Andrew, we ordered a 23 Dutch Star 3736, the coach is beautiful and we love it. I went to upgrade the water filter with the BLU 3 filter setup. I had to remove the nice grey plastic cover which showed horrible water connections with the wrong fittings, poly hose with pex crimp fittings. I sent a picture to the dealer we purchased from and they said it will leak in a few years so I asked Newmar service gal and she said we warranty for 12 months and that's it. I was pretty irritated by the response. A year later we are looking at a new King Air when I noticed the same wrong fittings are being used even on the higher end Newmar's. My next coach might be a Foretravel Realm as we plan on moving to a 45' coach. Love the channel .
Tiffin can't plumb correctly either. And when your paying these big bucks, n they can't be bothered to even get that right, sure makes u wonder what else they couldn't be bothered with. And every manufacturer that does it wrong, warranties to only redo it exactly the way it was when u bought it, so warranty won't fix it properly either! Another manufacturer on the lazy. Step it up Newmar. 🍻
Questions for Newmar: How can you justify the price hike of 6 hundred-thousand on the King Air and other price increases? I just don't see the value in it, and the resell value shows it.
They did a complete redesign. I'm not sure what was "improved", but it more than doubled the amount of time it takes my department to complete one. Always have issues with slide out systems now.

Why are Newmar slide outs made with a rubber membrane roof like an entry level trailer and have the most molding and trim of any manufacturer and seams for the luxury price that Newmar demands?

They completely ignore anything the line workers say/suggest and treat their employees like crap and keep dropping pay. They've already had alot of ppl quit recently. Been there 7+ years and I'm gone as soon as I find something else.
What is up with the wiring on Newmar Coaches? They are notorious for poor quality wiring. No wiring loom, nothing is dressed in properly. Compare to Prevost Conversions and Newell; with literally perfect wiring. Foretravel, which has a similar price point to Newmar, has noticeably better wiring.
Ask him if he actually builds their luxury motorhomes for families vs adding bunks to a retiree floorplan? For e.g., every bunk model they have has the main TV on the patio side - so when traveling at night, children watching TV, the glare hits the driver off the windshield. Or how about inset TVs in the bunks with an accessible HDMI port for games?

Hi Andrew, Thank you for all the information about RV's. Our RV journey stared with a 2018 Volvo - Renegade which we loved however after 4 years it needed a roof reseal and the A/C units were rusting away in Florida's humidity. As we looked for our next RV, we wanted more room that Class A's offer. We went to the Provost Stuff Show in WPB, Florida and fell in love with a Featherlite unit named Mykonos however $2M plus was our of our price range at that time. I saw one of your 2022 Newmar King Air videos you did with Lance Ortega at Transwest, St Louis. We called Lance and bought this unit which we named "Louie". Well, Louie didn't like us as much leaving us on the side of the road broke-down 4 times. Our last trip with Louie the Lemon was coming east from Zion National Park where we limped into St. Louis back to see Lance about a trade in for another King Air which is named after our Guardian Angel, Gabriel. We have had a better experience with Gabriel however these are very complicated homes on wheels that always have some kind of issue that pops up. Since we don't live close to a Newmar service center i have become very handy at repairing many of the system with the help of Transwest's tech-guy Brain Claerhout. Now that I have had these experiences and added expenses with trading in the 2022 for 2023 King Air I think i would have bought a 2 to 3 year old Liberty, Featherlite of Newell unit with always thinking the grass is greener with another brand ! Keep up the great work of informing the newbies to RV buying 🙂
Does Newmar rate their dealers in terms of customer satisfaction? How about suppliers like Dometic, Oasis, etc? My dealer was terrible and no one ever asked if I was happy or not. I finally got rid of my Ventana 4037 bought new.

Here is a suggestion for Newmar President. I would like them to offer a 40 foot coach that has a full mid bath and eliminate the 1/2 bath. By doing so the living space will be so much better. To many RV manufacturers think have a large rear bath is the way to go but let’s face it you only sprang about 30 minutes in total in that space of the RV. Would like to see the living and entertaining space larger.

I can't speak for the lower models, but Dutch Star and above has removable induction cooktops, optional dishwasher, and w/d availability. My question would be if somehow power going to the dryer could be increased to residential levels so the dryer would dry items quickly and efficiently?
question to Newmar: I have a 2022 KingAire. On a coach that has MSRP of $1.6M why do you not have a better slide system after so many years of manufacturing? Each time I bring in the superslide (driver side) after it has rained water comes pouring in the coach as the slide moves in. Really disappointing and concerning regarding the quality of these so called premium coaches.

Casey's sole job is keeping Winnebago execs/board of directors happy. It's all about the money to them. Alot of good employees have quit or stopped caring due to the way Newmars run now and pay cuts. Tubman makes more per week then most workers have made so far this year.
QUESTION... What happened to Newmar quality? Ever since Winnebago purchased Newmar the quality has dropped to the level of a, well Winnebago! I own a 2012 Newmar Mountain AIre, looked at purchasing a new one and from chat rooms, Facebook groups etc EVERYONE is reporting nothing but issues along with a very very high price tag! I'm keeping my 2012 Mountain Aire and will just do some updating! LOVE my coach that has ZERO ISSUES! Oh and it's payed for!

Andrew,ask the Newmar president why they went to the freightliner chasis as standard on everything but the King Aire. Sounds like a cheap out to me.
From what I'm hearing, Freighliner is allowing Newmar to meet Califonia Emissions requirements.

Why such a short warranty, why not a warranty’s similar to the auto industry?
Why no Engine Brake on the New Aire? It is only available with the much inferior VTG Turbo Exhaust Brake.

Newmar has a few models with those features. The Dutch Star, New Aire, and Mountain Aire all have shorter floorplans ranging from 35 - 38 feet.
