECH, NCSTATE and/or MIAMI in the BIG12?

Time will tell. It’s obviously not out of the realm of possibility. Whether you want to admit it to yourself or not.

Too bad we can't drop all the G5's and add all the best ACC remaining brands.
