This is an old documentary. He is currently facing 11 charges, including securities fraud, wire fraud and concealing money laundering. Guo pled not guilty to all 11 charges and is currently in jail awaiting trial, which is scheduled for April 8, 2024. His request for bail was denied, but Guo has since appealed this decision.

In my country, the thousan'iers become millionaires, then they become billionaires. In my country, billions disappear somewhere in London, Switzerland, Singapore and HSBC instead of being paid as tax in my country. In my country, the billionaires own the media, internet, wifi signal, water, electric supply, and prime real estate with the cooperation of lawmakers. They also collect money so that we can use roads.
It is surprising French subtitles are not available considering ARTE is a Franco-German entity.

This is a wild video (so far [I just started watching it]). I really hate real estate speculators, and other predatory capitalists (which means all capitialists), whilst having no sympathy for corrupt governments of any kind. Of course that includes imperial US and China.
