    It always amazes, and scares the hell out of me, when I see lifters like this holding the bar above but behind their head.
    I know next to nothing about weightlifting, but by simple human anatomy would seem that if something went wrong with it up there it would end up coming down with their arms behind it and their head/neck in front of it. Nothing about that situation seems safe...

      Nah really it’s just the angle of the video. My arms and head are actual in line with each other. Keeping the loaded barbell over my line of center mass keeping the load safely distributed over my body. Also in a worst case scenario I have years of experience and bailing with a barbell you throw the barbell forward and jump your body backwards. Trust me I always try to be as safe as possible. The injury I’m recovering from was a high ankle sprain due to skateboarding 💪🏽🙏🏽
