Hello, I hope you are having a good day. I have talked to you about your swordsmanship style before but have not heard from you yet. I am extremely impressed with your style and you have great footwork. In an attempt to follow in your footsteps, I have tried to learn Polish Saber but have not found one in Korea. Not to mention that there were only a few I could find who had great and clean footwork. (And amongst them, you were the best.) I am leaving this comment because I have a great deal of respect for your style of swordsmanship and could not give up on the opportunity to learn from you. As I have said before, you could just ignore my comment. But I sincerly do want to hear back from you.
I try not to ignore comments, if I do it is because I just don't see them. My style is my own, but my influences are in equal parts, Radaelli and generic classical fencing (very close to olympic), olympic fencing itself, and some polish sabre I plan on making some instructional videos soon. But the way I approach training is with fluidity and many solo drills. Combining different actions, that may or may not go well together, surprising myself, and trying to remain grounded through all of that. Like with an instrument, you will first learn 5 notes, but next you need to practice transitions between every one of those notes, so you can call on them when they are needed. So that you can start in any position and then end in any other position. Both with footwork and blade actions. Dance with it. Have fun. Be wierd. Be consistent. I did this type of solo drilling for a very long time. I hope this helps, good luck to you
Oh my goodness! I almost gave up on getting your reply. I am so happy to have received this reply. Your videos make me grow in many ways every day, and your style is so indescribably cool. I will keep an eye out for your future uploads. Congratulations on reaching 100k subscribers. Have a great day! Thank you so much for your reply!!
I fenced for 3 years when i was younger but haven't for over a decade. Now I think I realize I wasn't as much interested in Olympic style fencing as I am HEMA. Thank you for reigniting my interest, I may even get back into the sport.
Is it me or is the guy on the left already lost due to his lack of offense? It seems he's going into battle in the defense on onset, is that a correct strategy with someone? Im new to watching HEMA, and I have watched Kendo ... it seems the best approach is to always be on the offensive in body and mind .. or is that simply a quicker way of losing? thoughts?
i am a sword lover from the days when i was a kid is there a way to learn this skills with your self(i know it's not effective but better than nothing) because we don't have these type of gyms in my country and also for self defense cuz man here knifes are like guns in america, theifs come take money but not with guns, knifes(big ones) i think you understand the idea
This is not high level this is just a basic saber fight there not even going fast with their combo's do not stop with ur swings and combo's must be like a endless river
Wow you must know so much I'm so impressed with you good job such an expert in sabre dueling Edit: If it's not obvious that's sarcasm. If you can't recognize the skill here then you might want to read up on the dunning Kruger effect.
@@FalseEdgeHEMA do you want to have a real sword Dule I Warren you I'm not going to pull my hits I'm going to go full force do you still want to try and test your luck when two people do a sword Dule or sword fight it's to the Death because y they are your enemy not ur friend you kill ur enemies do you understand
I have to slow down by half to study all steps carefully. What a splendid display of offense and defense!!

What Radaellian sources influence your fencing the most?
I have a hard seeing the differences sometimes.

Why anyone is willing to stand in distance and trde parry-ripostes with you is beyond me.
If anyone could do it, Daniel Rauens could. Hes a big inspiration for me
Absolutely an amazing watch. Cant wait to see more!
That was 🔥🔥🔥!!!!
Your opponent had some reach to him too…
Magnifique.
J'aime beaucoup ces disciplines qui perdurent.

Very quickly. I admire your technique. What is the weight of your sabers?
Man, I aspire to be this good! Amazing from both fighters!

@@FalseEdgeHEMA bahahaha what an answer
"High level" - I see what u did there 😏
I don't 😢
is that a light dueling sabre ?
1pro vs 2 rookie please
It’s too hard to see where the swords are at, where they’re impacting or even if they are at all in some cases, I watched at .25x speed.
Yeah, duelling sabres are hard to see on video. They are very thin and VERY fast
dafug pants?!
