K2 s/n 1740 - Control Board Mods or hacks? Part 4

Lucky to have a second revision A front panel so we can swap it first to be sure our sidetone issue is really on the control board.
Also, we need to know how many of the trace cuts and added wires and parts are supposed to be there.

Have you tried looking at the documentstion for the Rev A to Rev B upgrade kit? Maybe there is a revised schematic there?

The good news is that Elecraft came through again. I have the original hard copy schematic labeled rev. B 2002. Then found the latest manual on the website. It shows the updated circuit where the sidetone come from “outB” on the MAX534 chip and is gated by the UPO pin

I had one from a ham guy off Ebay I was sent wrong radio also had issues I was like do I keep sort when I can or sent back. I did nothing to it just looked at board took a zoom in tested agin no TX RX was a bit deaf. Thinking now I should of just asked for part refund and kept it. Well I may buy a other one.
