It always amazes, and scares the hell out of me, when I see lifters like this holding the bar above but behind their head. I know next to nothing about weightlifting, but by simple human anatomy would seem that if something went wrong with it up there it would end up coming down with their arms behind it and their head/neck in front of it. Nothing about that situation seems safe...
Nah really it’s just the angle of the video. My arms and head are actual in line with each other. Keeping the loaded barbell over my line of center mass keeping the load safely distributed over my body. Also in a worst case scenario I have years of experience and bailing with a barbell you throw the barbell forward and jump your body backwards. Trust me I always try to be as safe as possible. The injury I’m recovering from was a high ankle sprain due to skateboarding 💪🏽🙏🏽

Lakai Fade were really good, I skated a pair and would skate them again if they put them on the market again. Really loved the super poofy tongue on those, and the outsole is my favourite amongst Lakais . These Mod's... Idk man, look weird

I can only do them switch the sw fs flip way, they look dope as fuck for regular hard flips, glad more people out there still doin these!
I learned hardflips over hips with almost that exact foot position... took a minute to transfer them to flat but my hardflips are essentially God level now-a-days... can put so much force into my back foot on the pop that the board looks magnetized to my feet. Thanks for the video!

it's a frontside flip that goes between the legs instead of around like a normal 180. Pressure point makes it flip.

Those are awesome! I didn't know that the illusion flip = Muska flip, the vid is a nice sk8boarding 'history' nugget too. It's just this summer that I might'of annoyed some people telling them that their fs flips look more like illusion flips to me (because they were).
