    I firmly believe that on Super Bowl 50, the Broncos made a deal with the devil. They'd be allowed to win that game and let Peyton Manning go out on top, but in return they have to suck for 50 years.

    The SB interception derailed Wilson's career, cost Seahawks a dynasty, a football team needs to be united to go well and unless Wilson changes his ways at the next location it'll just be more of the same, making your team mates go through your management to contact you as the starting QB shows why he is on the oust.

      Stop believing everything that you hear. Most of Wilson's teammates had his direct number. Russ don't give out his number to people who he don't mess with. Lynch was good friends with players on the defense who didn't like Russ. You have no ideal about that situation. Lockett, Dissly, DK, Cliff Avril, Mike Bennett and several others who he associated with outside of football all have his number. He's not giving out his number to people who he didn't trust. There's nothing wrong with that.

    • @helendavis6141
      @helendavis6141 9 місяців тому +9

      Btw, that SB interception happened because the defense blew a 10 point lead with 6 minutes in the game. They gave up 2 td's in like 4 minutes to Brady. The defense put the offense in that situation. People don't want to talk about that part. If the defense could have held Brady to a fg on that last td drive, a fg would have won the game. That didn't ruin Russ career. It was only his 3rd year in the league. He went on to win a lot of games. The Seahawks were in the playoffs 8 out of 10 seasons that Russ was their. They only had 1 losing season. That was in 2021 when he was injured.

    Wilson is as good as the team: bad team=bad QB (2022), mediocre team=mediocre QB (2023), great team=great QB (2014-15). Denver has been fortunate to have 2 truly great QBs who could elevate the team and win games. But, Elway needed TD and Manning needed an elite defense to win a SB. So, it's still a team sport, which makes trading away all that draft capital for Wilson, and possibly Payton, a really poor decision. They should have kept Siemian or Lock and built a championship team. May not have won a SB but would have been a whole lot better than they have been.

    QB purgatory is the most miserable feeling a football fan can go through. You know your team has no chance of winning a championship before the season even starts. Even having a decent game manager QB like Cousins feels great compared to having a different QB every other year that never amounts to anything. I’m an Eagles fan and still remember QB purgatory. It was years of guys like Mark Sanchez & Sam Bradford, and regular season Nick Foles. There were some rough times between Cunningham & Mcnabb too. When Wentz looked like a hit, it was a wonderful feeling to feel like we had a guy for a few years, and it culminated in a Super Bowl but then he immediately fell off a cliff and sent us back to feeling like purgatory was incoming again. Hurts feels capable but it’s hard for me to have faith in a young QB again after the highs and lows with Wentz lol I know how quick it can change and fall apart. Having a franchise QB for a decade or more is absolutely magical and so rare and difficult to find. You were right to shit on Packers fans cause they have no idea what it feels like lol but the jury’s still out on Love so maybe they’ll wind up in purgatory too. The Broncos feel like a hopeless situation and idk how the hell they get out of it. It feels like next year they’ll get a cheap veteran and suffer through another middling year.

    The dumbest thing any team has done in the last 5 years is GUARANTEE MONEY IN THE TENS OF MILLIONS BEFORE A PLAYER EVEN PLAYS A SNAP.
    Broncos.
    Watson.
    Just. Stop it. Stop.

    As a Raiders fan, Stidham played better than Carr at times. He’s a legit starter and he’s better than anything the Raiders have right now. I’m 100% sure if you started Stidham at the beginning of the year you’d be in the playoffs.

    Seahawks fan here, and this video is exactly why I didn't want the Hawks to bring Geno back this season. We saw his peak in '22, he's an above average Wild Card QB at best. Cool. There's nothing worse than being stuck in the middle. I would absolutely rather have sucked this season than started Geno and been 8-8 going into week 18 with an outside shot at the Wild Card. They would still have the 2nd rounder they traded for Big Cat Williams, young guys would be developing and they would be better positioned in thr draft or FA to get their guy for the next era.

    Here's my take. Elway was the problem. How or why? Elway sabotaged the team for two reasons. One he wanted to make sure his records with the team last. Second he was pissed not getting part ownership.

    If Joe Flacco was bad, and now looks like a god on Cleveland, and all these QBs who did well until they entered Denver
    ...the team may be the issue, not the QBs.

      Don't say that, idiotic fans like Perna will tell you Broncos are just QB away from SB. It doesn't matter Broncos have only 1 good WR, no TEs, no RBs and running game, no OL, below avg. Special teams, below avg. defense and old coach who can't coach anymore and who is just avg. at best. But let blame the QB.
