Great video! I've just build a new pc with a ryzen 5 3600 and it works great but under load the temperature goes up to nearly 95c with the stock cooler. I'm considering something like the h60 or the hyper 212 for cooling but if you have one that you think is better I would appreciate your advice. Thanks!
I went water cooling due to having a small itx case. I prefer more traditional coolers due to hassle free performance. I've used noctua for years and swear by them but I'd go with whatever fits your needs. Anything reasonable will outperform the stock cooler.
I just upgraded to an asus z390-e motherboard and asus rog strix 2080 super. I have a 120mm cooler. should I get extra fans or should I get a 240mm cooler?? thanks
I have a Gigabyte Z370 D3H motherboard I searched which boards that this cooler is compatable with and it came up with a Gigabyte Z370 DH3 Does that make any difference or can i still purchase this AIO without any issues?
@@ricco123tube yeah , some air coolers like noctua 16's and 15's beat 240mm aio , and its also cheaper Only 360's are worth the premium if youre looking for performance BUT aio is more aesthetic looking
@@ricco123tube oh well , then aio isnt for you , i like aio for its compactness , but performance ? , Only 280mm and 360 are worth the aio premium , but its not a waste though , sometimes air coolers are massive and block air channels in your pc
In your case radiator releases warm air inside ... if you mount it in front ...you can see the system temp, VRM temp, and PCH temp...xd

I don't want a big air cooler because I will be transporting it. I could even consider the h100x if I would gain anything that would matter from that.

@@ricco123tube Ok, thanks!
Would this cool a Ryzen 5 3600?
(With overclocking?)
Yes

If you are running a hot intel chip I'd get a 240.
Would a ryzen 9 3900x be good enough to cool it?

will it keep s i7 9700k cool? thanks in advance
Any idea like an H60 with high rpm fans might cool a 3900X in an ITX case like the NCASE M1?
Thanks in advance.
I'm currently doing a video with the 3900x vs the Corsair h60 in the nzxt 210 itx case. Should be ready in a couple weeks or so.
Ricco123tube Awesome Ill stay tuned
I am considering pairing a ryzen 9 3900x with a h60 too, I will be sure to subscribe to see how this pans out.
Would this be enough for the ryzen 7 3700x?
I’ve used the 120mm AIO with a Ryzen 7 3800x and it was fine. Good airflow is essential.
I have a m22 kraken on my ryzen 5 3600x and it stays well below 65°c under synthetic load
@@Battlefox64_RL whats your idle temps
Would this be good for i9 10900k
Doubt it. That thing is hotter than the earths core.
Just out of curiosity, what were the idle temps?
bout 33-45
would this be able to cool a i7 10700k?
Hmmm that thing runs hot at the upper end. I don't think I'd be happy with that combination if you want max performance.
@@ricco123tube what about at base speed
Base should be fine, but that cpu is nothing without it’s all core boost which is why it needs adequate cooling to achieve it.
@@ricco123tube ok thank you

What?????

Ah yes i get ya.
AIO are definitely more pleasing to the eye but personally reliability and performance is my main objective.
Good day to you!

Well i suppose a 280 or 360 would be great for something like the 10990k at 300 watts
😁
would it be good for a ryzen 7 3700x - 3060 ti build?
If 120mm is your only option, it will be fine. 240mm will allow for potentially better oc or boost.
