I wish my grandfather was alive so he would know that the correct way to build boats is not gone, and forgotten. That new tools and materials are making even better boats, He would really like that!
I'm glad to see another person working in a shop with their hands and wear a Rolex. I make knives every day wearing mine. Precision tools are precision tools.
Not that strange...although I did not notice the watch...this build was for "the experince/the pride"...financial considerations were not of concern...one can buy anything...but could you design it?...could your build it?...could you repair it?...could you even pilot it?

Чюдесно. Есть коллеги у которых инструментом топор. Работа им очень проста, но сложнее абсолютно не нужно. Что- то с людьми, как - то помельчали. Есть очень длинные гвозди, которые загибаются с другой стороны, это пожизненный стык. Мне доводилось разбирать эти стыки, работа на которую не много желающих. Кстати, электричество появилось совсем недавно, были люди в наше время, да?

@@serdarbas8016 Over here in Germany, boats of this size have loose floor grills. We can lift them out in one piece...or in several pieces.... To get under it for cleaning because, the wet dirt starts ti smell very quickly. ;)

Tabiki paslanir. Paslanmaz celik vidalar bile eğer oksijen ile temas etmez ise zamanla paslanırlar. Oksijen teması kesilen yani epoxy ile kaplanacak her vidayı daha sonra yerinden cikariyorum.

There are several large holes on the bottom of the frames. Still large objects like leaves are a problem.
